Lore: This mostly to help RC with something they can assist with and play with a battalion so when there are only a few SOBDE on they can enjoy playing with others. We could argue the fact that RC would be assigned to help out specific battalions as needed but I don't think we really need to. Link to comment
Metro Posted July 10, 2018 Report Share Posted July 10, 2018 (edited) This doesn't need to be a thing. No specific "Outreach" system needs to be in place. RC were meant to work in groups of 4. If you don't want to work in small groups don't join RC. (We usually work with other Squads/Null. RC are supposed to be with each other not a full blown Battalion.) Baxter Posted July 10, 2018 Report Share Posted July 10, 2018 Back when I was SOBDE Reg I made it clear that I wasn't going to force anyone to do anything they didn't want to do, but I was more than happy to let people decide if they wanted to go and assist another battalion if they wanted to. Turns out, pretty much none of the RC wanted to do that because it wasn't really part of the character, unless you're talking about Foxtrot I guess. But that might have just been the group of RC that I was in charge of, I don't know how it is now. Link to comment

For example Delta squad assigned to specialised, Foxtrot assigned to attack regiments and whatever the other squad is to recon. Link to comment
