I'm not the most knowledgeable on this, but from what I've gathered this is what happened: The code that was leaked was from a 2017 build of CS:GO, and was actually leaked in 2018. Valve has already said that current builds of CS:GO and other Source engine games are safe to play. What caused the scare was what Garry Newman said was "obvious fake trolly bullshit" The reason that ourselves and other communities had shutdown temporarily was as a precautionary measure just in case Basically a leak did happen but it was a while ago and is nothing to be worried about and internet trolls just wanted to scare people. I'll leave this open for another day or two in case anyone else wants to cover something I might've missed.

This ban appeal is being DENIED for the following reasons: 1. Your permanent ban was given to you less than two days ago. 2. Your intentions, which you have made blatantly obvious on your twitch account, is not something that would be beneficial to keep in the community. 3. You recently got unbanned from another permanent ban for advertising and have already been banned multiple times. //locked //moved to denied
