Regiment: 14th Sector Army RP Name: Tessa Date: November 18th 2022 Reason: Over the past couple of weeks I've had a number of health problems come up. I just turned 22 as well so that week also was a lot of energy that I no longer have. I'm going through a sucky time and I can see now that I'm really just not myself. I've lost so much of what made me the best version of myself. And while I've been here away from the server trying to pick up the pieces and figure myself out, I realise now that for the time being at the very least, I'm unable to do the job that is expected of me and for that I must apologise greatly. Goodbyes: I'm sorry for disappointing you all. I genuinely had so much excitement to work with all of my battalions. I'm proud of all of you that made our regiment the best it could be! Thank you. @XazeYou gave me the strength and courage I needed to push forward and achieve greatness. You had my back when I needed you. Thank you. @FinnYou were a mentor to me and even as I'm writing this resignation you're rambling in the TS channel lol. Thanks for being you Finn. @ConradHide your wife, fool @MetroI really wanted to get more done together. Timing sure sucks. As for everyone else, I love you all. And I'll always think about you. I'll come chill in TS every once in a while so don't get your hopes up, but thank you all for making this as fun as it could have been. I only ask that you guys don't hate me for leaving like this. I never knew. This just hit me real hard. Just seeing all of the love on this thread being shared is a testament to how good of a person Korm really was. He was a real role model that truly cared about this community and all of the friends he made in it. Hope you're resting easy 2 years in. RIP

RP Name: Tessa Regiment: 4th Sector Army Who is in command until you return?: Metro Length of Absence: One week-ish I've had a lot going on the past week and a half or so. I've had my birthday, and have also been dealing with a few health concerns. As such I have had my schedule very limited. With so much on my plate I didn't think to put in an LOA. Hopefully this explains my recent absence and failure to uphold hour requirements.

-1 This individual has displayed antisocial and outright rude attitude in the presence of newer players on the server. Such an unwelcoming outlook from our staff team is not what we want people to see when they join Synergy. I believe its imperative that we push the community in a much more welcoming and open direction so that newer players feel inclined to get involved with the community. I feel strongly that you do not reflect such a direction and nor do I believe that you are capable of representing the community in a positive light as a member of the staff team.

Seems like you might have misunderstood the post. We are not dividing the playerbase, we're condensing 2 different groups into one and fleshing that one group out more, giving its already existent members more options for gameplay and roleplay.

Having your rank equivalency reduced by 2 ranks can be seen as a fairly big deal. Some might see it as a demotion. This change was going to happen some time down the line. So rather than "demoting" someone who is already in the position, the position itself has received the adjustment before hand.

If we put someone into the position of Mas Amedda right now and then alter their ranking equivalency and their place in the hierarchy, it will cause more problems than necessary. Putting this in place ahead of time will avoid further confusion upon the implementation of the mentioned "big changes" in the future. The timeline for this big change is very slightly unpredictable. It could be sooner, it could be later. But whichever it is, it makes more sense to make changes to the position itself before we have someone apply for it.

I agree with much of what Finn has said about the RP and the presence. I don't think its a problem with you yourself, I think if anything its perhaps a lack of experience in leadership. Something that the clear competitor does not lack. I believe that you are passionate, however, I have yet to see you use that passion to push for greater things on Synergy. I'd like to see more Meow before I see Marshal Meow. I STRONGLY believe that our high command team will benefit from you staying in your current position and Metro taking the reins as Marshal for this period. However COMMA, I am willing to hear you out on whatever you have to say on these points before finalising my stance on the application.
