It came down to just cost. I wanted a move away from PC and only desktop and built a system with the income I have coming in. I didn't have the ++++ money it costs to build the biggest and baddest system. 1. I don't game enough anymore to drop 500+on a high end CPU I'm not the most blessed person to have a lot of money to drop on a 2 grand system. with the specs I have. ive spent right at 1100 on the system. that's more than what I originally was going to spend but, I knew if I wanted atleast a half decent system. I went with some off the rail parts. either way the system should just do what it should. I don't need the gamers paradise system as I don't game as hard as I did when I was younger. (#adultingsucks)

idk much about mac but im on windows and when mine did this. all I did was uninstall GarrysMod, and removed everthing I had in my steam folder that had an association to gmod restarted my pc, reinstalled gmod and the addons needed, and it has not happened again..
