-1 I think the way they have handled them so far are fair. If you wanna make the joke do it in a dm with your buddy or something like that. You get a warning, and they said they handle case by case. You say you should be banned for posting an IP grabber, but what if someone post an actually IP? Some may not care if you know where they live, but most do. also the joke is Not funny anymore everytime I see one I just go 💀

You can use that same argument for 501st and 212th They do the exact same thing, why should we keep both? DU can be fixed, and yea sure they don’t have a whole lot of lore, but who gives a fuck about that lol. All of Rancors CMD’s are dead and shouldn’t technically be here, literally almost all of 501sr lore characters are dead, they shouldn’t technically be here. DU is different because you can do whatever you want with it. It doesn’t have a “lore” structure to it. I mean that argument is just flawed. DU could come back and fix itself, and that’s why I’m not +1’ing this.

-1 I use to be in favor of removing battalions(ie: Wipe Rancor and keep just the commanders and have them run the trainings), but I don’t think it’s the same with DU. Yes, there are people that could do there job, but that’s the same with every battalion. You could use that excuse for everyone, and we’d get no where. DU just needs to get the ball rolling and will be back on its feet, I don’t think it’s necessary to remove them. If, however, nothing changes and there is no hope for it, then yea I’d suggest removing it, but until then let’s try and fix it instead of removing it

+1 Good to see you are willing to change. Never to late to give people a second chance. Life can get hard sometimes, and we let out that energy on the server, believe me I did that too, so if you need someone to talk to to just get stuff off your chest, then I’m always here to chat.

+1 Coming from a Boomer of playing StarwarsRP I enjoyed this Swep a lot when I had it on other servers. They is so much that you can do with it, and incorporate it into anything, that people will be using it a lot. This swep is awesome, and I think would make a great addition to the server

Date of Ban: August 6th, 2020 (8 months and 20 days ago from day of posting appeal) Length of Ban: Permanent Staff Member(s) Involved: Freck/Anderson (Directors at the time) Reason(s) why we should accept your appeal: Backstory for the people who do not know at all: There was a situation going on where myself and a very small group of individuals did not agree with how a certain battalion was run. This came from us being opinionated and believing we could do better ourselves and have improvements. We did trash talk them in a separate discord and a part of that group were making a commander report with the ultimate goal of getting the command out of their positions, and getting someone else in. One day Freck & Anderson (the directors) pulled me in a channel and asked about it which led to everyone getting dragged in, the story being told, and ultimately us getting banned at the discretion of the directors. This was in-game, in TeamSpeak, and on the Forums. I do believe that some have been unbanned already, but this all was a toxic and dramatic happening that could’ve been avoided. Quite honestly, I have changed. That may be hard to accept for people, maybe forever, maybe not. But I have. In the time I have not been on the server I have mostly been working on myself, and even if it is self-proclaimed, lost toxicity towards people as a whole. The ban was quite a while ago and I accepted that. Even if I found that it was blown out of proportion (with the forum post at the time as well), I won’t deny that there was toxicity and drama I was part of at the time. In the time I have been banned and thus could not get on the server, TeamSpeak, and the forums I believe I have changed enough. Obviously, words are words and nothing is proven till it turns into action. I do not have a lot to say here other than that I have actually changed. In this meantime I have stepped away from GMod as a whole except for April 22nd to check the ban reasoning again. I thought this was a meme suggestion when I first read it, and I thought why no one took it down, then I read it.... sheeeeeeesh. I think it would be funny, and yea it my be mingey, but we added a middle finger swept, so I don’t see an issue with it. +1 (plus who wouldn’t wanna shoot ice in the veins after plowing through 9 B1’s, 2 Sith Lords, and 5 event jobs?)

After looking into the workshop. It says that the app won’t work on PvP servers, and since this is a PvP/PvE/RP server it could cause issues. I think that once more updating and fixing up the modder does to the mod, then I think this could be discussed again. -1

It’s a Semi-Serious-Roleplay server, which means that it’s serious, but you don’t have to be serious all the time. I don’t think you need to change the rules, because Piff I think what you suggested is already a thing, however I think this is a good clarification of what’s you can do. Also to Clarify some of your points. Why does it matter if you sit on railings? Just stand or sit on boxes? You also have to realized that a clone trooper wearing armor wouldn’t be able to be supported on a railing
