Suggestion: Fix the doors so they don't kill people anymore as currently people die when it is closed on them, which is unfortunately an inescapable circumstance.

Implementation: Make it so that the laser doors in brig do not slide up when they are opened so that they don't kill people anymore

Lore: CG do not generally kill 10 people per day with doors in lore

Sadly as a Jedi, theres not a whole lot I can do against 5000 NPCs. A little bit of additional RP could have helped a lot, BUT as an event for two infantry battalions and a bunch of commandos it was awesome. So really its Jedi that were the problem and not the event itself. But the amount of effort put into the map layout with all the props and dupes and stuff really made it feel like a different map. Or at least, made it feel like it wasn't just another event on a map we've seen 500 times. It felt unique and that was awesome. The server performance held up pretty well. NPC planning and placement was excellent as always.

It was a decent shoot-'em-up that was multi-staged and kept everyone on their feet. No real complaints other than enemy variety and weapon choice since they all used T-21s, but it proved to not be as bad.

Care and effort I'll give a three because the event jobs roleplayed in IR, you utilized the map pretty well, and you attacked multiple portions of the base. My biggest complaint was the use of the intercom. What I thought was a one-off gag went way too far and it wasn't cordial to the ARC trainings being hosted at the time (yeah, yeah Rancor whining about trainings). I didn't find the EJ or anyone involved really annoying, just use of the intercom going way too far. The explosion at the end wasn't your fault so I won't whine about that.

    No performance issues.

Main reason for the use of intercom was to try and get peoples attention. I was running around the base being ignored by everyone and no one seemed to want to RP. So the idea was to make people head over to BCC to do literally anything other than ignore me. But even that didnt work lmfao

Loved the attention paid during this event. Interaction was the most important thing needed to make an event like this thrive, and I can gladly say that interaction was where this event hit hardest. The gamemasters and gamehelpers involved did a superb job at moving around the map and creating little scenarios for everyone involved. Great roleplay, great storytelling and great all round immersion. Its not easy to make an event that satisfies Coruscant Guard, but I can safely say that we were all satisfied with our roles in this. And to touch a little more on the note of immersion, the use of dupes and props around the map really made this feel like a unique experience. As I was walking around I noticed props for corridors in the sewers that left things feeling fresh. Random debris scattered and little crawl spaces to crouch through. Something about this event felt alive and is EASILY the best deployment I've ever done in my long time on Synergy. But I don't expect any less from someone I consider to be the best gamemaster I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. 10/10, perfect RP based event. Very balanced, very organised. Very clean. A great ending note for Mercy's period as Fox. Thank you for this.

  5. For context: For anyone that doesn't know, text screens have been put up in the doorways that lead into the bunks area. Not the individual bunks, but the entire lobby. Textscreens that say "In character past this point, al rules still apply".

I think that this is kinda DUMB for a number of reasons. Firstly, this sign implies that the bunks lobby itself is no longer in character. And even though thats not the case, having a big sign that suggests that it is could be easily trolled and fucked around with. Within the first 30 minutes of the sign being there, I've seen people RP about seeing an empty void at the end of the corridor. From what I understand, roleplaying in the lobby is optional and not a necessity, but that implies that anyone is welcome to ruin other peoples roleplay. Seeing a big sign that says in character from here removes any existing immersion, and goes back on the recent forums post about an upcoming emphasis on roleplay. As we in CG are trying to work on keeping things a little stricted and a little tighter and focusing on enforcing roleplay, placing these signs is just gonna get in our way honestly. I don't think think this is a good idea.

  6. I really wanna see known characters used a little more on the server. I try my best to voice act whoever I'm playing as in an event, whether its Ventress or General Kalani, its always fun to warm up, get into character and then hear all the positivity I get from actually playing the character well. Quite a lot of event characters can use voice changers. I'm trying to make voicemod presets for every kind of droid. So far I've got commando droid and super tactical droid down to a T. So I've got a couple questions. Are there any voice changers that don't exist that should be made? And also, is there anyone else on the server passionate about voice acting? And is there anyone on the server that is able to pull off a convincing impression of a character?

I know it was intended for all of CG but I was left to handle things on my own. And in doing so I got the best CG RP experience I've had here. Great roleplay, great storytelling and it was fun being able to do my job

CG is in a rough spot right now. We need a smooth transition to someone who's ready to take on the role and make the necessary changes and improvements to the battalion. We need a comeback and I think that you're gonna bring exactly that to the table.

  9. Gameplay: 4 - The droids were repetitive but the amount of them made it fun for a small quad of four to fight through.

Care and Effort: 5 - Catered to the server population during downtime and gave us something fun to do.

Server Performance: 5 - Experienced no lag.

Suggestion: Create a Massiff swep to allow the Massiffs to retaliate to combat situations. I've been playing as a Massiff quite a bit recently and I've had a VERY large number of occurrences where people feel that they are able to walk upto me and physically attack me with fists or in some situations even guns. I recognise that we are supposed to use RP to retaliate to most things but in some situations it just isn't possible. This job is not given out free of charge, its something that CG provides trainings for and restricts the job to only people that have been authorised. So if this would be abused, the position would be swiftly taken away.

Implementation: Create a copy of the fists SWEP and increase the damage to somewhere between 35-75 per hit.
