I get the Dennis getting Bacara meme is funny. But it’s been nearly 2 years since then. We have a completely new leadership team. Both in Staff and Command. You honestly think they don’t listen to public opinion?

The 21st to GM wipe happened less then a year ago. So yes, they absolutely still do.

    I REALLY don’t think a $5.3k weapon having 10 shots is dumb

maybe don't waste 5k on an immaginary star wars gun? you bought it knowing it behaved like this, no? your choice was your choice

of the community doesn't want an insanely, like actually unbelievably, OP weapon to be buffed even more. That's how it's gonna go, you wasting your own money isn't a reason we should care

  3. Seems like a really strange process to avoid reapps. Looking at the history of high command evaluating public opinion I'm not sold on the idea they'll actually listen to us. At least public applications allow us to tell when HC is blatantly avoiding our votes *ahem* Dennis *ahem*

They're also still on a 3 month period before evaluation so doesn't that kinda defeat the point. They need to get things done before they go through a slimmed down process.

All seems too prone to favour and hc making more choices for us that we disagree with. If someone genuinely cares about a battalion they'll willingly reapply. The 3 month terms could just do with lower expectations to complete things or maybe extension to 4 months, why give up on a proven process. Especially one that can deny promising people a shot at BCMD and offers no threat to complacent BCMDs.

  4. @Marvelwe lost this race, I told you to post it sooner

+1, I think rancor in it's current state is completely unfair balance wise and how it interacts with other battalions. It's way too ripe for abuse against all batt's and ARC's wishes.

I think it could be okay to replace rancor with a stripped back version in which the leaders remain to run the central ARC program and make changes because a centralised training for ARC still is sort of nice to see. But a full removal is cool too.

I want this moved to suggestions aswell like actually 100% seriously actually move it now

  5. -1, bro you became the BCMD of Rancor and you're asking for navy to be removed?!?!

  6. +1, I hate the fact his was ever changed at all. This made the server so much easier to play on because I always knew what there was, this character system is the bane of my existence. I don't care what it allows to be added on I don't like it at all. Such a big change it's weird the community has to ask for it back rather than for it to be removed in the first place.

Lots to unpack here, experiencing mixed emotions that took me like a day to really consider.

Was talking to a friend about this, and honestly I'm inclined to agree that you were definitely a net positive for the community. The fact that people are missing you already says a lot and I can see why they will. For me, you had your insufferable moments and I certainly disagreed with many of your outlooks. But damn, I'd be an idiot to say that you didn't have the passion and personality that a lot of people on this stupid game just don't have anymore. Looking back, our disagreements never became uncivil, and you managed to keep a cool head up for the longest time. I'll be honest man, I really do envy the patience.

I genuinely dislike maybe 1 or 2 people here (the rest just kind of annoy me at best), and you skated along the line a few times but always managed to bounce back for me. You're a good dude, Bacta and hella funny too. Still have memories of your time as Count Dooku and I'll say that I meant everything I said about that. I genuinely became excited every time I saw that "/advert Republic dogs..." Good shit.

Legitimate loss to Synergy, although I know people don't tend to stay away forever.. still gonna suck for the time you're not here! Nice knowing you, my BAF (Best Acquaintance Forever). :peepoLove:

Good analysis! Really made me reconsider my thoughts on the subject!

CG do not generally kill 10 people per day with doors in lore

I mean you guys have done a good job proving otherwise LMAO.

No one is forcing CG to arrest for this except for CG lol

+1, sure if it's possible but I dunno so. Just quit arresting people if it's unintentional

  9. great film, fizzik. I saw a lot of hate from critics and I thought it was a little silly.

I loved the editing and a lot of the messaging of the film. I dunno if it was intentional but the whole bullet train being a metaphor for fate and at the end they derail fate in order to save themselves was pretty nice I thought. Brad Pitt was fantastic and so where tangerine and lemon. They honestly deserve some sort of spin off because their chemistry was immaculate. I thought the jokes were pretty solid, very rarely at the expense of the seriousness but sometimes did. The scenes where things weren't funny and got more personal felt well deserved and done, honestly the fate of tangerine was weirdly tragic and emotional. The action was pretty top notch and felt quick and punchy. I thought the product placement in the film was actually one of the best jokes, the fiji scene was so blatant I think it was intentional because it was one of the best parts for me.

I thought it dragged a bit at the end and sometimes the plot felt a little convoluted. I liked the backstories but the Wolf and Hornet (or whatever she was called) were like sort of pointless characters and felt like plot convenience at most.

I think I care too much about this film but it's about an 8/10

  10. There are many a things I think when I hear of a Gears application. Many a past times of which I reminisce and consider how you've gotten yourself in such a place. I personally have both my doubts about your ability but more so your intention. I always felt somewhat that your time in senate was only 50% for the actual good of the senate. I felt much of your time was spent trying to prove yourself worthy of a higher position. Most clearly shown by your enormous disappointment in the reduction of Mas' rank to that of BCMD. I felt you were more disappoint it lost the ability to apply for Palpatine and act as a member of HC rather than it losing it's representation within HC. Now while you have done good things for the senate, I am in no denial about you being one of the most active Vice Chancellors to date, I did always wonder if you ever cared about the senate or saw it more as a method of furthering yourself.

I understand your intentions in High Command are likely quite novel and beyond what you have described, I can easily imagine you leveraging your position to push for changes that you see would benefit the server and some of it's parts. I can respect that and I understand you are somewhat of a fierce campaigner upon that of which you care maybe too much about. Being the leader of such completely separate factions with little to nothing connecting them creates a very loose job I think you're just leaping at the chance to push to it's potential, I do respect that. But I fear you may lose sight of what the new position is about, the factions. Upon losing this sight you will quickly find yourself acting almost as what chancellor once was as opposed to what it has been turned into. Something which could seriously harm factions as they remain completely neglected by HC as it continues to fight over the macro.

I know this is retardly long but in summary I just want to be assured that you're not going to abandon the factions and especially the senate to pursue sweeping policy within High Command. You are very capable but I could see you quickly losing sight of your own position and place leaving behind your job to go all in on server wide RP changes. I hope you can keep your head straight but I can never be certain.

+1, don't get too caught up in HC drama

-1 some dumass is gonna come on the server and just rdm as a commando droid bruh, man could literally get on a sith job and enter DB and kill all. I want to feel special I bought VIP and they didnt

Dont event jobs spawn in the admin room? How would they get out to RDM if they weren't staff?

  12. I think the batt buffs is a great change, Despite delays from outside sources HC got exactly what the people wanted. That's great to see. It went through all the BCMDs and all their ideas were accounted for and it all came together seemingly democratically which is unusual for HC but quite welcome.

Palpatine is an interesting change, I can see why and why it shouldn't have happened. I would've preferred a separate job created but HC might not have wanted a bloated system or maybe there was outside constraints. Either way it's not world ending. I think now would be a much better time to move Navy under palpatine again, it's weird the marshal gets rule over a faction if we now have a faction marshal.

also is it possible to make it so CG only have a speed boost when having their batons out? so they don't have double buffs permanently and only when doing arresting?
