  2. Gaming & Tech has been archived, and "Serious Topics" has been created. Please review the "Community Rules and Guidelines" for rule additions to the section before posting.
  3. “Don’t need to say” is that the actual ban reason o.o
  4. I don't mind this suggestion at all, even though I think it's use would be incredibly limited this day and age. I'd be interested to see what you'd imagine rules for that sort of section would look like, or if the emphasis would be on moderator discretion. I'll be candid here. My moderation has been incredibly lax as time has gone on. As the community has become more disconnected to the forums, so has their care for following the rules. Once it got to the point of VA's, HA's, and Directors not following them, I decided to just step back unless it was a serious violation. It seemed to me that top down, no one really cared anymore and my actions would only be viewed as a nuisance, not as protecting good conversations. Also, while it might look like that, there has been plenty of edits to the community rules and guidelines since 2021, the edit history is just hidden.
  5. I lock if someone higher than me asks, if a post had a purpose and it was fufilled (qna, application, suggestion, etc.), if 50%+ of a reply section is repeatedly breaking some rule that I feel like individually moderating won't do anything and there isn't a value to leaving it unlocked. Generally, my criteria is specific to the forum rules not community relations, meaning that for others it may not be as strict. That being said, I cannot remember the last post I locked that didn't fall into the 2nd category. That ALSO being said, Finn would kill for my power + lack of engagement, don't let him tell you otherwise.
  6. I wasn’t involved with the decision process, that question is better suited towards our dev leadership. I stepped in for model related things I found interesting cause we had a modeler leave who’d originally accepted those suggestions. That’s why many of them haven’t been completed.

  9. I'm pretty sure (when it was working lul) this was added as a feature in the dashboard. If not, feel free to submit another suggestion (when it gets working again lul)

  11. As mystic said, it’s simply a warning / reminder that just because an item is purchased, doesn’t mean you are precluded from the consequences of server rules. i.e. if you use your Jedi to glitch or exploit, you will lose access to that class even if you paid for items within it.
