the visitors are taken to ir where soon after they are most likely killed by null. should this happen a squad of police from the home world of the visitors and begin attacking because the republic has murdered a innocent civilian then it turns into a shoot em up blah blah blah end of event

I only kill people who deserve it mmk? And if they stole something from me or other nulls they would most likely deserve it.

Same thing with SMB, just as my statement was an analogy, yours can be an analogy as well.  SMB should be able to promote/demote people when officers absent.  This is a problem for battallions with officers who arent as active as the SMBs.

WELL, here is my counter-argument. When do we draw the line? Hell all NCO's can promote in the absence of Officers. It's an NCO rank, they will be just fine with what they have left.

Okay, well consider this.  Why not just make it so that ONLY BATT COMMANDERS can promote?  anyone 2LT-CMD will just bring it to the BCMD to promote someone?

Here is my argue against this. Officers are put into the position to promote people and do the important roles in the BCMDs absence. If we had BCMDs on at every waking moment I would be okay with it.

Ok, but part of the SMB's job is to "DISCIPLINE and MANAGING NCO's." to quote you. This SHOULD INCLUDE PROMOTING AND DEMOTING NCO's.

Again, all they have to due is talk to an officer. They determine the fate of a NCO by feedback, similar to a Jedi of a battalion. It's just simple. This is being blown way out of proportion.

By that logic, an SMB has just as much power as a trustworthy SGT3.  a trustworthy SGT3 can get someone promoted by requesting it to an officer.  So it practically puts SMB to an equal rank as SGT3

False, SMB is the Chief Disciplinary figure. Their word means a lot more to a GOOD Commander or Officer.

Managing NCOs would include promoting/demoting them.  If they dont have the power to demote/promote.  Removing their power to promote and demote means all they can do is yell and give PT, and just threaten to bring someone's to an officer.

"3.2.f) Sergeant Major of the Battalion (SMB) and below are not allowed to promote anyone regardless of what the Battalion Commander States."  (taken straight from the rules)

I 100% agree. The only thing I disagree with is SMB not being able to promote people lower than his rank.

Easy solution to both of these. Talk to an officer! They don't need to be able to promote/demote, there are Officers for a reason. At this point it seems all of the SMBs are putting off the whole "Im only here for power" vibe.

  6. YOU CAN DO YOUR JOB WITHOUT BEING SALUTED OR SITTING ON THE DAMN STAGE!!! Jesus fucking christ ya'll act like your IRL job was taken from you. You are in charge of DISCIPLINE and MANAGING NCO's.  I just can't stand all the damn complaining, deal with the decision. Ya'll acting like it's the end of the world.

Before this happens. We really need to fix up the battalions that need help. The founders want to remove battalions currently. Not add more. That being said if we have everything in order and all battalions are active then I would be down for it. I have been in and out of RC for 9 months and I honestly like this idea. I joined the server when Grey RC was around with Old Man Logan I believe. It worked out very well and I personally like this idea under one condition... It HAS to be done RIGHT. Otherwise no. It's going to be hard to get this added. It can be done so wrong but also so right. If it ends up going bad then I am fine with removing it then. I personally think adding 2 more squads is a better idea.

I agree with the 2 more squads being better.

The only time I give the person what they want is if they have something or someone important hostage. Any other situation and they are negotiating for their lives, literally. Also who do RC have permission to order around, do you know?

No clue, like I said I only order people around in IR due to that kinda being my forte. I stay out of everyone elses business. You'd have to ask someone else.

Nothing triggered me more as a jedi consular than how RC and other elites conducted "Interrogations" on icefuse . Sometimes they did ok, but more times than not RC screamed at them and then shot them, before we actually got any information out of them. And the RC always got mad at me too, ordered me to leave and saying that I was the one screwing up interrogations.

No has answered the question btw. Who has to listen to RC and Null orders and who doesnt?

I don't like letting Jedi in for one big reason. They give the person being interrogated whatever they want. They are not esteemed guests, they are there to give us information. If you want, I'll invite you in on my next interrogation. They may end bad for some people, but I always get what I want out of the person first. On the last part, I'd assume the person leading the interrogation decides who stays and who leaves just respect that. I hate having a clustered IR, I toss out a lot of people when I am running the bitch.

  10. You come in my IR after I tell you to leave you end up getting a knife in the chest..... ecksdeeee. I only usually kick people out so I can actually RP with the guy rather than having 20+ people in the IR, a lot easier for it to be me and another Null/RC. Maybe Wolfpack or something.
