In an effort to be transparent and fair, even though I'm a member of the dev team, I'd like to post this for community feedback. Ever since, the whitelist has set as a vestigial part of Civilian. This suggestion will give Civil Defense's lead a separate whitelist with a slightly better kit, distinct models, and the same permissions that the Mayor ID has (base pass, bounty board access, etc) as it's simply the Mayor replacement.

Tec maybe you need to give 15 tries to the navy argument but cmon, just because it's a droid doesn't mean it goes to the Navy. If anything that's abit asinine and racist since he's a droid. Like c'mon this is a jedi thing at heart

+1, based. Been advocating for a militarized neutral faction for years to add nuance to civ rp, this just proves that putting all my chips in on Zeros was the correct call

+1, Although I share the same objection, though I like the DP24, as Kaiser. I understand that it's a fall back weapon, but the DLT19S is the better choice. I know I'm an oldhead and my opinion doesn't count because I don't play, but I support this all the way. It's a diverse kit that mostly pulls from things that are standard on the server, and will serve to fill that QRF role very nicely. While I would like to see a new utility item that adds some sort of novelty to the role I understand that's a large ask when you're talking about replacing arc. I think this will be good for battalion health and will help the 212th specialize into a unique role with further iterations down the line.

I get that, but I don’t think anyone’s expecting every single weapon in the arsenal to get custom animations overnight. I was thinking more along the lines of starting small with the main clone weapons like the DC-15A and DC-15S first since those are the ones almost everyone uses daily when they first join the server as a CT or brand new to their first battalion. Then if people like them and the process works out well, maybe later on you could slowly expand into kit weapons or more unique guns over time. It doesn’t need to be a full overhaul all at once, just something added here and there when it’s ready and manageable for the dev team.

Ah yes I remember all the times huyang served with the navy and was apart of their operations great idea and point -1 tho this will never get used on a regular basis. Did you get Jedi leadership permission to post this as well?
