Hi, I think Ron summed this up perfectly honestly. But to add a little more sauce I will apply the following, a quote from another forum saying A-A-ron was a hero and doing the right thing. To respond directly to posts made here: @Mike If you think this was a ban based on his opinion of the server being in a bad place, I really, really worry for you. I have clearly stated the reasons he was banned, and his opinion on the server being in a bad spot was not one of them. Many users voice their concerns weekly, monthly, whatever about the server, and they have the right to do so, because it shows they care. They are attempting to provide solutions, but as @Ron has stated, that is not what A-A-ron does. He makes constant complaints without even playing and provides no solutions, he intentionally attempts to stir problems and bully or belittle others. If you've followed him, you can see this within his posts. Also, since we are throwing jabs and opinions out and about. imo you should of stayed banned after the first one, but Nightmare and Joah saved you. I see no change in your attitude based on that post. :^) @Regional We almost never provide such info, as it can be labelled as slandering. We only provide it in situations it is needed. In this situation, it's not needed. As to this appeal, this ban was never placed strictly on behalf of the single post, and I feel many users are forgetting that. I feel A-A-ron is trying to play a victim card, or he really cannot grasp that it's not based on a single post but his consistent toxic attitude. I personally think this community would be better off without him and that this appeal has been posted WAY to soon after original ban, which makes me think he has learned nothing. However, to defend him, I never said it was a no appeal, and I have no problems with a time limit being put on him moving forward. IE a month, week, whatever ban. I also /HOPE/ that since he is attempting to appeal, he does infact care, and simply has a shitty way of showing it. If he is unbanned, I would strongly hope this is a big wakeup call to him on how to handle situations. Because unlike a majority of this community, I do actually have a proper good job, and work fulltime, I do have responsibilites and years of experience with situations just like this. And I DO know that this attitude will not help you in the real world but likely land you in a shitty job that you cannot stand. Respect and kindness for all is some of the best things you can carry into the real world. (not jabbing people not working or in school, but many users are at the age of 16 or below, including A-A-ron and I can promise you don't have shit figured out by that point.) tl;dr read it, cause alot of you base opinions on the easy to read 5 word posts eks dee. I am leaving this up to the Directors choice for appeal, but request he is left ban atleast a week starting from original ban date, if the ban is changed.

It's hilarious how the people that are always complaining are the people with the most time, and the least effort amount of effort put towards to results. I'm removing the dumb's from this post. Half are memes, and the other half are unjust. You shouldn't dumb people because you disagree, you should dumb them because they said something genuinely stupid. Shaw's rep shouldn't take a slap for his opinion, which he backed up with personal points. Grow up kids.

I was originally going to respond to the thread "We are just one big Family" but I didn't want this message to get burried in the memes. Because I feel this is a very real topic that should be brought up. It may even help some of you out there unsure of what you're doing in life. @ISNIFFPROPANE made a commend about how Gmod is just a game. His exact message being "It’s Garrys Mod." Perhaps I overread this, but it got me thinking. As much as I am an ambassador to the idea of "It's Garrys Mod." I feel @KillJoy deserves a bit more credit for what he is implying in his post. Though yes, Garrys Mod, like anything else is just a game. People are not here for the server, they are here for themselves and each other, similar to a family. I can dev the best Gmod server out there, but without a community of people to enjoy it together, the server is nothing. This community lives because of each and every single one of you guys. Toxic uncles or sweet aunts. Every single person helps create this place and the positivity or negativity it can bring to people's lives. As someone who had been around for some time, I can without hesitation guarentee, yes, Gmod is just a game to some- if not most people. But Gmod and the communities it builds can have a very very real effect on people within it as well. You can make some of your best friends, oppurtunites and memories through Gmod. I personally have been lucky enough to share a ton of special moments with my time within Gmod and it's community. For me, it was a great outlit when I was younger and had a hard time getting out due to sickness to make more friends. I have been able to save people's lives through Gmod, people who were in really bad spots and just needed a friend, and to know there was more out there than a game. I was able to make some good friends, such as @CBlake and partake in big parts of his life such as his situation of marrige. I've been able to travel to other countries and meet MULTIPLE friends that I still keep in contact with almost daily. People I was able to make memories with and helped me become who I am today. Friendships that have long outlasted Gmod. Garry's Mod has helped me financially in the past and present. I've been able to use money I made through my work (not your guys donation money, my old communities and odd jobs, don't worry.) to provide games to a friend when they are bummed, new hardware for their setup, birthday gifts, food, etc. I was able to use the crazy amount of hours and work I have commited to Gmod to reach my current job, a honest dream job for a company I likely would of failed to get into without some of the experience and stories I have gathered through my work within this game. I guess what I am trying to convey, is yes. Garry's mod is just a game. But with the right attitudes, you can make this game so much more, and have this game create some very real, very good friends who you can rely on. So stop focusing about that promotion, or how a bug killed you, or - dare I say updates. Focus on the moment, focus on enjoying your time and not overlooking the moments you could be missing to try and get into someones good books. This community was built on Joahs vision, and it always will be. Though I completely love that vision, I like to think that through my time here I helped push for a secondary idea. The idea that we are in this together, and we do care. Even when we seem like we don't we are all doing our best and want the best for all of you. Anyways, I don't want this to be to long, but I hope you'll take the time to read my little rant, and hopefully through my likely typo's and errors, you got the message. This is important.

@Mok Negative homie. I live in Canada, you never can not be let off the hook for meth. Punishment can be less harsh for things like a first offense or amount, a fine is required by law. If an officer were to let you go, it would fall 100% to their own judgement - like the admin sit. If you're interested in the topic more, you can find some cool stuff here. As to the topic at hand, the bottom line is, you are not required to be told what you did wrong, unless the admin sees fit. If they find your rule breaking to be potentially dangerous, they can ban you on the spot. Do I agree with you, that he should have reached out and spoken to you? 100%, yeah. But to use that as a point in the appeal at all is -to me- a ridiculous idea. End of the day, you glitched out of a cell, he could of thought you cheated or exploited - both perm bannable offenses, and thought he went easy on you. It would be good to hear from the staff member though. Shoot me a pm if you wanna talk further. I am bad at watching the forums.

I love these. "Banned 2 days with no warning" As if you're in some way entitled to a warning. The moment you break a rule, you throw away that freedom. It's the admin on dutys best judgement for the situation. It's the same as when someone commits a crime. They go to jail, they are not entitled to be warned. Oh you have some meth on you? That's alright. It's your first offense! No. You go to jail, loser. You're no better then those "Police are bad" neckbeards. Furthermore your "because the admin who banned me was there and 2 other people" just proves you knew what you did was wrong, but you tried to play it off. I would say wait out your two days, if it was me it would be doubled or trippled for the stupidity of this appeal alone. Good thing it's up to the directors and not me. -1

This would just be commending people that say hurtful or borderline destructive things to others. In some cases, it may even draw people into thinking it's alright to spit roast someone else. Because let's be honest, "Yikes" is usually said after a burn or callout. -1 Sorry champ.
