Honestly it should be required to give atleast a mini-Technodad related speech when someone is being promoted to any NCO+ rank. I wouldn't put too much effort into ranks under NCOs but if you're promoting someone to LT. and you can barely comprehend the ability to say a sentence or two as their CO just shows your lack of motivation and resonates throughout your officer branch. Keep promotion speeches under 3-5 minutes, but if you can't formulate atleast a sentence I don't think you should even be promoting people 🦞

Leaning towards -1 (May Update Later) If you can't give a little bit of effort into a promotion, you should not be promoting. It shows how you are as an officer. Lazy. Show your soldiers a bit of interest. While I do believe lower ranks below SGT don't deserve that much effort, anything above does. Good luck out there boyos.

I'll try to respond to these individually - This won't happen as it would require allowing Head Admins to access the Forum ACP; currently this access is heavily restricted to Founders & Chambers due to his role as HoA and veteran status in high-staff (as such he is trusted with this access by the Founders). The Founders and Chambers do very little within the ACP, mostly just assigning permissions/tags and editing forum sections as needed. Anything else is fully handled by myself internally due to security reason(s). Joah & Myself have agreed no one should have access to our entire member list which includes email address, registered devices, IP addresses, location, and more security information which is stored for charge back purposes, etc. The only people who have access to this information is the Founders and it's purely due to (a) Security and (b) Trust. I'm not sure how Chambers wants to manage the "Server Staff" group moving forward. It has been annoying to manage in the past with all staff ranks, so moving it to something like Admin+ would actually make sense to me; but that is up to Chambers and the Management Team @Lighig@Dragon@Carter as this will include SCP Staff ranks in the near future I'll look into additional colors now that I've revised our current ones - this should go live sometime today. -1 -- I have to agree with Joah, Agent, and Foxey. The phrase "go up one" shows laziness, and for an officer promoting, no matter what rank, there should always be effort put in. Because it also shows the player who is getting promoted that you care about them/you noticed the work they put in. Yeah it might not be hard for enlisted to get promoted, but some may not know that, and some may be putting in a lot of work. Everyone who is getting promoted deserves the effort, because it goes a long way. And if an officer is unable to do it properly they shouldn't be doing it, and they should be working with other officers in the battalion to be able to stand on the stand and promote properly.

Why do you drive in a parkway but park in a driveway? Trying to compare that analogy to this is stupid as fuck lol.

-1 I prefer people to state the rank they're getting put up to. As well as giving a brief reasoning as to why that person is getting promoted.

I agree with this, but maybe with Officer promos since those are like fairly big promotions... There are so many NCOs that I personally feel like that it would get repetitive quickly "You got your promotion requirements, go to (insert rank here) when officer promotions actually got battalion high command recognition.

@Cannon We are currently writing the reasons for Acceptance and denial. To properly convey our feelings on the matter without hurting to many feelings, and to ensure that its not to long. We recently incorporated a new thing at the end of commander interviews asking if they would like the reason for acceptance and denial. It is our first time doing it so please be patient.

I was so close with everyone in this community and it was so fun pretending to be a clone. I'm am truly sorrowful for the absolutely atrocious deed I have committed upon you, your family, and probably your entire heritage. Please, I just want to play again and I swear on my mother that I have changed. Being away from this server has really taught me life skills and has benefited me both mentally and physically, but now I wish to return to my role playing en devours upon your establishment. I have come so much closer with Jesus and God and they have forgiven me. I could not sleep at night feeling the guilt committing such sin. Oh please unban so my great sorrow can cease.
