  1. All good, mistakes happen. Please don't hesitate to get clarification after the fact if you are still unsure for future incidents. (Hopefully there are none.)
  2. Hi, I in fact did not say 1 day. Racism is a 5 day ban minimum, you so received the minimum ban for derogatory language. The reason why you were banned was because you said a slur, which was clipped and reported to me. When I spoke to you I tried to ascertain if you understood what you were saying and you clearly exhibited that you understood the word. Now, I understand that it may have been an accident, but the standard we've set is clear when dealing with derogatory language. I am not against your ban being appealed, however, that is up to the Directors. I was just following the precedent we've set.
  3. Completed
  4. -1 There is absolutely no way to regulate this, and while I agree with your sentiment-you ultimately control what comes out of your mouth and the mouths of your peers. If you want it to be a safer place then do better.
  5. This is nothing that 104th would lose because of this.
  6. That is not the reason why I'm fighting for this, the 501st focuses on offensive maneuvers and mortars would significantly aid in that interaction along with RP. The entirety of dire squad gets a mortar, so that's 10 DS to 4 501st.
  7. Dude I love you a lot and I really hate to pull this card. But as a person who has studied military history and several battles and wars, mortars are an offensive tool. Yes, suppression is a part of that but modern military doctrine (at least in the 20th century) has shown that mortars and arty are used as a backbone to infantry assaults. You can see several films and shows that focus on a battle or war use mortars in this capacity during an assault on a bunker, city or town, or even another battalion.
  8. All of the battalions listed are in the ATTACK REGIMENT. That makes no sense.
  9. Dude. Just because im high staff doesn't mean Xaze will sit down with me and listen to me. The guy has better things to do. Also, I never said the 501st has nothing I said that it would be a welcome addition to an attack battalion because it is an offensive tool that can be utilized in both regiments, both mech and atk.
  10. Jugg we literally discussed that the RP aspect of it is not the entire argument. There is so much more to argue than just lore and you know that because I sat with you for 30 minutes telling you about it... Appo is lead and Anakin is XO so technically that would not work.
  11. +1 Yet another GM suggestion from the guy who hates GM work (his words not mine)
  12. +1 GM stuff is very cool
  13. +1 Very peak, once again another model for me to never use.
  14. +1 I will only agree with this if the jetpack is attacked to his boots like in the show.
  15. +1 More armor for me never to wear, god bless.
  16. -1 Just make a ticket when you need a resupply, and if the GM tells you no there is obviously a good reason for it.
  17. +1 Giving medics a second option to stay in the subunit would obviously aid 501st in keeping its MED reg alive.
  18. Does the subunit currently have 10 spots or will it grow or shrink due to this change?
  19. That makes absolutely no sense after our discussion. We clearly stated that it was both for lore and rp purposes in regard to how 501st operates. So why is that argument not valid?? Secondly, mortars ARE special and directly relate to regiments that specialize in heavy ordinance. MY reasoning is what we discussed AND what is found in this post and my replies. Lovebear if you read the discussion that is exactly what we want to happen. WE WANT DIRE SQUAD LEAD AND XO TO WORK WITH 501ST COMMAND IN ESTABLISHING THE HVO TRAINING AND TRYOUT. It is clearly written in the document, and was noted in our discussion with Jugg.
  20. We're the priority for EOD but whenever pods get dropped the entire server is on top of them, I'm not saying that it's a bad thing but EOD is a blanket thing and mortars in an ATK battalion make sense. It is an offensive piece of equipment after all. Why do you believe that it should belong to just Dire Squad? Elaborate on that for me, other than because they fought very hard for it.
  21. So what does 501st get other than lore names in our subunits that makes them unique? Yes, you fought for it but it doesn't mean that it has to be exclusive. It's a tool that can be utilized by more than just Dire Squad. I understand where you're coming from but as I mentioned earlier, I do not want 104th to have a say in who gets a lore character in 501st solely based off the fact that it has a mortar. If that were to be the case I would only allow 501st to maintain the training that Dogma would get. That excludes what I'm trying to do here, which is include 104th Dire Squad in the process while giving the ATK battalion an offensive tool to use.
  22. Why do you think this will get taken from 104th? I've clearly stated I want to work with them. I made it go to all HVOs as a compromise because giving it to a certain lore character would cause too much clash between TC leadership and Dire Squad. I also don't want another battalion determining who gets Hardcase for example, just because he has a mortar. If its given to HVO we both will have a lot more ground to stand on, and its only four slots that will be monitored heavily.
  23. Name: Nexus RP Rank: BCMD Suggestion: Currently the 501st does not have any explosive ordinance representation outside of controlling the training for EOD, the defusal kit, and HVO (which every battalion gets). This is why I am requesting that the 501st HVO regiment receives mortars, per the lore, so that they can be a stronger example as to how 501st operates with heavy ordinance during offensive scenarios. On top of this giving 501st mortars will provide the battalion with new ways to demonstrate effective ways to use explosive ordinance, as well as giving an Attack Battalion a strong offensive tool to aid in RP scenarios. For example; arty barrages moving into a frontal assault, or suppressive barrage whilst the ATK REG pushes an objective. We will sacrifice one HVO slot, and want to work with 104th Dire Squad Lead and XO in creating a tryout document for 501st HVO to include the mortars so that they keep their specialization but 501st gets lore equipment. Implementation: Job / Whitelist change Lore: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Mortar Workshop content if applicable: (If no workshop content, suggest a developer or put "Require Development") If you are asking to add or change a job, fill out the following if not, leave it out. Add or Change: Change (Any job modification requires all this information) Job: Job Slots: 4 (5 originally but we will sacrifice a slot for mortars) Description: Add mortar and rangefinder to the HVO whitelist Model: N/A (Provide the model string if on server Ex. models/synergy_roleplay/trooper.mdl (Get this from the Q menu) Weapons: mortar_constructor, mortar_range_finder (If you want a modfication to a weapon/saber you must put the weapon string in the suggestion. Ex. tfa_e5 (Get this from the Q menu)) Other:
