    The issue was they were mining and it was fail RP "Nothing going on the server" is not a good excuse and is only really used when there is little to no defence for inappropriate actions and I am a Jedi master the others present were knights and padawans people who had no authority regardless and Yes I told them too as you aware that it is not tolerated hopping on the youngling whitelist and mining round should not be encouraged at all and it is my role as a Jedi Master to crack down on incidents that involve incorporate jedi behavior.

    My primary issue is that you all thought younglings messing around that sounds fun lets go to the Jedi temple and watch and then encouraged more poor behaviour. It did not end when you were told to as I tod you all to drop it and to stop acting in a poor manner at the LAAT when you were trying to take them out of the temple then you proceed to create the "fight club" where I had to practically shout at you all to stop and then leave the temple.

    By saying that it was a good battalion activity your are saying that holding a good standard of RP and discipline is not a very high priority for you and as a server that is pushing to be more "serious" within it grounds of acceptable RP you would not be helping that or creating a good environment where that could grow and be respected.

    Honestly I don't think that is the issue with Palpie at all in RP. The issue is similar to what happens to Yoda in RP.

    Its that the characters are treated so differently by the community at large in RP . in a poor way as people for some unknown reason seem to act more silly or mingey to those roles. You might be able to throw Anakin in with those two because you can do the RP as the character perfectly but if just your presence make people freak out and act silly around the character whether its memes calling the character silly names ect. it can become unpleasant to actually go onto those roles because of how people act I'm sure past Palpatine's Yoda's and even Anakin's can highly attest to that.

    -1 Honestly this is in regards to your recent actions in game that really gave me credence to minus one mainly the Actions of your trooper then as Dooku promptly after.

    To explain the situation there was a bunch of younglings on and misbehaving and as you and  a few others encouraging those younglings to mess around. I got involved when you tried to take the younglings out of the temple for Guerrilla warfare training for younglings after being told no you then proceeded to encourage a youngling "fight club" in which I got involved and kicked you out of the temple on your clone as I thought that kind of thing was completely out of order.

    I then got off but proceeding that you went on Dooku and called yourself Master Dooku and broke RP by pretending to be a Jedi Master from there you then to my knowledge took those younglings out of the temple and the poor conduct escalated.

    This kind of thing I wouldn't mind that much if it was in private and just a bunch of friends goofing off but this was in the middle of the jedi temple all over comms and I even had to switch of my job to deal with the situation.

    Now I may enjoy your company as a friend if this is the kind of example you are setting for the people around you and what you choose to do with your positions NOW it does not fill me with confidence on your decision making or how you in good conscience  discipline a out of line trooper when these are the kind of things you get up to when you are bored.

    I don't care about any previous infractions whether it was Rancor BCMD spec reg or whatever the hell thats in the past but that was hardly two weeks ago as you are not a bad person or malicious when you do things but I think this is a quality that needs working on really

    Commando RP is pointless, bc metagaming, and generally overused. 

    However, this leaves comms RP, which exists if you pay attention. Maddox for example is Trench and was roleplaying with Brace in comms yesterday. Dennis could do this too but dooku's exquisite laughter would get old reap fast, Dooku doesn't have very amazing interactions with anyone specific. 

    I know that and that is why I brought that point up as I thought all the people saying it improves RP was ever foolish and I wanted to point that out. 

    And comms RP outside of Passive stuff is indeed worthless as any and nearly every event has that so that can be treated as special because a raid is happening

    And as for the well Rancor has half of it command dead and so does the 501st yeah I agree but that doesn't mean we should keep adding to the problem especially for a faction which is glorified event jobs at this point.

    • Ehh this wouldn't really "improve RP"  This would just damage immersion (what little we have) Asajj and Savage never operated at the same time for obvious reasons. Being that Savage was made because Dooku cast Ventress out and she made a assassin. Even then Savage and Ventress are dead by now or at least Ventress is a bounty hunter you'd of been better off asking for Quinlan Voss to enter as admiral enigma besides when the [Expletive] do the CIS ever RP?

    This is in refrence to the above and possibly below +1's that blindly state "Good for RP" or "Improves RP"

     

    Personally unless the CIS becomes a full time functioning faction outside of hop on the Jobs RDM fest then encounter over there is little point to adding more jobs -1

    Short answer: Aw hell naw -1

     

    Longish answer: Blacklists are a great method for tracking people and putting a red flag over someones name any black list can be appealed at any time and be revoked at any point also but that is the kind of thing that falls to the digression of a factions/battalions command structure theres plenty of people have permentaly blackisted in my time in command for good reason and they are left as standing until the person who is blacklisted wishes to appeal it from a future command and its that commands then choic to deal with it approve or deny it. Also battalions often regulate and update blacklists frequently anyway the best examples probably being sobde because of their tryout systems.

    3/10 Alot of the comments and concerns are the same to the last event of this chain you did act more as Sith over a reasonable guy with no motivation who calls themselves a sith and one who announces themselves like a anime villain if you want subterfuge play a character who can  do that by hiding their Identity or go all out as a megalomaniac who rants and raves and wants to kill everyone.

    -1 I remember when we had it before it caused some really bad performance issues.

    But I am also thinking about the practicality of this feature and when actually using it would be useful and I can not think of to many situations outside of a sniper using it and hiding.

    Whenever I have used prone systems in Gmod it is usually bound with the same key as crouch and unless you play toggle crouch it can really be irritating where it doesn't consistently work by when trying to crouch it prones or trying to stand and those commands and imputs get muddled. My other worry  is all the clipping and traversal issues that can be caused because Gmod isn't really built to naturally prone and a lot of maps havent been built with that feature in mind.

    Honestly I believe you handled the event rather poorly by not really reading how the Jedi and Republic are meant to react to a sith or how they are meant to act.

    By this I mean at this point the Jedi are doing their best to hunt down all sith and either destroy or convert them in order to bring balance to the force so you can't just swan up to the base as a Sith and expect to be treated as a old friend who we will trade happy jabs with as Sith are a hostile element to the whole republic.

    You might think well Chrome can do it but he has had his misgivings with it but even then as of right now he is acting as a Jedi convert so that is how he can do it.

    What I reccomend in future to not create unessecary conflict is the infiltrate as a pretend Jedi and try and gather info that way if your purpouse is to gather info as there is no good reason in RP why any republic forces would knowing work with/assist a Sith outside of palpatine of extenuating circumstances like what happened with Dooku, Kenobi and Anakin.

    And please if you are going to be a Sith then act like one as Sith they are conflict that is their purpose and are trained to hate and want to kill Jedi without mercy. Its not a matter of oh well I am just a nice reasonable Sith as that is the opposite to what they are thats more a grey jedi. The Sith are corrupted by anger and that fules them to conflict and is why a Sith who is not pretending to be something else fails in the context you used it in.

    Primarily if your plan is to manipulate the republic into helping you they can't know what you are as a Sith just look at what happened to palptine the second the Jedi had a coffession he was the Sith Lord.

    So I hope this clears up some of the grievances I had with the event. Now sure they were more personal issues that happened during the event but do not need to be bought up here I hope this helps as.
