Varius Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 RP Name: Merek Steam ID:76561198027673577 Staff member you are reporting: Berry Staff Members Steam ID (If applicable): Was not able to grab before he went offline Staff Members Wrong-Doing: threatening me with arrest after helping CR Explain the situation: Went into training room to get the Teamspeak details. I saw a CR was moving around there, said hi to him, he said he had no idea what he was doing. I asked in OOC for a trainer to help him. i then jokingly said "If only an admin was on to train this CR" since he was online a while, and there were several admins on. after that, 3 or so admins showed. so i left. i then went to the CT barracks, where Berry confronted me, saying i shouldnt be in the training room. that pissed me off, so i said i was helping a CR get trained. he said that doesn't matter, he then escalated a verbal altercation to the point where he said "I could have you arrested for insubordination" im just wondering. Why Synergy Admins are threatening arrest towards people that are helping new people, not only to synergy, but to GMOD, get trained? are CR's and new players not what keeps the server ongoing? is this a policy or training of Admins in synergy, to arrest anyone that helps a new player get into playing on the server? There is no sign on the door stating the training room is restricted, but interrupting or disturbing training can result in a warning and then an arrest. If you are alerting staff to a CC and then leave without any trouble, then yes, this is a bad look for staff. Are you 100% sure it was a guy named Berry? Are you thinking of someone else with a similar name, like Jerry? It also might help if you could recall the two other staff members who were with him. This will help VA+ when they do look into this.
