I’m going into my first year of college, majoring in business administration. In my spare time, I game and model, which means I need some juice in whatever machine I get. My priority is battery life and s p e e d.

I have a budget which caps at around 3k. Let me know what y’all think.

I mean I would suggest a MacBook Pro but gaming is pretty weak on that sadly but I love my MacBook and if you’re doing modeling and just work in general it’s a beast of a workhorse. Also battery life is crazy.

quite a few things point me towards a macbook pro. Hoping however I can find something that fits the broader bill with a higher budget

@Guac How portable/max size do you want it to be? Most higher end ones might be quite large and/or heavy. But is there any preferences with that?

carrying around campus, so "relatively" lightweight. Willing to compensate depending on specs

modeling tends to be GPU and CPU intensive correct?

So therefore a laptop with either a new gen or last gen CPU/GPU combo and 32 gigs of RAM sounds ideal

Do you prefer Intel or AMD?
Nvidia or AMD?

Take a look at what i sent you in Discord DMs. It has pretty great reviews and is somewhat customizable. but the combo of an I9 13 series and a 40 series Nvidia GPU seems to be the cheapest and best combo

(i know you've already seen it, if its something a little too much or not enough ill keep digging. It also weighs approx 9 pounds according to the specs)
