I really really really hate to ask you guys of this, but the reason I kept coming back to you guys was this sense of family and support Synergy gave me. so as a long time friend of Synergy, Im asking for any help/support. Im sorry. Long story short: I lost my job a few weeks back. Before that, Ive been 1 month behind on rent since October because of a late job transition. I was right about to get caught up on rent by working overtime, and putting my nose to the grindstone whenever I could with my work. I guess someone had a stick up their ass or something and I got fired from too many complaints. Ive been trying to look for every job I can. Fuck I mean I applied for a job literally 4 hours away from me because a friend here said they'd put in a good word for me. Ive already looked into rent assistance programs in my state, I dont qualify. Im trying to do everything I can to make sure I will have somewhere to sleep. Because of my late rent circumstances, I had 2 options: 1. Pay 1328$ from december + 1878$ for January's rent BY January 10th or get evicted. 2. Sign a notice to move out by the end of December to avoid paying January's rent and take the L. I chose option 2. By December 31st, I will have to sleep in my car. I have 80$ from friends rn. I got jack shit. I hate to ask for help from friends, but Im at the end of my rope. If any of you guys live on the east coast/midwest, and have a spare room or anything, id be very grateful for any assistancce. I DESPISE taking money from friends. I feel so bad and guilty doing it. Im gonna swing my retired ding-dong around here and say this DESPITE my past differences with Bogey, his past behavior, and his past misdeeds. I do believe in fairness, equality, and that everyone is capable of greatness. Greatness isn't something you're born with, its something you work for, its something you're mentored into. I wasn't born great. I worked my ass of for 4 years to get to where I was before I left. I took the teachings of those before me, applied their wisdom into my actions, and inspired a new generation of greatness to surpass me. You gotta remember, people have lives outside of this god-forsaken game. Bogey prolly attends school, has family obligations, and prolly swindling some ladies . You're completely correct, most of the time, the complaints are "we lost so we are angy". But I have heard a few complaints on multiple occasions where the clones felt the attacks were unprovoked or unwarranted. I worked with Baron and Ratio almost immediately to get to the bottom of these complaints and resolve the issue before people went hostile. It came down to a misunderstanding of the CCS's intentions and was clarified and left at that. Most of the time people, people think that the CCS is all just "Hahaha we have big gun go brr pop bang RDM fun time" but after every time I've received a complaint about them, I was given all the information and was able to clarify things to those who had complaints. I haven't witnessed the CCS or anyone related to them breaking any rules, all Im saying is, I get complaints.. Personally, I like the CCS, its the "yin" to the republic's "yang". Clones didn't win every battle. The CCS makes sure of that. They present a hostile force the server can interact with through passive RP and active combat. Its like you said, they add a tension to life on base and makes sure they are always on their toes. Personally, I wish their intentions were a little bit clearer as I have just chilling with the clones when the CCS attacks the base while trying to either accomplish some RP or a bounty, during the chaos and confusion, people can be quick to assume that "they're just RDMing because they're hostile". If maybe there were sort of a "check in" system set up so guild marshals and above can know the motivations behind these hostile actions and prevent it from escalating to a potential staff issue over a misunderstanding. Im open to ideas from members of the community on better ways to accomplish clear communication between the hostile clans and the republic, but that is just the first idea that rolled into my head. From what I've seen from Conrad recently, during his time as Windu and Hunter, He is an extremely dedicated individual with a passion to lead and bring people together to have a great time doing something they love. I will also work with the game-master team on making more events for the bounty hunters to interact in a positive and fun manner with the republic when it comes to roleplay and even talk to the GM team about utilizing the Hunters more as event jobs with RP CONSEQUENCES to their characters story. I will also be working closely with CG to make sure bounty hunters get fair treatment when trying to initiate RP or actively RP with the republic. I will talk to the guild intel team about maybe setting up a roster tracking Base passes/permits that aren't tied to any formal contract to better clarify who can or cant be on the base during what times. After clearing my cache and other files as instructed to do so by the developers, I cant connect to the server anymore. When I try to connect, I get this error. [ Couldn't CRC map maps/rp_anaxes_synergy_v3.bsp, disconnecting. ] I have the map in single player and Im subscribed to the entire main and event server content packs. :/ [Update] I tried restarting my game. Still cant connect, and if I try to launch the map in single player, it just immediately boots me back to the main menu as if I never even clicked single player.
