Simple, up damage of all lightsabers to reflect a change, make it better on both sides to combat it. So you'd rather have clones with 500 health and 250 armor, trying to be a one man army with a flamethrower sprinting after a sith and following them around? Cause that's totally star wars.

Unless you add them all together - The dude obviously didn't give a shit about what he was doing, he did it intentionally to harm the server because he got upset. He even said this in his appeal. That alone is reason enough to be permanently banned. I have seen many people banned for intentionally causing drama or intentionally hurting the server before, this is no different.

What confuses me about everyone saying he has done so much for the community is the fact that he put this appeal up less than a day after being banned... and he obviously hasn't learnt from his mistakes, what's to stop him from being unbanned and doing it again straight away? Second chances usually come after time has passed, not immediately after a ban has taken place? Reformation of ones character takes time, change within oneself is not instant. and before anyone comments on it, 2-3 weeks is nothing, let's be honest here. The only amount of time that I would see as acceptable would be at least 3 months, that's a quarter of a year of someone's life, to reflect on shit is plenty of time.

There is nothing that was ever stated that a sit is required for a ban to be handed out. It has been this way since the beginning of the community. You say you knew it was coming, means it was deserved. You have done nothing here but create excuses for yourself. Grow up, man up, and take responsibility for your actions. I would have also perma'd you in the same instance. Come back when you've grown up a bit. If you want to appeal at a later point, I'd probably +1 it if it's obvious you had thought about what you have done wrong, however you've literally just pointed out what you did and tried to say it wasn't that bad. Not cool. -1 to the unban, -1 to the reduced length.

I've seen thins before and it has been a thing for the past 4-5 years and has almost never been a problem other than the rare occasion... You shouldn't be clicking your shoot button when your weapon is on safety anyways? However, would be nice to make sure that it can't happen for those that like clicking while weapon is on safety..?

I'm going to have to say -1 to this. Whilst I can agree that SOBDE squad leads can handle themselves, I must disagree as there has been times in the past that a Squad Leader won't take action against someone being mingey in their squad or favortises someone into their squad, the REG position can then deal with this and it takes away from having it be a main concern for the MCMD to watch over the squads, rather than having him have the REG's report to him. To put it in short, if the Lead does something dodgey, the regimental is to deal with it, otherwise the MCMD has to constantly watch SOBDE and SOBDE wouldn't like that.

I agree with you there on that about Palpatine, however that is my own roleplay side of things as my character not the clones. In terms of the RoE I told Qal to clarify what he wants them to be, as I had previously stated I didn’t give any orders in terms of RoE, as that wouldn’t fall under the Chancellor in a lore sense, it would fall under the highest military authority, ie. A captured enemy is lore valuable than a dead one. Having a captive Sith allows us to have leverage over the Sith from a roleplay aspect in gaining intelligence. There is nothing stating anywhere that we would treat them as allies? Detain means strip them of weapons and comms, bind them with force-shackles, take them to brig/IR. As stated above, intelligence in a war would be far more superior than a dead acolyte... Also, the rule of two, as I had to explain to others. States there may only be two Sith LORDS at one time. A master and an apprentice. It does not state there can not be others under them? Savage and Maul we’re trying to overthrow Sidious to become the new Two lords. The last master denied before Keelyvine, was Poof and that was without Council approval? I don't know anyone in the Jedi Council other than the suggestions for Keelyvine (who was alive during the clone wars) and Poof (which was accepted) who has made a suggestion for the addition of a master?

I can tell you, as someone who has been a member of the Jedi Council for the majority of the time the server has been up, Ima-Gun Di has always been one that has been desired by players and members of not only council but the order.
