  1. I heard a lot of bad things about you when you first came back to DU. I hadn't gotten the chance to meet you yet but everyone said "beware of that dude". I don't know what my expectation was but I figured you were trouble. I was surprised to find that you were a pretty normal guy, and very helpful. You were helpful and active and also displayed maturity when needed and that is why you got commander and that is why you get a +1 from me

  2. Name: Jay

    Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:20057572

    Staff Rank: SA

    Are you VIP?: Yes

    Date: 8/1/2021

Reason for leaving: Started a new full-time job last week and I need to focus on my priorities. My friends originally got me into Synergy and CWRP and I never saw myself doing it long-term.

Farewells: This resignation serves as a staff resignation and a resignation as GH/TR and from the server. I will probably not be on Synergy again unless by accident, it is just something I am moving on from. I will say the GM team is underappreciated and you guys are great. Mitchell, Bacta, Shpack, Shockpoint, Dono even though you resigned, and a few others ran some of the best events I have been to.

  3. Battalion: Doom's Unit

    RP Name: Doom

    Date: 7/20/2021

Reason: Not leaving the server, just stepping down from Doom. I received a job offer about a week ago that has me starting next week. It's full time and a considerable improvement over my current work so I'm taking it seriously. I'll still be on from time to time but I won't be able to maintain the activity expected of a BCMD.

    Goodbyes: Not leaving yet.

  4. Your app is pretty weak. You say what you want to accomplish but you don't explain how you plan on getting there. You also lack the command experience that most people going for the position have.
I've spoken to you about this however and you sound pretty sincere that you would give it your best effort. I think you should have a chance like anyone else.

    +1

  5. Bug Type (Server:): Money ''bug''

    Severity level (1-3): 1

    Evidence (if you can):

    Spoiler

Description of the bug: Havoc Squad members only make 400 when they should be making 450 since they are lore characters.

How can we recreate it: Please don't

Who helped (If applicable): Coal, Ike

Event/Encounter Name: Who let the dogs out

Link to Event/Encounter Document (optional): N/A

Description of event/encounter (required if no document provided): Two dogs were seen running around base and it was later revealed they belonged to an old man who had accidentally let them off the leash. The dogs ran around base, terrorizing the garrison. The dogs were also magical, and although this was apparent, it was not officially revealed or explained due to the dialogue choices that the players made.

  7. I'm rating this off of what the GM had intended and not what actually happened. I know Bacta wanted DU to go to the caves with 501st but that didn't end up happening so some people got frustrated. I'll give it a 8/10.

Edit: I really didn't enjoy combat without perma weapons though. Combat can be quite boring for many people, myself including without them. Just keep this in mind going forward, because you are risking making people bored for the sake of better RP

  8. I played around with this in singleplayer, and it works surprisingly well.

There are a few things I want to give input on:

    1) The mortar system is fairly robust and easily deployable. IMO the damage values could be tweaked to do slightly more damage, and the damage radius could be upped as well. Any HE mortar shell is more than enough to kill a target within a 5~ meter radius, although this is not the case with the default mortar config in the mod. Overall, the rangefinder in the mod works flawlessly paired with the mortar tube and range card and it's pretty enjoyable.

    2) I don't think every ARF or Heavy trooper should have access to it. The system is pretty robust as mentioned so giving it to every Heavy or ARF trooper would be overkill. This is one of those things where you either need to give it to a select group in one battalion or spawn it in for events only (similar to the AV-7).

    3) I don't understand the people saying not to add a training. I understand training can be tedious but you are literally giving someone a tube that shoots explosive shells and asking for them to not be trained. What could go wrong?

Edit: I forgot to add a +1. I like the idea, we just need to think about the right way to implement it

Description of event/encounter (required if no document provided): Two bounty hunters entered Anaxes base with the intention of kidnapping BCMD Fox for a large bounty reward. They attempted multiple ways to get alone with Fox, one way consisted of knocking out two troopers to steal their uniforms but the plan was ultimately foiled in the end, with the Bounty hunters going down in a blaze of glory with the Republic claiming victory over the encounter.

    Event/Encounter Name: Bossk's Big Plan

Description of event/encounter (required if no document provided): Bossk occupied Aurek with plans to attack the local village and subjugate the Wookie population but his plans were quickly foiled when SOBDE arrived before he could begin the raid. After losing at Aurek, he retreated to his Endor base where he once again got bested by the Republic. Bossk left wounded and without a soldier to lead after the Republic cleaned up Endor.
