  1. +1 Although it saddens me Repent is off the grid, I was pleasantly surprised to see you ran for it. Do us proud, Shakes.
  2. Update: I checked his channel. He's been doing this long before I knew him, since the days of the 101st in fact.
  3. RP Name: CG Captain Ratio Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:54192568 Suspected Player's Name: Darkth (HeyWatchYourMouth) Suspected Player's Steam ID (If applicable): STEAM_0:1:119018656 Rule Suspected Player Broke: MRDM/Malicious Activity Explain to us what happened: Oh boy here we go. So the player in this report is a decently famous YouTuber with around 200k subs. My first encounter with him has been a while, but each time I have, I believe that he's managed to get himself arrested up to the 4+ limit. He became a known minge and we just left it at that, as he would never even make it past CC training before getting temporarily banned. However, last night he managed to get through it with about 14 other CCs. This is what drove me to make this report. While the CTs themselves didn't do anything minor, they eventually all went to second floor lobby and started shooting it up (some even shooting at each other?) We managed to arrest them all, but the streamer left immediately after, causing everyone else to leave as well. While this was happening, we were watching the stream and a link to the recording will be provided as evidence. (hopefully he hasn't deleted it) Most of the juicy stuff happens at the end. 4. When it comes to debrief, people saying PTS is active is said multiple times. There are many opportunities for a CT to see it. Once when going in the room (there's literally a sign there), once when the Naval holding it says "PTS is active, break it and CG breaks you", and another time when a CG hits his "PTS is active" bind. There's three warnings right off the bat. And if we decide to be lenient and whisper to them, four. At what point is it just density and at what point is it ignorance?
  5. I guess I should try to say something since you're attempting to open a dialogue about CG. Firstly, I'm glad you're doing this because every post about this topic so far has been dealt with containing high levels of childishness on both parties (as much as I'd hate to admit it, myself included.). I had assumed that you joined CG on the grounds that you wanted to see what went through our heads, wanted to hear what we talked about, and how we felt about certain situations on the server. However, I think your time in CG just wasn't long enough for you understand things from our perspective. You have to look at it from our eyes; every single day we get ridiculed for doing our jobs (a lot more lately with this outright harassment/hate speech towards our battalion). We're told to ignore this abuse, and not everyone in CG is infallable to consequences of this. It seems easy from an objective point of view to say that we just randomly arrest without warning. But you have to keep in mind that every arrest is subjective (which you seem to understand given that you believe everyone should get a second chance). Some people do the same thing over and over again and expect the procedure of warning only to continue to do it later on. Some people just get arrested for the fuck of it, and the most common groups that do this ARE the CTs and the CCs. Bad behavior is easy to come from these groups because it presents little effort for the person doing it that involves joining a battalion. Yes, CTs are technically profiled. But this label is here for a reason. Truth be told, the average CG will always have their guard up around white armor, and that's probably never going to change. What I think should honestly happen at this point is to let this "feud" simmer for a while. The whole cutie thing has been handled by High Command and staff, and I think at this point we need to move on and let these wounds mend. CG will never stop being ridiculed, even if we all lose our batons. As much as people agree that change should be made, this fire has been going on for so long that it's causing people to be targetted for harassment, which is NOT okay. Tl;dr - Let us do our jobs. Allow us to be your allies rather than your enemies. We're all part of the same community here.
  6. @Dill While what you said is definitely worth considering, you have to consider that doing these types of things makes keeping the peace a lot harder than it needs to be. We shouldn't have to be called to fix something that was caused by you. For example, while flamethrowers aren't "illegal" (for lack of a better term), we had almost instantly gotten a report of someone setting 2nd Floor Lobby on fire. While others could argue that it wasn't you that did this, you still enabled it. Like it or not. But while the weapons shop was the bulk of the report, the primary motivator for this was the unbanning and unarresting of the trooper. You didn't bother to talk to the CG about why he got arrested, like many admins would. When the trooper was arrested for ERP, it was an AOS. CG don't TALK to people when there's an AOS on them. They carry out the arrest, put out the AR, and fill out the form. The way you carried out the punishment for him (false or not) was completely unprofessional, because, again, you didn't talk to anyone. You just teleported him out without saying a word. The same pretty much goes with the ban. There was no discussion about it, you just unbanned him. You completely undermined what the admin was trying to do when it was an issue that should have been taken to the ban appeals. As for CG not telling you that things were getting out of hand, you know your rules and how to uphold them. CG shouldn't have to tell you when you go too far because, as an Owner, you should know your own boundaries and why this would probably make it hard on them. As for your edit, from what I understand, ERP is an instant ban without warning. Perhaps the admin was doing what he thought was right. The same can be said for you, sure, but if an AOS is called, I imagine the least you can do is respect it and give staff a chance to investigate the matter rather than instantly acting on it out of your own volition and (once again) undermining both the admin and the CG. EDIT: Another reason CG probably wouldn't approach you is because of your status on the server. The newer ones would be intimidated while the more seasoned ones let you get away with it because it's "not worth the trouble".
  7. "No offence but..." *proceeds to insult like a fifth grader*
  8. For some reason, everyone thinks it's just an attack on Exalted (with the "cute" memes or whatever). This is not what this is about, it's about undermining a staff member who was doing his job. What BigZach said about the ban appeal thing is actally something I agree with. That's probably how it should have been handled rather than the ban just being instantly removed because Dill liked him. Instead, it's bled into this thread because we could never get to that point. I'm not at all trying to get Exalted banned again, but to bring this to the attention of the higher ups so it doesn't happen in the future. We're also ignoring the fact that he also let him out of the cell without any discussion.
  9. Probably not. I don't expect much to be done about this, but you have to look at this from our perspective. We're trying to uphold the rules and he was actively allowing people to break them. It's one thing if it's just him, but another when others get involved.
  10. I understand "entertaining" us, but he's done everything to make our job harder as explained. And because you replied in the way you did, my guess is that you didn't even read the post. He outright unbanned someone who broke a server rule. Why do we need to turn a blind eye to that?
  11. RP Name: CG 1stLT Ratio SteamID: STEAM_0:0:54192568 Staff Member I am Reporting: General Dill Staff Member's Wrong-Doing: Minging, Falsely Unbanning, Letting people out of cells Explanation of Situation: Dill was hosting some strange dupe in which he was "selling weapons" for a set amount of credits. While they were not perma-weapons, they did cause trouble within the server. For example, Dill was selling lightsaber rifles and I heard talk of also selling arrest batons. He had two other troopers "working" at this shop. One of which was arrested for ERP (kissing troopers) by another CG. It caused a member of High Command (I believe it was Rider) to make an announcement that it was a bannable offense. I was in brig at the time and saw an admin fly by and let the arrested Trooper out by teleporting and unarresting him. However, the biggest reason why I'm making this report is because a staff member had banned this person for six hours and Dill unbanned him a bit later just with the reason "why" despite the ban itself being legitimate. I understand that Dill has "owner" status, but this should be considered unacceptable. It isn't the first time he's done something like this, either. For a example, another situation happened where he spawned himself lightsabers (FailRP as a clone) and abused Force abilities to avoid arrest. If he's going to act like this, then I believe something should be done or someone should at least talk to him about it. Other members of CG were upset from this whole situation as well, as it just makes our job harder when he does this.
  12. +1 Keeps the Jedi in line when he can, but should probably be less inactive.
  13. +1 Best man for the job. Don't want to see any other Wolffe.
  14. PHAT +1 When Panzer put in his application for Spec. Reg, I knew he was going to get it, and once he had finally ascended to high command, I think I can speak for everyone in the Coruscant Guard that Repent is the PERFECT candidate for the future of this battalion. He's the rare breed of human being that's hard on people, yet somehow finds a way to be respectable. This man knows his boundaries, how to run the server, and most importantly, how to lead. Even if some don't see eye-to-eye with him, I think even they would +1 the hell out of this.

RP Name: CG ARC 1SG Jek [Ratio] Steam ID: STEAM_1:0:54192568 Date of Ban: 6/30/2018 Length of Ban: Three Days Offense: "Racism/Disrespect/L2AP" Banned By: Rackarain Why should we unban you/shorten the ban period?: The offense stated was something I didn't do. The ban itself was a mistake on the staff's part when trying to ban a person that I had arrested. This post is just to make sure anyone who can help sees this. Evidence to support your claims: The high staff is aware of the situation, but was unable to unban me at the time. I'm supposing it's either a server issue or a copy/paste issue. But the steamid is provided in this report, so hopefully that will help.
  17. Name: 501st Ratio Suggestion: Increasing reserve ammo on Medic job. When spawning, Medics ALWAYS start out with 100 clip size (DC-15A) 40 (DC-15S) and only 10 in reserve. This is exclusive to 501st, but in general, everyone tends to have very low reserves, forcing them to purchase ammo in the middle of combat or wasting credits if they die before they can. Implementation: Probably as easy as increasing a number in a config file. Lore: N/A Add or Change: Change Job: Medic (ALL batt.) Model: N/A Weapons: N/A Other: N/A
