A New Senator!

Suggestion:Add a new senator by the name of Halle Burtoni

Implementation:Add a new senator for some fun new RP for the server. Right now we have some of the base senators that were involved in the clone wars, but I think that we could add some new ones like the one I am proposing right now. She is Kaminoan politician and senator in the Galactic Senate. 

Lore: Her main values were that of money. She wanted more clones to be created and more money coming in to her people but most importantly her. This was her main political priority, often putting her at odds with the Loyalist Committee including Padme Amidala. But also she was a key murder suspect of another senator, but was proven innocent by Padme to which the real murder was exposed. She was featured on "Star Wars the Clone Wars" many times. She was a key political influencer of the senate but also in the war as her changes could cause millions of deaths around the galaxy! This would be a fun new class to play as, and I for one am very exited as to what she could bring to the table RP wise.

I would like to be senator, im active everyday and I think im pretty good at RP. But there are many people that could make this class great and be one of the active ones. Thanks for the response.

Actually though Senators are extremely inactive and dont really do anything -1 until senators can be fixed

So you made a suggestion about a branch you arent apart of, that has 1 active person besides palpy, is completely disconnected from your battalion, and is ran by Palpatine? -1 if Korn says yay then there shall be no nay but for now there is a nay

This shit about not active senators pisses me off Im amidala and I get on a least an hour a day and try to do RP.  The RP we gets is rare and uncommon. I am sorry I cant sit In brig every-event for event and the go to your debrief and say your great troopers so You dont think Im "inactive."  Bruh Instead of complaining how bout you try

Either an episode worth of Clone Wars lore or a small amount of episodes. All the remaining senators have many appearances on the show or much more lore to back them up.

We definitely don't need another senator if there's already an issue with activity within the Senate anyways.

Yes he got Korms approval to make this. I was the most active senator and it was fun. Now rose is the most active. Some are on LOA and others are just on their troopers. Mabye if we get active ones it would be better but no one wants to become one because they're not that good at RP as being a senator is 100% RP based.

I feel like most of the comments on this are people -1ing because she looks ugly or that senators or inactive. Also thanks @Foxey for posting that. Also just because there are slots for senators that are not filled and are inactive doesnt mean that we could not add another for RP. I think it could be new and refreshing.

Most people will be hesitant to add another slot to the senators when most of the current slots go unused. That's why. Also, no problem.

While her being an ungly fish head, many reasons as to THIS specific one not working. 

In lore many clones / battalions did not like them having one around off their main planet of kamino was quite rare to see. Having one be on a war torn planet would not make sense. Tbh senators are just tools for GMs to take hostage and try to get something out of us.

SOBDE  did not like the lovely fish people so I don’t see this going over well in any sort of RP scenario.

There is no point if the Senator's we have now are barely active and the one's who do be active barely do much beside walk around for like 5-10 mins then switch jobs  Would just be wasting time adding another Senator

As much as I would like to add a new Senator to the server, I don't particularly think that we need another one.  There's currently what? 5 or so senators not including Mas Amedda or Palpatine?  

Regardless, I don't think she's much worthy of joining us on Anaxes, unless she wanted to inspect the Clones of sort.

That’s the point we are trying to make. You just played yourself, there is no reason for them to be here except for palpy and mas is really pushing it tbh. They shouldn’t and would never be here, we have palpy for GAR  hierarchy that’s it. The others are just there for RP reasons. 

Now like pot and I have said anaxes is a war torn planet with constant attacks. So why would a species that committed  genocide on its own people come to a war torn planet.  With half of the things that happen on base in “ RP scenarios” then they would have us all put down as they did on Kamino.  Along with the fact that a lot of the clones did not like them so it doesn’t make sense to have them added as a senator.

Why would I, I don’t have a problem with the current ones they are tools for the game masters to use if they do decide. I just don’t think we need a new one and was giving specific reasons as to why THIS SPECIFIC one wouldn’t work.

-1 seems really unneeded and would just be a waste of time and resources if what people saying are saying about senators activity is true. IMO senators aren’t that needed that much and only had some purpose when we had BBStine leading the Senate Commandos. SC were a joke but at least they gave senators something.
