Good luck in the position but please don't overstep just because you have the power to do stuff, act reserved and get a feel for the role before you dive head first into the helping others part that you mention in your app.

    If you guys dislike Mas having RCMD perms feel free to either make a suggestion about it or talk with the @ Directorabout possibly changing it.

    Description of event/encounter (required if no document provided): Spec was deployed to lay siege to several enemy compounds within a sector. They utilized orbital bombardments in order to break the rayshields in order to take the facilities and were successful in doing so.

I hop on hoping there’ll be some rancor on, but nope, 1 or 2 usually on consistently for the majority of the day unless someone announces there’s an event or ARC training, that is the only time people actually are on, and I haven’t seen you take any initiative to actually doing something about that, maybe I don’t know, but I’m not just going to take oh were working on it, cause anyone can say that.

    3. So overall battalion standards also dropped and I just see people acting like normal troopers who haven’t been ARC Trained, during events battle comms is a such an issue with everyone talking, I’ve seen non ARCs have better battle comms in my time on the server, as well NCOs kinda just sit there on their rank for weeks and weeks without no punishment for not doing their requirements, it’s usually the same NCOs actually doing something and as well same officers. Trainings, they’re like unknown to NCOs I’m pretty sure cause they can’t really do them if there’s not anyone to do be there.

    4. The lack of leadership is just awful and officers not helping lower ranks is even worse, I see enlisted asking for help all the time but there’s never anyone there for them, Samething in Teamspeak, I’ll hop in for about an hour when there’s not more than 2 or 3 people in TS and some enlisted in there are kind of just lost without having guidance as what they should be doing, so basically what I’m also saying communication within the battalion is shit.

    5. last but not least, behavior, so when I hop in Teamspeak I won’t deny being a dumbass sometimes but I mostly do it in the alpha ARC channel, but the amount of just mingy shit that goes on is more than usual and nothing is usually said about it, which it shouldn’t just be left unnoticed because if it’s left unnoticed than that person will have the mind set of oh look I got away with it so then I’ll be mingy again and keep having that attitude and behavior and the only thing that’s usually done is moving them out of the channel and that’s it, also another thing moving people out of the channel for no reason just to troll them isn’t something you should do, cause it looks bad on you or whoever does it, just cause you have the power to doesn’t mean that you have to abuse it, if you have a good reason to use it go ahead, if not don’t.

    6. So I didn’t even think of this before, but this isn’t just towards you, but to all of HC, but all of your behavior is questionable, some of you are very impulsive to say the least, Pranzer I would say it probably the most mature out of all the HC and I think he should serve as an example to the rest of you, When people are arguing like i said before, some HC are apart of this issue and add onto the issue by yelling too, yelling wont fix anything else than adding onto the noise and continuing it, I would expect y’all to be at the point of where not just you guys but everyone is capable of speaking without yelling, and some of y’all act immature at times.

    also forgot to add that even though yes you’re active, but the thing is, are you even putting that time that you’re active to use, because I’ve hadn’t seen many changes else than Battalion ARC changes and that’s it and as well as dealing with other HC stuff that I just hear about.

    anyways i hope this is readable cause I wrote this with one hand cause I burned my other

    It just isn't special enough to make a space for itself while 501st & 212th are around
    Bacta's idea seems kinda okay but 327th got removed even when DU wasn't on the server

    The battalion cannot live and you fucks needs to give up and go home. 327th is staying gone cause no one wants to see a 4th generations of ex-327th mourning their dead-on-launch battalion
    it's always doomed to fail how man[y times do you really need to see it before we never have to see another one of these posts

    Also this sounds like issues with the leadership of DU not the fundamental function of the battalion.
    quite unlike 327th who failed every time due to the battalions inability to be stand out


    Also this is a clear example of how new project are not the solution to failings battalions.
    We can plaster over our failings with new batts but all it does is delay the face we need to actually work on our current battalions. Make them properly function without need of constant repair.
    Maybe once we do that properly we can consider adding a new battalion

    327th wasn't removed 3 times, it was removed twice. The first time I can't speak about much but the second time had nothing to do with anything you have said.

    It wasn't directly at fault of the battalion, it had more to do with the server environment along with the fact that the founders decided to make a public poll where people got to send who ever they wanted to the gallows, tanking what ever PR battalions had and pretty much dooming them cause no one wanted to join us.
    You say dead on launch yet during the times they had actually good BCMDs they were the most active battalion on the server? Back when Poe was BCMD they regularly were the most populated battalion. This continued until legacy infighting caused things to turn to shit. Cannon (the banned one) probably was the single reason why the battalion would end up being removed. The amount of issues he cause for the battalion was so damn high, from trying to get tripolli removed to trying to block people from getting leadership positions who could of helped the battalion. While yes the 327th HC should of removed all of them from the discord, the Directors should of stepped in eventually to remove that problem.

    We had a steady presence throughout the entire time we were on the sever, of course we became inactive at times but every battalion's activity ebbs and flows. You're judging your perception of 327th based off of the tail end, which saw the reduced activity, but you also ignore the fact that we were turning things around by the time we got removed with us having 15 active members who would be on throughout the day, not crazy numbers but still was a solid core of people.


    The only thing I can somewhat agree with is that we do need to stabilize the current battalions before we add more to the server.

  18. Battalion Vs Battalion [BvB]

    IMO PVP oriented BVBs only brings toxicity to the server, if we do bring them back (which there are some ideas for) it would require us to come up with fun activities that people can enjoy that isn't sweaty GMOD gunfights.

    Ultimately, it comes down to certain groups having a much higher competitiveness to the point where it becomes a detriment to others on the server who just want to have fun. If we do PVP stuff I'd just kick people out of the tournament that are turning things toxic or keep things alot more low key instead of trying to hype it up into this big thing that people need to win so they can brag to everyone that they won a SWRP PVP tournament.

    Love em to death but they need a real purpose besides being yet another Attack Battalion. Plus we have plenty battalions as is. 

    All battalions on this server are the same.
    With standardization no single battalion has anything unique outside of what vehicles they might train for, sub units, and lore characters.
    The expectations are 21st cause of ship boarding, and Grey RC cause they are RC.
