  7. Bring back Rotation Schedule

    I do admit the patrol schedules we had back on Endor were amazing. Having set times where a battalion would patrol this sector of the map, man the base walls, or occupy one of the 2 then later 3 outposts pushed the players to create their own fun. At the time we also had the Sith faction who could pose as "civilians" as well so patrols could vary from time to time. 

    Unfortunately the server isn't like it was back in 2018. Most players expect every patrol to turn into a shootemup event and most players never step foot in Outpost Thesh unless there are NPCs inside to shoot. The actual proper civilian faction now also doesn't create a fraction of entertainment that the Sith faction did at the time and that's all to do with the state of RP in the server. I wish it were different but the way I currently see it right now is that a schedule system that forces players to go sit at Thesh for 30 minutes or so will probably only lead to people disconnecting or doing anything other than passive RP while there. Or they'd just expect a staff member to spawn 100s of droids or a BH Guild to raid Thesh. (Also not saying bring back Sith they sucked)

    This system returning is very unlikely as much as I liked it back then. Just wouldn't work in today's Synergy Roleplay sadly. I implore everyone that would like a system like this to go ahead and take a group of people out to Thesh every chance you get and just chill there or even just patrol around. No staff, no droids, just passive RP. It's a great start.

  8. Bring back BVB

    The reason BVB disappeared never to return was mainly due to all of the toxicity and drama that would unfold during BVB. There was a lot of bad blood between battalions because of it and hell we even still see a bit of this today just with BOTM. Nowhere near to the extent of BVB however but it went away for good reason.

    We've toyed with bringing it back a little over a year ago now when I was HA but at the time server pop wasn't ideal and most battalions wouldn't of been able to participate.

    If this is something the community is interested in returning I'm more than inclined to look into it and potentially bring it back. All I'm gonna say is if the sore losers out there get outta control they can very easily ruin it for everyone once again.

    Who got Battalion of the Month for September 2023?

    Coruscant Guard

    CG has done a wonderful job at maintaining their activity and subtly increasing standards and engagement this month. They've had very good activity and managed to amass 35 new recruits, host 65 trainings, 28 battalion specific trainings, 16 joint trainings, and train 20 CRs this month. Ever since we've increased our server ranking and pop there has been a more even spread of players across every battalion resulting in more tame stats across the board. CG did a great job staying consistent this month and it really shows. Keep it up CG!

    Joint Trainings

    Joint Trainings are an amazing way to involve other battalions in your trainings, improve relations with them, and try out new things! We highly recommend scheduling and hosting joint trainings with other battalions!

    Clone Recruits

    Reminder that SGT+ can train CRs which is a huge part of keeping the server running. It's also a pretty proven fact that most new players join the battalion of which their Trainer was from. So keep that in mind when you train people there's a chance that if you are cool enough they might just join you.

    The absolute last thing we need are more u̶n̶a̶f̶f̶o̶r̶d̶a̶b̶l̶e̶ perma weapons that could be better utilized to instead make a group unique
