  1. Stop downloading shady stuff on your main computer.
  2. -1 The new color is much more immersive and true to form.
  3. I'll address this in a different way then, seeing as you clearly need to get off the high horse. The report is on you revoking LOA's for a set of reasons. I never said that you had no right to do so, but that you were in the wrong for doing so in the way that you did it. Reading the report and the comments, you were made out to have done this action due to a heated argument in game. From that argument, you decided to revoke most of your battalions LOAs because you were angry. You clearly misunderstood what I meant. I'll give you an example in real life examples that have happened recently. During the United States shutdown, federal contractors were excluded in back pay by the congress shutdown deal. In the future, it's more than likely that these contractors would look elsewhere for work, in a more reliable place of work. You can argue that they'd stay in the job so that they can afford to live, but if I were in that position, I would be actively looking for a more stable job given the administration. Keeping in mind that this is a game, there's even less incentive to stay within your train wreck of a battalion. I've seen a lot of toxicity from you when it comes to how you run things, and frankly it's a garbage way of presenting yourself. You didn't read into what I say and take it for criticism, but rather as an insult. That being said, Be assured that it wasn't an insult then, and I won't stoop down and join you on the ground. I would hope you actually try and fix things the right way, with the consequences likely equaling out to another report with proper evidence of your lack of leadership and/or your inability to maintain numbers in your battalion. (Albeit one could argue that you already are failing to maintain numbers, seeing as your current actions are directly involved with trying to "Improve" activity within your battalion.)
  4. See, there are two things about this report that need to be addressed. 1. Putting up a commander report as fast as this one was thrown up is a bad way to go. You should have gone through the chain of command to get it resolved before you decided to try and remove Logic from his position. 2. Logic, even as a BCMD you are in the wrong for trying to force people to play in your battalion. You've once again proven that people take this shit too seriously. Your job is to facilitate a group of people and all the things that come with it, not force people to play on a job. If people are burning out, trying to force them to play is only going to make it worse for those people. This is Gmod, not the military. I don't see how you thought doing this was in anyway shape or form the appropriate response to someone playing on another job, but you should know the basics of leadership if you're in a position of leadership. Incentive's are the way to go, and instead of forcing people onto the job, you should be focused on your recruitment numbers. Bring new people in by making your group fun for them. Sounds like you're in a numbers slump, but the only way to get out of it is to bring new people in and flesh them out into the battalion. -1 for the hasty report, but the CoC should look into the actions of Logic and work out a better way to facilitate the battalion.
  5. I don't even have to read this to know that it is fairly accurate. +1

    joah is gay

    Highly accurate statement.
  7. Yo man, all these retards have it wrong. If you're already interested in men, which it looks like from the fact that the person is ftm, you have even less to worry about. It all comes down to what matters to you. Do you mind the change or can you look past it. Retards will be retards and are undependable.
  8. Terrible choreography. At least three people are hidden and they're the real chads.

    Advice?

I will refer you to the bible. The only place for life advice that is credible.
  10. Don't make cringe posts on the forums. (Kidding slightly.) Best way to improve yourselves is to do more on the part of conditioning the people coming into the sith order to act a certain way. I.e. instilling RP and the like. Another thing that you shouldn't be afraid to do is work with the jedi leadership outside of the RP scope on relations between yourselves. Seems like more of a competition of who is better than who rather than working together to make sure everyone gets some enjoyment out of playing together. If you don't already have some gamemasters within the sith order, try and get in touch with some. From what I could tell playing on the server a couple of days ago was that PVP is huge within the server, and you can structure events with a real win lose ratio. Try things like monthly conquest event chains in which the jedi and sith orders work towards a singular goal. For example, you could introduce the idea of a lost temple of neutral force-connected lads that died out, and their location was lost. Then you just put together a way of finding that data out and pit the sith and jedi against each other on the event server to see who can ultimately figure out the location and get whatever is in there for their temple. With the idea above, you could assign monthly buffs for the order that wins in order to promote roleplay and playing on those classes. Such as an increase in pay for a month or something of the sort. This is the sort of thing that supersedes what you as a lord can do but it is an idea you can take to Zim or the Directors and goes both ways, jedi and sith, to give the branches of jobs something to work towards, as well as promoting growth within it, such as getting new masters and lords and whatnot.
  11. The prerequisite to understanding this letter is to have encountered some of Lady Lil TayTay's propositions and to have realized how perfidious they are. As is customary for a letter of this sort, I will now offer up paper and ink anent the phylogeny of Lady TayTay's jackbooted editorials in order to make the point that Lady TayTay's confrontational squibs serve always to distract the public councils and enfeeble the public administration. They agitate the community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms, kindle the animosity of one part against another, and foment occasionally riot and insurrection. As if those characteristics weren't bad enough, Lady TayTay's squibs also prevent the community from hearing that each time we see Lady TayTay bombard us with an endless array of hate literature, we should realize that keeping the victims of her actions in our thoughts and prayers is not enough. It does not capture the heartache and grief and anger that we should feel. It does nothing to prevent Lady TayTay from inflicting the same horror someplace else. That's why I tell people that Lady TayTay is typical of culturally insensitive balloon heads in her wild invocations to the irrational, the magic, and the fantastic to dramatize her commentaries. I personally plan to call for proper disciplinary action against Lady TayTay and her protégés. Are you with me—or against me? Whatever you decide, most people would agree that Lady TayTay is allergic to any idea that isn't petulant. But once you've admitted that, you've admitted that the evidence for this lies in the underlying assumptions behind her catch-phrases. And it follows inexorably that, except in special cases, Lady TayTay's principles have an unsavory historical track record. Every time I strike that note, which I guess I do a lot, I hear from people calling me fiendish or shrewish. Here's my answer: Lady TayTay criticizes me for building bridges instead of walls. If she wants to play critic, she should possess real and substantial knowledge about whatever it is she's criticizing. She shouldn't simply assume that her cop-outs are Right with a capital R. Plan to join Lady TayTay's camp? Be sure to check your conscience at the door. I must protest Lady TayTay's use of prissy Xanthippes to achieve her merciless goals. That being the case, we can infer that most people react to Lady TayTay's inaniloquent, polyloquent fusillades as they would to having a pile of steaming pig manure dumped on their doorstep. Even when they can cope, they resent having to do so. Speaking of resentment, Lady TayTay's campaigns of demagoguery and disinformation have nothing to do with freedom and honor but everything to do with extremism. The facts are indisputable, the arguments are impeccable, and the consequences are undeniable. So why does Lady TayTay maintain that the government (and perhaps she herself) should have sweeping powers to arrest and hold people indefinitely on flimsy grounds? We already have our answer: As a respected journalist put it, “Lady TayTay's maneuvers utilize a plenitude of dramatic and unnecessarily grandiose language and, for the most part, say a whole lot of nothing.” He probably could have added that if Lady TayTay wanted to, she could shove the nation towards jingoism. She could impose a particular curriculum, vision of history, and method of pedagogy on our school systems. And she could provoke violence and religious extremism. We must truly not allow Lady TayTay to do any of these. I'm not afraid of Lady TayTay. However, I am concerned that she was once confronted by someone who wanted to challenge elitism and thereby create the possibility of justice and fairness in our society. She responded by eroticizing relations of dominance and subordination. Such a disproportionate response suggests a psyche in action, the mindset of a person who has nursed resentments for many years within the artificial haven of a homogeneous band of rummy, smarmy parvenues. Until we address this issue, we will never move beyond it.
  12. -1 I'll be completely honest, the obvious over view here is that the original statement on the position was that SOBDE members would get their foot in the door before the community could try and jump the position, (I know Joah waived you, but it made more sense when you were among the many people excluded.) My main problem is this, you aren't part of the regiment. It's not too much different from a battalion, outside of being a lot harder to join, but it's also not your typical RC squad. It's going to be harder to run and overall something that should be given to someone with more experience in leadership. I don't know you personally, and I don't think I have ever spoken to you in any capacity, but I think you should sit out the hunter applications and work more towards joining the squad as a whole. You obviously want to help out the squad in terms of starting it, but you might be better put as a squad member.
  13. -1 Stated above by Carter. If you haven't changed you don't really need to come back.

    Mikes Ban Appeal

+1 Mike is a very particular type of person, and I get the negative views on the subject of allowing him to come back, but at the same time I get the positives. (The real positive feedback by the way.) Shit sucks and the thing most people are failing to understand about the situation is that Mike is a retard kid doing retard things on the internet. I'm not saying kiss and make up just like that, but in comparison to some other people appealing who are fully grown adults taking the game too seriously to the point of obsession is the opposite of what the case is here. Clearly the 'jokes' or racism and other offenses, (The jokes against suicide, etc.) are from a lack of taking responsibility for what he says and does while he is online. It's easier for someone to grow into understanding than it is to grow out of an obsession. Therefore, I think Mike should be pardoned of his ban under the understanding of a few guidelines. These guidelines could be, for example: Another month ban on his forum account, in which time he can play on the server and work on his own image by helping out/playing with the newer players that can then form their own opinion of his character and the changes he has stated he has gone through. Strict rules on teamspeak, such as monitoring his use of the soundboard that was a big issue with him before his ban, as well as his interactions with other people in the server. The usual monitoring while online. (When I say this, I don't mean staff harassing him, which happens consistently whenever anyone gets unbanned from anything. I think the monitoring should go both ways, against Mike and for Mike, making sure others aren't trying to provoke him into altercations.)
  15. Fat yikes in chat boys. For real though, Looking at the Patrick situation, regardless of who is at fault for what, he can't be blamed for more than half the issues Patrick was facing. Not me personally, but those close to me have had those sorts of tendencies and if it isn't going to be one thing it's going to be something else. Like Joah said though, the Patrick thing is minuet in comparison to the way that he acted after his removal and current activity within the community forums. Seems like the appeal is being made not because he cares about playing here, but because he can make one again. I see the best outcome here is to just move on. It's SWRP and nothing worth more than the dirt on the ground when you look at it for what it is. Seems like everyone on both side forgets that this is a game. Myself included, it's easy to forget that it is just a game and nothing serious at all. (Not meaning to shit on the community as a whole, pretty cool guys all around.) Lastly, for a contrast against this ban. I was banned permanently July 11th, (Only know it because the date I went to basic is July 12th you memes.) for toxicity. I won't deny my own fault in how I ended up with the ban, but nor did I really do any retarded clap backs against anyone or try and cause harm to the community. Hell, I didn't even ask to be unbanned, because even after I was able to log in again did I really care about it. -1. The best second chance is keeping the option off the table.
