  1. I'm Leaving. That's the update :) This is not an ‘I’m going to say it…” post. Cliche music outro: Well, everyone, the time has come. I’ve spent many years here, seeing the worst of it and seeing it at its best. But there comes a time when it’s time to move on. I’ve done what I can for the community, and I ain’t got no gas anymore. For those who can’t read or have the attention span of a gerbil; yappervile XD LMFAO, fortnite dance, skibbidy toilet, womp womp, loud = funny meme compilation. Split video mobile game/family guy. Moving on… I stuck around when the community was in its death throes. But I stayed with it and supported @Xaze, the development team, and @Jad. The community climbed out of its hole. And as far as I am aware, I don’t recall any gaming server, let alone a Gmod one, going to the brink of death to recover as we have. I am proud of the work we put in to get here. And I am proud of all of you for sticking around and supporting us. However, I’ve reached a point where I don’t see myself contributing healthily or productively. I am quite open with my opinions, and I’ve never shied away from sharing them with the community or server leadership. So, I am not going to reiterate those points. Instead, I’d like to remember all my good times. I will address the community with one point; This is a community of people who are trying to create a cooperative experience. These petty inter-battalion/faction squabbles, vying for power (whatever that’s worth), stabbing each other in the back, and ruining friendships because you disagreed are the worst part of you all. Holding people to standards you do not uphold yourself. The worst possible thing you can do is break trust. I know you can be better because some of you have shown how to be better. Grow up. It’s a game, an RP server where you must work together to create a fun experience. Don’t be a shitter. There are many good memories, and I’ve made many lifelong friends here. Just to highlight a few as I can’t name every moment but; Helped rebuild Special Operations from the ground up when it was its battalion. Back then, things were a lot more stupid regarding how things were done back in the day. You new guys got it easy. Mainly playing as a CT to change the perspective of how CTs can roleplay and how they should be perceived and treated. They are new community members; we should show them a good time and positively interact with them. I’m happy that things are much better than they were back in the day. I will not shout out an individual battalion, but some do it far better than others, and you can all learn from them. CTism is real. The Navy is underrated. I enjoyed playing in the faction every time, as you have a lot of creative freedom if you just push and try. But it’s mostly passive, which is fine. Please stop bullying the Navy; they are walking nerd emojis and have it hard enough as it is. Bounty Hunting, just all of it. This faction has so much potential for RP, creating small stories amongst friends, which can affect the community. Even today, I still get asked about bringing Clan Leven back because of its impact on the Guild and Community (it’s not coming back, so stop asking; you know who you are). My bounty hunter experience was the same as playing KOTR, with how in-depth and fun it can be if you put enough effort into it. For those who say BH is bad, or boring or “let's bring back X faction and replace BH” because you just want something to shoot, just play as a clone. You’re already dull, so don’t make it worse for the rest of us. It’s 100% a skill issue if you can’t make BH fun for yourself, as it requires creativity and thinking outside the box; yes, I know thinking is hard, but some of you can figure it out. Jedi is the worst faction. Toxic labels should be put around the temple on jah. Development. Jad asked me if I wanted to work alongside him and I do not regret that decision. Helping sculpt the community and its future was a worthwhile project, and I enjoyed all of it most of it. Would I do it again? Yes. For as much pain and stress it has caused, from internal disagreements to the aneurysms the community has given me. It was all worth it. I enjoyed working alongside Xaze, Jad and the other developers. As much shit as you all give Xaze, I give him 10x more shit. Catchup. But the team is passionate, and they care, so ease up on them. They are only human and try their best for something they volunteer to do for you all. Blocking all of VA+ for a while. You’re annoying. #Fuckstaff Lastly, the community. Um, you’re honestly a bunch of shitters at times. You don’t know you’re ass from your elbow. Unless I looked into a septic tank, I don’t think I’ve met a more toxic cesspool (looking at you forum goblins and people who don’t play anymore but think their opinion matters). Now, for those who didn’t just jump to reacting or replying with a comment before they finished reading, this is for you. Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage I still love this community. Despite all of the faults and issues, there are good people here who genuinely care for others and want to have fun—just shooting droids, playing a character, and creating stories for others to enjoy. I’ve seen the community be wholesome and genuinely want to work together. I just wish it had occurred more. I just wish we all could be better. Don’t be evil. Be kind. So this is it. I wish you all the best of luck in your future endeavours. One last thing. This video is my favourite clip on Synergy that lives rent-free in my head, and I need to watch it now and then. Oh and if you think to or comment “where’s my @” then you didn’t deserve it. This is the same energy of “Where’s my hug.” Don’t pretend that you did. Everyone knows why you weren’t. PS: I’ll be in TS for the rest of the day to chat after this is posted.

  3. Steam Name: Underpaidstaff RP Name: Wolffe [Clorox] RP Rank: BCMD Steam ID: 76561198278978641 STEAM_0:1:159356456 Regiment you are applying for: Mechanized Regimental Commander Why should you become a Regimental Commander?: The Mechanized Regiment has been my passion for the past year on this server. The Mechanized Regiment has shown me an atmosphere I haven’t gotten to see in so long. The friendliness and casual comradery has made me feel at home since I first joined the 21st and continued endlessly during my time in the 104th. I have been in all three battalions and can say without a doubt that I have enjoyed the close knit experience, This is an experience I want to bring to all members of the Mechanized battalions both current and future. I want to ensure the 41st, 104th, and 21st all have a chance to show off their respective skills and vehicles. I am very active and capable of being a visible and driven leader who loves this regiment deeply and will push tis regiment to be the absolute best they can be. Availability: Monday and Tuesday nights I will be unavailable some nights otherwise I can usually hop on whenever I want or need too Give a brief overview of your achievements and experience on the server: Experience: 91st MEDO 91st Lightning Squad 91st ARCL 91st XO 91st WAC-47 41st Green Company MEDL 212th 2ndAC MEDO 21st SO ARFL 21st SO MEDL 104th MEDO Dire Squad MAJ Spitter 104th BCMD Wolffe Do you have a microphone?: Yes Where do you want your regiment to be at the end of your term?: Overall The mechanized battalions are a group of relatively small yet strong and well knit battalions. I intend to build up the connection between the battalions to ensure the three battalions and their subunits are properly working together and making a stronger force. There will be more regimental trainings and entertainments to ensure they build up their abilities as a regiment. I want to see the Regiment grow and become a true powerhouse on the server. Throughout my term I will be working with the BCMDs and their battalions to ensure every goal is reached and every member thoroughly enjoys their time on the server. 21st The 21st has a great group of guys coupled with some great subunits to make for the potential to become a true powerhouse in the server. I want to ensure their subunits each have a chance to show their separate skills with SO being given a covert and black-ops roll and KU adopting an elite shock troop role to ensure they all maintain their identities. I want to see them pushing more tank trainings and running more encounters based around their identity. The Galactic marines have shown to be very capable and I want to ensure they are given the time and numbers to be able to show what they can do. The 21st has a good set of leaders whom I know can ensure the battalion is run well and I intend to ensure it is kept that way. 41st The 41st has been doing some work over the past couple of months and managed to achieve battalion of the month. I am proud of them for this accomplishment and believe they can continue to grow in the next few months. I really want to see them get the chance to engage in their lore given role of reconnaissance and embedding of alien populaces, I already have trainings and encounters planned out to make this a reality. With Improco, I want to work on seeing them more in Special ops type missions as well as extraction and diversion missions. I want to see more sniper and reconnaissance activities and look forward to working with the 41st to ensure these happen 104th The 104th has improved spectacularly over the past 5 months and I could not be more happy to see them prosper. I want to see them build upwards on tank trainings and tank based entertainments. I want to see Dire squad build a better identity to ensure their long term well being and become special in their own right. I want to see 104th coming into the role of a true tank battalion making use of their vehicles. The battalion as a whole is well off but can always be better, I want to ensure that the next Wolffe is well and ready to continue improving upon themselves. I will be pushing for more tank trainings and entertainments in game How do you plan to improve relations within your regiment?: The mechanized regiments have for the past few months been good however I want to see them closer. I will ensure the number of joint trainings and entertainments will increase in order to see the 21st, 41st, and 104th all grow more capable of working as a joint unit. I am extremely active in game and will be able to operate visibly both in game and in teamspeak with the battalions. I want the mechanized battalions to actively reach out with and hang out with each other and will ensure they all have the mindset of operating together. The boys of the mechanized regiment are without a doubt deserving of an RCMD who will give them their utmost attention and work tirelessly to ensure they have the best experience they can both with their own battalion and their fellow battalions. With my abilities as a staff member I will ensure that all three battalions get the chance to demonstrate their roles, vehicles and playstyle both as a battalion and a regiment. Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?: yes Do you understand that your position has a three month term limit and you must reapply after three months to maintain your regimental commander rank?: Yes

  4. Steam Name: Blazin RP Name: Blazin RP Rank: Jedi Battalion Overseer Steam ID: 76561198255839733 Why should you become Grand Master?: The reason I want to become Grand Master is because I know that I have the leadership qualities that are needed for the position. Throughout my time on the Jedi Council, I have worked on the Mentor program, changed the way that Knight trials are performed, helped create the new ranks and requirements, pushed for changes to Knight Watch that made the system as transparent as it can be, and created the High Council shadow program. I have been a Master for about 6 months now and have worked closely with the current Master team, so I am well aware of how to interact with them and how they work together. With this knowledge and team work, I know that I can work alongside my High Council to ensure that the Master Team+ is keeping up with their responsibilities and working efficiently in a way that allows the Jedi Order to keep moving smoothly. Yoda has always been the end goal for me and something that I have been working towards since joining the server last August. I have learned a lot in my time as a Council Member, and now a High Council member, that has helped give me the push I need to apply for this position with the knowledge and discipline needed to succeed. As Yoda, I want to provide more of an active presence within the server, working with the Order to communicate new and better ways for trials and systems that we currently have. Availability: Monday-Thursday: 3 pm-12 am Friday-Sunday: 5 pm-10 pm *This will vary but I’m usually always available on Discord Give a brief overview of your achievements and experience on the server: Rancor LT (as Shaak Ti) SOBDE LT (as Arligan Zey) 41st CPT (as Luminara Unduli) Sage Lead Jedi Council Member Jedi Battalion Overseer Do you have a microphone?: Yes Where do you want the Jedi Order to be at the end of your term?: Communication - One of the largest focuses during my term will be improving communication between the different ranks in the Jedi Order. With how things are now, I feel this is a major issue that has been long overlooked. Because of the new rank revamp, I would like to focus on improving communications between Knights and Padawans by introducing a more rigid system that has Knights focused on teached their Padawans more roleplay-focused skills. One of my first projects will be making a step by step guide on how to properly help Padawans as their Master. For Masters and Knights, I want Masters to take a more hands-on approach in mentoring Knights that are interested in potentially joining the Master team. I’d also like to bring back the High Command feedback form for Masters to fill out biweekly, so that we can know as the High Council what we need to be improving on. By the end of my term, I would like to have the Order be more RP-focused and be more open. Jedi Council/Master Team - When it comes to the current responsibilities of the Jedi Masters, Council Members, and High Council Members, I believe that they should work more side-by-side with one another. Council Members will eventually become High Council, as a result, I want them to start gaining a better understanding of those duties early on so that they can determine if being a member of High Council is right for them. Additionally, I want the Masters to work more closely with the Council Members so that they, too, can gain more experience and come to better understand the Council Member's work. One thing that I want to push the Master team to do is have more individual meetings with High Council members. This will ensure that standards are being upheld, give them time to ask questions that they might have, and also give the High Council members a chance to let them know how they think they are doing. Masters are an essential part of the Order and with the recent loss of so many of them, so I want to make sure we are properly taking the time to get them the experience they need and keeping relations with them so that they stay around as long as possible while we work on bolstering our numbers. High Council -The High Council team, I believe, needs to have a stronger presence on the server as they are positions that are held in high regard. Throughout my term, I want to combine my efforts with the Overseers to ensure that the Order is running smoothly without making it seem like I am micromanaging them. They were given their positions for a reason and I respect their abilities. The goal is simply to help make sure everything is being completed efficiently. The biggest change I’d like to make here is delegating some of the Chief Instructor responsibilities like hosting Master meetings and discipline to Windu. I think this change will positively impact the Windu position and keep them more involved. Consular - The Consular branch is in a great place with Soulless leading the charge. My biggest concern with this branch is working to create new opportunities that allow them to thrive. The best way is to let them do what they do best: roleplaying. I plan on using my abilities as a GM to host specialized SIMs for them to complete, allowing them to really showcase their roleplaying ability. I think that with the leadership in charge of them now, this branch will have no problem staying as a powerhouse for the foreseeable future. ( also diamond storm fix would be nice :) ) Guardian - The Guardian branch has been in a state of reconstruction for some time now. There are still a lot of manager slots open in the branch and it has never been more crucial to fill those spots with active people. The Weapon Specialist side has an experienced Jedi in charge of it, so I believe that will continue to grow. If Lightsaber Instruction classes continue to be held, along with trials, I believe Guardian will have no trouble continuing to grow throughout my term. A big thing I’ll be pushing for the Guardian Branch is for them to have ACE exclusivity. This will not only help boost Guardian’s numbers, it’ll also help with keeping the server at healthy tick rates. Temple Guard - Temple Guards have had their ups and downs, but now that it has been relegated to being Knight+ the branch is being filled with more established Jedi. My goal is to work with the Branch Master and their Manager team to help create more trainings focused on capturing targets and defending valuable areas. I also want to continue fostering a healthy relationship between Temple Guard and Coruscant Guard so that they are always on the same page. It would be beneficial to have them meet at least once a month to discuss how things are going and what improvements can be made. Lastly, after working with the current TG leadership to create the new Investigator trials, I’m confident the addition of the sub-branch will have a positive impact on the branch overall. Sentinel - Sentinel has been struggling with having steady leadership for a bit. Fortunately ever since Malakor took over, they’ve had a steady Branch Master. This main branch has always done well but the Shadow sub-branch is where it always struggles. A lot of people think of Shadows the “edgy” sub-branch and changing the mentality around it will be step one in making it better. With Investigators coming back soon, I’d like to see both Sentinels and Shadows create a good relationship with them. I also think it’ll be beneficial for the Sentinels to focus on growing their relationship with the civilian faction. Overall I want to see the Sentinel branch focus their efforts on reviving Shadow and making it a sub-branch that is respected. Battalion Jedi - Another of the large focuses during my term will be with Battalion Jedi. Clone and Jedi interactions are some of the best roleplay on the server and I'd like to see more of it. A lot of Jedi have the mindset that branch work is the only real way to progress in the Order, which just is not the case at all and I'd like to bring back the mentality that work in a battalion is equally as viable. I want all Jedi to understand that they have the option to focus on branch work OR battalion work. I would work closely with the next Military Advisor to ensure that standards are held for the battalion Lore Jedi since there are so few slots available. There needs to be higher standards for roleplay and activity for these Jedi, while still respecting the opinions of their battalions. Faction Relations - Creating and maintaining positive relations between factions is something that I believe is essential to the overall health of Synergy. With the recent addition of Jedi Diplomats, the relationship between Civilian and Jedi is stronger than ever. This addition was something that I personally oversaw along with Super, which means that it is something I am vested in seeing grow further. Naval Jedi, however, is an area that I believe is lacking and I want to sit down with Xander to come up with some changes to get more people excited to join. -TLDR; The past couple of months, more than enough big changes have been made. I want to spend my term not creating more big changes, but ironing out the existing systems that we already have to ensure that things are running smoothly. The most significant changes I am planning on making is restructuring what each rank is responsible for, redefining current High Council roles (specifically Windu and Chief Instructor), and involving the Master team and Council members more than they are already. I want to give more responsibilities to Masters and Council Members so that they truly feel that their opinions matter. How do you plan to improve relations within the Jedi Order between branches?: Consular and Temple Guard - The current relationship between Consular and Temple Guard isn’t the best, so to make it better I’d like to have the manager teams of both branches get together and discuss what they think would be best to improve relations. For Example, they could start running trainings together by having the Temple Guards and Consulars work to capture a Sith, the Consulars would be able to do conversion RP while the Temple Guard defends the Consular. Guardian and Sentinel - While Sentinel is doing good, I believe that their relationship with Guardians isn’t great as they don't interact with each other much. To strengthen the relationship I wanted to have both management teams host joint trainings and missions, as they are both lightsaber-focused branches. We could also have tournaments with the two and have instruction classes to improve their dueling abilities. -With these relations strengthened, I believe that the Jedi Order will be functioning much better. Many more opportunities will arise for people to be active and participate in events with their branches. I don’t want people to just join Branches for the skill tree, I’d like to see them actively engaging with their Branches. While I think there’s ways to strengthen relations between different combinations of branches than what I stated above, I’d like to start with what I spoke about first since these will be the easiest (due to branch similarities). Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?: Yes Do you understand that your position has a three month term limit and you must reapply after three months to maintain your Grand Master rank?: Yes

  5. One thing I've noticed on high command application recently, this one included, is a lack of anything about actual high command business. Palpatine is 1 of the most important positions on the server. You have a lot of strength in a position like this. Your app & answers paint a picture yes. But you, alongside directors, would be the leading authority on change and player development within the community. How have you proved you can be trusted with such a position? Another thing, getting factions stable is great. It's your job. But do you have any agenda on anything you want to push for these factions? Literally the sky is the limit for you. It will be a HOT minute before we see a Marshal. If you are given the ability to step in like Palpatine's before you, will you be able to deal with all that responsibility? It is a massively different beast. Yoda, you get the council and all that. Right now though, you would be running a very bare bones high command team. I wanna be confident in your ability to deal with situations quickly. Can you do this? How will you avoid a potential overlode/burnout? I don't wanna be the guy to say it, but I will. The current Guild Lead and Mas have been around for how long? If this is still a problem, that in itself is an issue. If something like this gets worse, how will you deal with that? One thing I butted heads with you a lot was your purpose of a Windu. When I asked you about updating his perms, also you being asked by your windu to update his perms. You didn't for almost a month. Still haven't. Can you commit to make changes quick and efficiently? And not waiting on the next guy to do it? The last thing I gotta ask, to kind of include everything else I've said, we haven't had a Palpatine in a long time. Why should it be you?

  8. Extensive, Endor, and Onderon are the only contenders. Extensive is the peak Venator map. The only other venators that can be brought up our brought up for pure nostalgia. Extensive had it all despite being a little bit of a labyrinth for newer people. Endor objectively had everything a ground map should have depending on the version you remember. Personally I preferred the version where the Jedi Temple was on the planet like an outpost compared to the one you teleported to. The perfect sized base that isn’t too big or too small, two decent sized outposts for Clones, Jedi Temple that you could physically go to and not need to teleport to, the village on top of the mountain, the space port tunnel / Sith Temple teleporter, the big lake. It was perfect in terms of content it just looked and felt like a toddler made the terrain. Onderon takes the cake on pure visuals and design alone. Onderon was the perfect unique Star Wars planet that we could have ever used and it looked stunning. Personally I think the largest downfall of Onderon were just tiny hiccups here and there that started to buildup like tree and rock hit boxes being a little bogus or the outpost being a big bland box that NPCs could shoot through. The village was an awesome concept even without a BH/Civilian faction because it’s something non militaristic and cool. Also I prefer the second layer being more of the planet I just wish it had a little more variation and wasn’t dense jungle like the first sector. If it was more open fields for GMs to build and what not that would have been a bit better but compared to having “different” planets I much prefer having a different sector of the same planet. Plus we had the seasonal variants which were just so cool. Tldr; Remaster Endor with Onderon assets Also fuck Anaxes even when we were at 128 players DAILY it was still a shitty barren ghost town. You barely ever saw anyone on that piece of trash. Love the planet hate the base.

  9. Lot of yap incoming but here you go @Brooklyn 1. With the changes I've made to the Knight Watch system (making it public) I believe that issue solved itself. Since everything is public now and can be freely talked about, I believe this takes a huge bias factor out of the system. Previously Masters could say pretty much anything they wanted about the people on the list and it would be behind closed doors, so now with the changes made if untruthful things are being said or people are being misled it'll be much easier to spot. 2. When it comes to HC, as long as there is communication I do believe they should have free reign to do what is stated on the Jedi permissions document. Like I stated in my app, the people in these positions were put there for a reason and I trust them fully. Being kept in the loop is all I'll be expecting. 3. Merged isn't the word I would use. I do however think some of the responsibilities should be swapped around. I do believe we need the 4 positions but there is definitely some changes that need to be made. When it comes to Windu, I believe that discipline over the Master and Council team should be given completely to him (this is currently one of the Chief Instructor roles). I'd also like to give the Chief Instructor full responsibility over the High Council shadow program. When it comes to hosting Master meetings, I believe that Yoda should be doing that instead of the Chief Instructor. 4. I don't have any intentions of changing the current system. With the distinguished system replacing perma Master, I think we're perfectly fine. To be completely honest, I never understood how someone that was Yoda 3 years ago can just come back and become a Master in an Order that they don't understand. There needs to be some sort of cool down where they acclimate back to the current state of the server and I believe that the distinguished system does that perfectly. 5. I believe having the individual meetings with people will stop any situations like that from happening again. At the end of the day, I can not 100% ensure that the Guardian situation will never happen again. On the other hand, If these issues are not being brought up by the overseers, then something is really wrong. If there is consistent issues in an Overseer's area and they aren't even being brought up to me, I can confidently tell you that person will no longer be an Overseer. These are positions that are held in high regard and I'm not going to let areas of this faction struggle because of one person not doing the job they applied for. When the Overseer of said area is vacant, I'll step in and do the job myself with the help of my Windu. This is pretty much the only thing that will guarantee the work gets done until said position can be filled. 6. When it comes to the Council, pushing out the Shadow Program more and making sure they stay involved with the Overseers is a great way to keep them more engaged. Besides that, I'd like to keep the ball rolling how things are. If there are any Council members that feel other changes need to be made, I'm always willing to talk and go over things. 7. I do see this as an issue. A great example is that with the current rules, we have to wait 7 days before voting on lore character apps for Masters. I can tell you with full confidence that this will be gone day one of my term. There is absolutely no reason to wait 7 days to vote on an application made by someone we interact with daily. 8. Not really sure how to answer this since its a very broad question, but I'll give it a shot. I want Jedi to just have fair systems all around. I talked a bit about this in my app, but overall I just want people to be able to have fun while also progressing at steady rates. Not really sure what else to add here, so if you'd like me to be more specific please let me know. 9. The goal will be to cover as many things as possible. I'd like this to be something that everyone on the Master+ team works on together and that we have full confidence in before we put it out. 10. This will happen with the HC Shadow program that I put out. This allows all Council Members to work with any Overseer of their choosing, and helps them gain an understanding of the responsibilities. They can also switch Overseers whenever they want, which lets them get experience in all areas of Jedi High Command. 11. The biggest issue there was HC not being held to the same standard as every other Council+. People were just allowed to be completely inactive on their positions with no consequences. I'd like to just start the mentality that HC is not untouchable, and if they aren't doing what's required of them they will be removed. I'd obviously try to help them first and get them back on track but at the end of the day if people are consistently not doing what's expected of them I do not want them in my HC. 12. For Battalion Jedi, they need to be interacting with their Battalions. This is one of the most important things about being a Battalion Jedi. Besides that, our current setup has some of the most beloved Star Wars characters. The people in these positions needs to be playing their characters and overall just being the face of Jedi. This is something I've tried to push out during my time as Military Advisor. I hope I answered all your questions but feel free to let me know if I need to elaborate on anything!

  11. I've heard multiple times that they don't like to touch the roster cause they dont want to break it and the bot is being buggy. I believe the discord bot adds an unnecessary step that is easy to update on the roster anyways. Right now, whenever you want to update someone's rank, you have to go on to the discord and type in a command that often doesn't fully work. If we adjust it to the no bot version, they will instead click a drop down box next to the person's name, click the rank, then update the promotion date. All you have to do for new recruits if we switch to this version is add their Name, SteamID, and Recruitment date to the roster. There is already code on the current roster that auto sorts the roster based on rank so you don’t have to move them on the roster or anything crazy. Letting people just not do work will result in no one actually doing intel work and nothing gets done. Allowing NCOs to join the intel team will help display their drive to help the battalion alongside trainings and recruitments. Their activity in the intel branch can help decide out of the SNCOs who displays good qualities of an officer in the battalion. With the roster type I have in mind, it would be super hard to break, and if anything is broken the intel training given will teach them how to fix anything including the formulas. We originally talked to Clorox, yes, but after we showed and talked to him about it he asked us to get a meeting with you. Unfortunately due to conflicting schedules we were never able to get one set up, and Clorox offered to get a meeting with you alone and pitch it for us. The entire roster change was removing some automation, and bringing up the idea of a merit system for promotions. The total changes were: Removing the need for the bot by adding drop down boxes to update ranks, fixing and adding Battalion Activity and Monthly training count pivot tables to the hub tab, adjusting regiment tab formulas to separate how the cells look for squad members and their actual regiment (having the squad member look at the “Lore Character” column in the roster and their Regiment actually being on the “Regiment Column”, adjusting the formulas on the regiments tab that look for squad lead/xo and regiment lead to allow members that fill both roles actually show in both positions, reworking the checkbox that was utilized for “WP” to now show if a trooper is able to be promoted or not on one tab. My Wolfpack idea was pretty recent to be honest and Mystic I 100% agree with you. I could do this now. I just wasn't fully sure how to go about it just yet. I want to shift the entire idea of Wolfpack. This includes what the tryouts and docs would look like to more focus on the idea of being an insertion team, being able to make HALO drops with the fuel in your jetpack, or know what to do when dropped in a hot zone, things along those lines. Even if I don't get Wolffe I will still work with Badger and whoever gets Wolffe to give Wolfpack some identity. My idea for Dire Squad was just that, an idea. I talked with Debitor telling him what I think could be cool for the squad. Even if I got Wolffe it wasn't going to be a “okay you are this now”, I would have worked with the Dire Squad to build something for their squad that would solidify their spot in the server. MED: Right now we are currently about to fill the entire medical leadership team. I personally would like to encourage medics to set aside time for med rp after patrols or events and encourage others to participate in the rp like getting a checkup. I also would like for the med leadership to host med specific sims. ARF: They recently have made a bit of a comeback when it comes to numbers. I think they have a strong leadership team even while missing a ARFO. I think if we begin to work more closely with the 41st we can really begin to work on getting ARF troopers out to scout before any patrols or events. SUP: They have decent numbers but we do need to find a two SUPOs to help out with the branch. I think if we push to make more sims that involve the aspect of flying could be cool, however, I think we should start to lean into the engineering aspect of SUP by doing routine maintenance rp on tanks after having it out for events or sims. I think for both HVY and ARC. They have strong leadership with great numbers. I would love to get them more sims made for these branches and continue to watch them grow. Obviously I would work closely with the leads and officers of these branches along with the REGL to get what they need and get them to grow and keep growing. I have already been trying to lead by example by hosting sims and trainings but also hosting fun stuff like poorly made game shows or a game of hide and go seek. So with being Wolffe I would encourage the NCO core to follow suit by hosting their own sims and trainings, along with having the officers encourage things to be done during down time or lead by example and just host something. I think there is no clear quota, obviously there are the four large trainings per month on the roster but as Clorox has stated this can be waived by other work within the battalion. To lower ranks this could be confusing and subjective when it should be more objective and clear cut, I think it is important to display what the options are as quotas (example: instead of 1 large training, they do 2 patrols). Yes, personally from my standpoint, Wolfpack is just guys with jetpacks! They have no clear mission set other than go shoot the enemies from high up places. This is my fault as WPXO I should have approached Badger sooner to get something going. As for Dire Squad they are just a named squad for now. They have their jobs on the server and thats really it after the change from being the negotiations team, I personally don't know how long ago that was but the idea has been changed so I want to bring them into the light. Clorox has given the next BCMD an opportunity to bring this battalion to the top of the server. However, I feel there are some parts of the battalion that need work/revamps. In my personal opinion I feel as I would be the perfect choice to continue what Clorox has started. I went through hell and back as a Doom’s Unit commander. I was part of the group that pushed for Havoc Squad to get their own jobs and later their very own models. Watching the battalion die in numbers and almost get removed was rough but we kept kicking and made a killer comeback. As ARCL I was able to get an active squad of ARCs after revamping the ARC tryouts and ARC handbook. As ARCO I had similar success helping my ARCL where it was needed and keeping the boys active. I was just joining back in DU and asked what needed help, and the HVY branch had no leadership so I took it head on bringing in new members making HVY something once again in DU. With all of these ups and downs in my career I will be able to push past any hurdles or obstacles that arise during my time as BCMD as I have before. I have been reaching out to other BCMDs building relations with other battalions in the server to help prevent any hurdles. I feel like the 104th is super solid just some of the pieces need work and can be fixed with the right leadership and I believe all current candidates can make 104th better than before. I'm super sorry I took so long had a busy day hope this helps. Please ask me any more questions you may have!

Steam Name: Taco RP Name: Dash-29 | Taco RP Rank: LT Steam ID: 76561198834561097 Battalion you are applying for: 104th Mechanized Assault Battalion Experience: Doom’s Unit: x2 Commander 6 months total, x2 ARCL, x2 ARCO, x1 HVYL Havoc Squad: Brimstone, Gambit, Lancer, and Crush 104th: x1ARCO and x1 Wolfpack XO Wolfpack: Dash-29 Why should you become a Battalion Commander?: Clorox has given the next BCMD an opportunity to bring this battalion to the top of the server. However, I feel there are some parts of the battalion that need work/revamps. In my personal opinion I feel as I would be the perfect choice to continue what Clorox has started. With the use of my past experience as a commander in Doom’s Unit, I will be able to push past any hurdles or obstacles that arise during my time as BCMD. I have been reaching out to other BCMDs building relations with other battalions in the server to help prevent any hurdles. Availability: Mon-Fri: 4 pm - 12 am EST Sun: 3 pm - 12 am EST Estimate of how long you've played on Synergy Roleplay?: I've been on the server since late 2019 on and off totaling around 2,861 hours. Do you have a microphone?: Yes Where do you want your battalion to be at the end of your term?: Officers Currently, I feel officers aren’t held to the standard that is expected. The quota of 4 large entertainments isn’t always filled and nothing comes of it. If I become Wolffe I will ensure that officers live up to the standard that is set for them by introducing a strike system if they do not fill the quota. As of right now, there is no clear process in choosing a WO. We have a discord channel that has a “watchlist” but I feel it is ignored and not used 100%. I want to implement a system where before they become an officer they must go through an evaluation period where all officers will see how the NCO does. We will then discuss and decide during the bi-weekly meeting if they should be WO or not. Right now, we do not have set meetings for the officer core. I want to have bi-weekly meeting with the officer core. We will ensure we take accurate notes to look back on them. If someone can't make it they will have a chance before the meeting to write their personal notes This will help build communication between high command and the officer core. To ensure that the entire battalion is aware and updated on any monthly battalion info using the notes from the officer meetings there will be a Monthly State of the Battalion announcement that will include all of the monthly battalion stats, any open positions within the battalion, the trooper of the month, and more. NCOs At this current moment, the NCOs have no reason in doing trainings or recruitments other than rank requirements. I want to implement a system to reward activity in the NCO core by introducing trooper of the week and trooper of the month, those who get trooper of the week can be nominated for trooper of the month and earn additional rewards. Intel Revamp Sadly, most intel members are actually afraid of touching anything on the roster as they fear they might break something on it. I would like to simplify the logging process and increase redundancy. I would like to introduce adding NCOs to the intel team as another way for them to show commitment to the battalion and bypass certain promotion requirements. Intel work could also factor into getting trooper of the week/month. I also feel that the current documents we use are outdated and one of the first things I will be working on is getting these updated. Sub Units Personally, I feel both Wolfpack and Dire Squad are kind of under utilized. I feel like Wolfpack is just guys with jetpacks! I want them to be an advanced insertions squad or something along the lines of being more of a HALO team that is dropped behind enemy lines. Dire Squad has a lot of potential and can become something very intriguing. I want them to be used as a shock squad, a team that hits enemies weak spots. Just like every other 104th, I want them to have their own models, making their kit more CQB based with a shotgun instead of the DP-20 and buff their armor. Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?: Yes Do you understand that your position has a three month term limit and you must reapply after three months to maintain your commander rank?: Yes

  17. Steam Name: Twistedcolt2 RP Name:Wildfire [lore], Juggernaut RP Rank: Major SteamID: 76561198822955435 STEAM_0:1:431344853 Battalion you are applying for: 104th BCMD Wolffe Experience: TR 104th ARCL 104th REGL 104th Wildfire I came to this server back in October of 2023 mainly just to pester my good friend Rizzo but then I found a place in the 104th and have built friendships and brotherhoods. I never expected to have and it has changed me for the better. Clorox said it best our battalion is like herding a group of cats and I love the Chaos we have behind RP doors making me proud to say I would be honored to lead this next chapter of the 104th’s destiny. When I joined the 104th, the battalion was a small group of active people and a lot of missing people from the ranks and Officer Core. I along with a few others jumped into action hoping to revitalize the battalion because of friends we made upon joining and worked our way up through the ranks and branches, I myself started as a Heavy and after failing my first tryout of Selections clawed my way through the second try to become the next ARCL of our battalion. I worked my way to Wildfire of Diresquad and eventually REGL by the belief of my superiors that I could help our battalion. My time as REGL has given me lots of time to think about what it is like in a commanding position, it also has given me plenty of insight on what it takes to juggle splitting my time up between other branches in-order to help keep this battalion running smoothly. As Wildfire I have devoted a lot of time to showing that Dire Squad is active, on the frontlines and willing to bleed in the trenches with our fellow 104th. I went from being the crayon munching heavy who dives head first into the fray, to the level headed think before I put my medics in harm's way trooper I am today. I as Wildfire have learned how to properly command and give orders while still maintaining that moniker of Friend, something that can be quite difficult to figure out for those that lead. I've treasured my time as Wildfire, it's been a riot to run this tenure as my first ever lore character, Now its time for me to take the next step in my journey and step into the next Role I want to play. Why you should become a Battalion Commander?: I am 104th to the core and it makes me smile when I see a legion of gray lined up in debrief so I pledge to keep that going. 104th has some of the best tank operators I've seen on this server, and I wish to push that even further. I also believe that this battalion is a literal band of brothers, the bonds we share are nigh unbreakable. Yes we can have our spats or disagreements but in the end it is still a brother on the other end of the table so we find a way to agree on common ground. The laughter that I share in the Teamspeak with them is genuine, it honestly makes me feel like a father watching over them all as they have a good time. We also (mostly and that's something I plan to work on) know when it is time to get serious and kick some droid ass. We have a lovely CSR and I feel like it would be a great place to devise an obstacle course to push our tank control beyond simply being the slow beast of war and into an agile Machine of destruction. One thing that might help my boys is a few battle comms heavy sims, including but not limited to Hostage rescue, Minesweeping, and tactical tank warfare. I also hope to find a way to healthily segue into a combat scenario mindset from being the little prank and jokesters my boys are. Finally I want to work even closer with our mechanized brothers. We have strong bonds with them currently and I want to keep making them stronger with more Mech reg trainings. So the next time the server sees a convoy of heavy metal death breaking through battalions of droids just remember It's cause my boys are leading the charge. Availability: Sunday-Thursday 10AM- 12PM Friday-Saturday 6PM-12PM Discord availability is about the same Estimate of how long you’ve played on Synergy roleplay: I started playing on synergy 10/24/2023 Do you have a microphone?: yes Where do you want your battalion to be at the end of your term?: I will attempt to be as active as possible as BCMD. Dire squad will be synonymous with wolfpack when mentioning the 104th, if Wolfpack is our fangs then diresquad is our claws. Time Zones are a big issue as well so I plan to find a proper middle ground of when you can see us have large activity throughout the day and not just here and there. Another issue we have is bouts of burnout, specifically when it comes to trying for BOTM we are not exactly the biggest battalion. That said a lot of that falls onto our NCO’s and when the same group of 5-10 guys keep trucking out trainings it can cause a bit of brain block. So scheduled trainings to divide the strain is something I believe would help ease that issue. Officers The officers are in a healthy position of activity. From WO to CMD the officers are available, active and doing their jobs. As a BCMD I will continue to encourage this level of activity. I would like however to try and find a proper schedule to host officer meetings every week to brainstorm ways to improve our NCO rate. NCOs The NCO core could use some work to revitalize its numbers. We have plenty of NCOs but after the recent addition of extra ranks I’ve noticed that there is a large case of burnout that occurs amongst them so I'd like to have a sit down with them and find a way to improve that. Perhaps some kind of reward for scheduled trainings or hours of activity. Enlisted The enlisted are in good positions at the moment we have a healthy influx of them. I plan to keep that going as BCMD with the recruitment monthly reward. Wolfpack Wolfpack is in a great spot; Comet and Dash-29 have done a fantastic job running it. They did have a stale period a while back due to some inactive members being on IRL Deployments. We are at this stage looking for a new Mortar and have 2 decent candidates. All in all Wolfpack is in healthy condition and I feel I can trust Comet to keep it running smoothly. I would like to implement more aggressive tactics with wolfpack, more often than not I see them taking to the high ground and sniping, which is fine I just would like to see them not viewing when jetpacks are banned as a weakness. Dire Squad Dire squad is likewise in a great spot however should I be promoted they will be looking for a new Wildfire and we are still missing a new Tracer. I will continue to assist them as much as I can, especially in Finding a new me/Wildfire, and finally getting my boys and Jedi their models. Dire squad may not be as fancy as the jetpack wielding Wolfpack but that doesn't keep us from being Important to the battalion. Regiments HVY: Heavy is in a good spot, Heavy ordnance is full and the heavy leadership is filled out with competent and determined individuals. Like with all the regiments I expect to have common trainings and encounters to build them into their identity. Examples being B & C, King of the hill style defenses and tactical demolitions. ARF: ARF could use some work, I intend to work with the REGL and ARFL/Os to bolster their numbers as well as build some ARF specific entertainments and training. I also want to ensure the ARF leadership is filled in with the right people. Playing right up the ARF ally for trainings would be things like assassination, stake-outs and stealth infiltrations SUP: Support is still struggling but with our Current Jag We have gained a few new Ideas to possibly bolster that. As such I intend to ensure a new pair of SUPO Are named and to work with the training capable battalions to ensure our SUP hopefuls are being given the opportunity to get the trainings they need. I have a few Ideas that might bring Rp back to the SUP branch such as Hot-zone repairs and dogfight tactics MED: Medical is small in numbers but strong in quality. I intend to work with the REGL and current MEDL Spitter to build up more numbers for the branch, and ensure more top quality medics make up the branches numbers. Let's be honest it's hard to find people who are enthusiastic about being medical and when you do you want to make sure they are having fun doing what they love. So I would like to play off of some previous suggestions such as Hot Zone trainings and cybernetic implementation Roleplays. ARC: ARC has been at a healthy level since my time as ARCL/REGL we have only 2 opens, 3 on my promotion out of our total 6 so I will work with My ARCL/ARCO to find new candidates as soon as I can and continue the timed combat trainings to push our troopers beyond. Such as Citadel runs, B & C and just for fun bomb defusal on hostages Jedi: Jedi has been in a revival thanks to our Current Plo Koon. We have several very strong bonds with our Jedi and a fantastic Sha Koon as well. I plan to keep the ball rolling with proper incentives to draw more into our armored shells. A few things I would like to improve is our Jedi’s feeling of integration. I have noticed we have jedi that wont hangout with us in Teamspeak and Id like to find out why and create a solution to make them feel always welcome. Also I would like to devise training that helps my Jedi learn battle placements in a combat zone. Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?:yes Do you understand that your position has a three month term limit and you must reapply after three months to maintain your commander rank?:yes

  18. I had some things come up IRL so Apologies. That said even though you have cast your decision I will still gladly answer your questions. ARC only has one thing that might need improvement and that is its secrecy. But that is not something I have control over that is a Rancor prerogative. Therefor I will continue to up-hold their beliefs as BCMD and continue to show that my ARC troopers though few in numbers are some of the best leaders on the server. That said I will say we do like to time ourselves on how fast we can clear a training therefore my ideas run along the lines of rescuing civvies from timed bombs or clearing a structure within 10 minutes. Another good ARC style event would be giving them their own squad of 104th members and seeing how well they can organize a search and rescue. As for looking for what makes them a good candidate for ARC they pick themselves. There is a special fire that burns in the heart of 104th Troopers a fire of individuality and I like to nurture that. We are all united by that fire and when we step onto the battlefield we combine that fire and set the droids ablaze. When looking at the roster our officers equal less then a 3rd of our total NCO's and even in game our Officer to NCO ratio is 1:3. As I mentioned before Activity is only an issue if you force players to do things. I want too incorporate a healthy level of fun among the requirements. Perhaps more Entertainments during down time would be a good start to help improve. I think a good old scavenger hunt or perhaps more Tank verses tank trainings would be a great start to bump up the fun level Forcing additional things on my troopers would just cause Burnout even faster and that is something every BCMD should avoid. I love my boys and am proud of the work they do everyday in our hearts we are BOTM everyday because of that bond. Quota's would kill the battalion faster then help it. Our requirements are not that difficult and adding a quota system would just add more stress. This is at its heart a Game. Games are meant to be fun and enjoyable with your friends the vast majority of the 104th come here to relax, shoot the shit after a long day, and just hangout like Brothers. In summary I will not add quota and the documents themselves will be worked on by myself and various personal to ensure they evolve with the needs of my troops.

  19. -1. You have stun guns and batons. The range on the staff would be worse than the baton if you wanted to use it for an arrest function. 100 damage on what is essentially a rhino stance lightsaber would be lowkey a stupid OP subunit weapon. Not to mention Especially for a clone with 300 HP who cant get close enough to use it. RP wise you shouldn't even really need this.

RP Name: Prestige Steam ID32: STEAM_0:0:226258206 VIP (Y/N): No Age: 20 Timezone: MST Tell us why you want to be an administrator (6 sentence minimum): To begin my experience staffing both in and out of Garry’s mod is very credible. I have dealt with countless staffing situations both in the game and on Discord/forums so know what it takes to handle certain situations. With this previous experience, I feel I can do a great amount of work for staff. The primary reason I'm interested in becoming a staff member is to assist the synergy community. Helping new individuals learn on the server so we can increase concurrent player count is something I'm very committed to being involved in. Additionally, I would like to be an administrator simply because I have a urge to assist and help individuals. I feel while I'm on the server during downtime it will provide me more to do and a purpose outside of just roleplay. Tell us a little about yourself (3 sentence minimum): Attitude: Attitude is something I take importantly. As a staff member and in life having a good attitude is important and can go a long way. If I'm being honest it makes you look good and also allows what you're representing to look good. I have learned how to effectively conduct a vast variety of sits. If it is a false arrest sit, then I look at both sides with an unbiased view and make sure my decision makes sense. If it is valid I explain to the individual what went wrong. If it is valid I let the person arrested understand what they did wrong and let them know in the future how they can not get arrested for the same reason. If it is a sit that results in a ban, I inform the person of what they did wrong and stay professional through the whole thing. I also have noticed in my time staffing that tone plays a big role. If someone is just asking a question, I tend to go with a friendly tone allowing them to feel comfortable with asking questions. If someone is causing a big issue I go with a more informative and stern tone. Leadership: I have a lot of experience both in the game and in real life. I have worked in positions where I'm managing a team of people in order to meet deadlines and quality production quotas. Furthermore, I lead by example and through my actions. I feel in this position I won't be “power-hungry” and instead will work to set an example for the staff team. Alongside my easygoing personality, I know I will be able to work with the staff team and alongside other server management to achieve success in the server. Team Work: I can work with people fairly easily. Not only has being in a battalion on this server and others allowed for me to expand and broaden my teamwork ability but has also allowed me to understand the meaning of being a team player. If I do get staff this time around I feel as if I can not only work with the staff team well inside and outside of the game. This “Team Player” idea is something that I believe is key for teamwork. Being overbearing is something that I have learned is not effective when it comes to being a part of a team. Contributing your ideas and opinions properly is something I do very efficiently. Overall I'm often described as a kind and well-spoken individual. Alongside my dedication and commitment to the server, I feel my introduction to the staff team is well-suited. Goals: -Eventually, I would like to pursue the GM team on the server contributing to the player experience will cool events and training the server has not seen before. Do you have any previous staff experience? If yes, please elaborate on what you have accomplished: Garry’s Mod: -Previous Super Administrator Apex CWRP -Previous Permanent Administrator Superior Servers -Previous Genesis JVS High Staff Member - Discord/Forum Management: I have done discord management/staffing for servers with over 500k members. On top of this, I have managed communities with 200k concurrent members on different gaming platforms. - Roblox: Although something that is not GMOD related I have contributed to over 3 billion player visits across multiple games. In this, I’m making sure to take in exploiting reports and player reports which I conduct in-game moderation. How many hours of in-game time do you currently have on our Clone Wars server?: I currently have 10 hours on this server. I’m aware this is the weakest point in my application but I do have the commitment and knowledge required to become a staff member. In addition, as I grow with the server I will be able to grow and learn as a staff member making my knowledge and overall commitment to the staff team greater. Furthermore, I feel my past staffing fills in for these possible "gaps" and I understand the server rules.

  28. Yes. We did. a simple CTRL F of the words Dire Squad will show its mention twice at the bottom of the app. The sentence consists of "Dire Squad has a lot of potential and can become something very intriguing. I want them to be used as a shock squad, a team that hits enemies weak spots. Just like every other 104th, I want them to have their own models, making their kit more CQB based with a shotgun instead of the DP-20 and buff their armor." This is a TLDR of "I want them to have models. I want their kit changed to a shotgun" There is no mention of how he plans to go about turning them into a shock squad or precision insertion team. Therefore its not touched on.

  39. Colossal +1 for me. Throughout my time on the server Blazin has always been in Jedi as a person to look up to or to ask for help. Personally when I think of Jedi he is the first person to come to mind. He has been doing fantastic work as a high council member and I can vouch due to shadowing him. All of the current high council are great people but Blazin by FAR deserves this position the most and I whole heartedly believe Jedi will continue to do well and even excel under him as Yoda.

  40. +1 Blazin is a good dude overall and has some great ideas to bring to the Jedi Order. He has also excelled in the Jedi High Council and deserves a shot at Yoda.

  43. I have a question. One of your High Council members by the name of Mystic or Kaster Molin is quite inactive. How do you plan to move on with this? He has been seen very little by the lower echelons. Seriously though +1. Blazin has been a pillar in Jedi for abit now. He is very clearly the success Don’t flunk your interview

  44. +1 It amazes me that balzin still hasnt gotten a applicable position tbh at this point, his influence on the server is obviously something to be seen, he will most likely be a good yoda.

  45. Bad take. At no point should anyone be able to full max 2 skill trees. That's broken as fuck. +1 so long as it doesnt let you fully go down 2 trees. Comboing things like Sentinel and Consular or Shadow and Consular would be busted

  47. Hey Akiva, Obi Wan isn't an applicable position. You can become Obi Wan by putting in work in 212th and then being put up by your BCMD (Misfit) if he thinks you're the right person for the position. Best of luck to you!
