Suggestion:

Using SGT Slick and his five troopers as lore names for a tiny CT Platoon, purely for role play purposes. (it's something different.)

Implementation: 

So, this is where is gets interesting. To start off, we already have the CT job. We can just use the names/platoon purely for role play purposes. Obviously the only CT needed to be ranked would be Slick, and he can only be a Sergeant. To obtain the role as Slick you would need to apply through the forums or google form or other, doesn't matter. But the role won't just be handed to the first CT you see. 

Some rules for the platoon?:

The rest of the squad; Jester, Gus, Punch, Sketch and Chopper, must remain Privates. With maybe a new abbreviation in their names, like "Slicks Platoon SGT Slick", "Slicks Platoon PVT Jester", etc. (Now obviously these roles would be for people who appreciate a role play, and not just a silly rank). None of them can get promoted for any reason what so ever.

Slick, being a somewhat SGT for CT, can NOT order any CT's around except for the five men in his platoon. Meaning that if CT PVT Johnny were to follow the platoon around, Slick could not order Johnny to run away and leave them alone, can only simply ask.

Slick can only be ordered around by CPT+ (obviously can be changed if it's actually accepted. Just we haven't seen any clone rank below CPT in the show interact with them.).

Why am I suggesting this?

Now you may be asking yourself and screaming at your monitor at me saying "Slick's a traitor, he's been arrested!". To that, I say so what? He isn't dead, for one. From what I gather, Colt and Havoc of RANCOR are dead, they're used. All of the Ghost Company are dead except for Waxer, Wooley and Boil. (in our current time at least, as Waxer dies later and the rest of GC have died in phase one). And a lot of Torrent Company members have died during phase one.

And, like I said. This is purely for role play purposes, no new models are needed at all, they can't order anybody around etc.

Well, all I can think of are tryouts, hosted by Slick. Obviously shouldn't be the easiest thing to get into, ie lore on the character, trigger discipline, loyalty courses, roleplay something unique. Whatever Slick chooses.

-1 Slick was arrested (Phase 1) during the The Battle of Christophsis great idea but lore does not back this up maybe try and find another CT squad or his other squad members?

@Max @Egg Yeah I see your concerns but Havoc, Colt are Dead, and Echo is missing in action. Half the 501st/212th lore character names died in phase 1. Yareal Poof was even added to the server for quite some time. There's probably another bunch of characters that are already on the server that died and I can't think of. We've even had a meeting about possibly adding Commander Trauma to run ARF. Basically what I'm trying to say is, is that this server doesn't have a problem with having characters in that died already.

 

Anyways my opinion on this as a tester is +1 (as stated above.) It doesn't really require any development and will bring more roleplay to the server.

Alright, seeing as we are all about Roleplay here, what does it hurt to put a measy little squad of CT’s with names onto the server, technically they’re already there, all it takes is a few /name and then boom.

 

I get that Slick was arrested during Phase I but this server really doesn’t have a problem of breaking stuff like this, and I’m sure this wouldn’t hurt anybody.

 

But keep in mind that if this does come to fruition it better not be another flamethrower squad, and that it shouldn’t be mingy.

+1 I see no harm coming from this, and perhaps it could even help role play as a whole.

The sole argument against is "He was arrested", but by that logic, lets drop half of TC, Ghost Company, and wipe Havoc and Colt. There is a limit between lore-friendly and gameplay, and sometimes you gotta push past that.
