RP Name: 501st SSG Zero | Jedi Padawan Northstar Steam ID32: STEAM_0:0:104841883 VIP (Y/N): Y Age: 20 Timezone: NA/EST Tell us why you want to be an administrator (6 sentence minimum): For starters, I want to be an administrator because I feel that this is a role where you can implant yourself within a community and be a part of the team that makes it grow. Staff Teams are the backbone of communities, and they are generally some of the first faces you see when joining a new environment such as Synergy. I really enjoy being the first helping hand to a newer or experienced player when they require help within the server. Being a regular community member and spreading positivity is great but taking it to that next level and getting real involvement with the server for instance becoming a staff member is an entirely different feeling. One individual can change someone's entire aspect of something and if I can be the difference for someone, and if I can help at least one person then that’s okay. Day by day playing my part within Synergy making every bit of difference that I can help this community grow. Tell us a little about yourself (3 sentence minimum): Dedication: When it comes to dedication, I feel that I ultimately succeed in this area. Actions definitely speak louder than words and dedication is one of those things where it truly is proven with one's actions. Once I have my mind set on something I stick to it and ride it out until either I am forced to stand down or I have achieved my goal. And usually after a goal has been achieved, I am already looking for my next course of action. I believe that there is always room for improvement and that is a trait I take a lot of pride in. I am always looking for the next move or upgrade. I dislike the “static” feeling and ultimately this trait ties into my staff application because with my level of dedication towards the staff team I believe I can truly make an impact. Activity: Activity is also a trait where I truly do exceed the standards. I probably spend a little more time than I should on Synergy and Gmod as a whole, but this is what I enjoy doing in my free time which I have a lot of. Whether I’m on in the morning or during the night, or even in and out throughout the day my activity is nothing that I worry about. Achieving a staff member position would only drive my activity to its highest point providing assistance where needed and being that helping hand even when other staff members might not be online. I really want to put myself out there and make something of myself. Since joining this community, I have been active on the server at a constant rate gaining familiarity within the ranks and members as well as partaking in events. Willingness to help others: I have always enjoyed helping those that are unable to help themselves. Giving help to another can be something so simple but it’s not always a task that everyone wants to do. Nobody likes the feeling of being left out or being stuck and when they need help, they expect staff members to be there. Not only are you magnifying someone else's game and community experience, but it always opens up an opportunity to make a new friend or create a connection that can be useful later down the line. As an active staff member, it would be my goal to help as many community members as I can and really get my face out there to let the players know that there is someone there at the click of a button waiting to provide assistance when it is needed. Another large role of staff is new players. When they first join, they are already looking to be trained. And this is another responsibility of staff that is not an issue at all. Not only do I have a willingness to help other, but I also have a willingness to learn. And as a staff member that is one of the things, I'm looking forward to doing. Responsibility: As a staff member yes, you do have the most responsibilities out of the larger majority of all members. Taking care of sits that pop up, Training newer members, and taking care of the bad ones. Enforcing the rules is the utmost important because the rules are what keep the server balanced. One thing that I am very highly on is DOING THE RIGHT THING. I am not afraid to stand up against whoever it may be when it comes to doing the right thing. And standing up for a community member who feels defenseless is one of the bigger roles we play as staff members. It is our job to be fair and just. These are all responsibilities that I will be able to take under my wing and build off of and build up from. Do you have any previous staff experience? If yes, please elaborate on what you have accomplished: Now I don’t have the most staff experience in all of Gmod but I do have some pretty impressive goals and previous achievements that were I reached. Gmod - - Community manager of Apex Networks CWRP (3 months) - Super Administrator of Apex Networks CWRP (6 Months) - Permanent Administrator on Superior Servers CWRP (2 Years) - Trial administrator on Superior Servers CWRP (7 Months) - Moderator on Superior Servers CWRP (4 Months) - Game Master on Superior Servers CWRP (1/2 Years) Other - - Arma 3 Server Administrator (3 Months) -Discord Mod for a small-time content creator. All of these positions came with ranks within our primary communication sources which were Discord, TeamSpeak and Forums pages.
