This PC look good?

No, that PC is total shit. This is far better and fits your price range but has no operating system. If you are absolutely opposed to building, the Amazon link below will be your option. If you can build, https://pcpartpicker.com/list/dqBBtg will be LEAGUES above what's below. Will still need an OS though, however, who doesn't pirate Windows nowadays?

Thanks, I don’t know how to build so I’ll go with Amazon. How would I go about installing operating system? I’m also looking at this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0722XX6KX/ref=psdcmw_428651031_t1_B00AU4LP0U

Trust me Ike, building is pretty much like legos. Just watch it on youtube step by step and you'll turn out fine. I went from having no clue about building PCs to having built my own in like 3-4 hours.

What Jax said. You're seriously screwing yourself by buying the Amazon PC over building. Otherwise, if you're not afraid of a little "lack" of ethics, installing and activating windows is very easy. You need an 8GB USB drive though.

I swallowed a Lego when I was 5

FX-6300 will bottleneck the hell out of a 1060.

a 4.1ghz CPU will bottleneck a 1060?

I have an i3 3.4ghz with a 1060 and theres hardly any noticeable bottlenecking

If you have a series 6000 or higher i3, that i3 is leagues better than the FX-6300. Clock speed isn't everything. My 3.8GHz would absolutely trash a 4.2GHz FX-6300. I know this as someone who has been using AMD CPUs since the Athlon all the way up to Ryzen. I used to rock the 6300.

Clock speed can be compared to RPMs. It's just the number of cycles per second. By your logic, a small car pushing 5000 RPM is more powerful than a truck pushing 3000 RPM. CPU speed is no longer dictated solely by how many cycles per second can be achieved, but by how much can be processed in each cycle.

Fair enough I've never used AMD CPUs so I wouldn't know. Just know to keep away from anything AMD lmao

Most pre-built gaming PC gamings are garbage from either outdated parts or so pricey because brand-name.   I fix/build PCs on the side and I've never once recommended someone to buy a pre-built.     Building your own will last you for a long time and you can take pride that you built it.   Like the others are saying,  It's not hard building them and there are videos/guides out there that will help you.  :)

I do recommend the build Fizzik posted.   My only complaint is that there isn't a SSD for Windows but that's just me!   AMD CPUs have come a looooooong way and Ryzen such a great line-up.

if you do build one:   Do be sure to buy an anti-static wristband.   Don't sit and build on carpet.  Trust me.

While that was true during the FX lineup, the upcoming mid-tier Ryzen has been proven to beat the i9. AMD is a better option than Intel for gaming and high-level computing nowadays.
