Distant Echo! TrijiM's Event (Permission was given)

TrijiM

Recommended Posts

Name: TR 104th ARCO SFC TrijiM

Who helped (If applicable): LigHig (guided) Alfa, Raider, Slicer, Tyrone, Raids, Scotty, Miguz, and Matra

Event Name: Distant Echo

Summary of the story: (from the episode synopsis)

Conspiracy! After repeated setbacks
on the planet Anaxes, an elite clone
squad is deployed to investigate the
Separatist tactical advantage. Led by
Commander Cody and Captain Rex, this
special unit, called the Bad Batch,
infiltrates Admiral Trench's cyber
center to steal a strategic algorithm
capable of predicting the Republic's
every move.

What our heroes found was a live signal
from the ARC trooper known as Echo, a
clone long believed to be dead....

What was the result of the event?: Echo was reunited with 501st while having his injuries from all the cybernetics given. Admiral Trench captured and will be interrogated!

Was this more of a role play oriented or "shoot em up" oriented event: RP and Shoot em up. But it was little bit more of a shoot em up.

This was my first event, so any feedback will greatly improve on how i do events.

+1 Amazing. Just a few pointers though, make sure the droids you are spawning in are hostile (lol), try to make it a bit more difficult next time (more droids would work, maybe a bit more health would work as well), and last but not least try to make the RP a bit easier and less confusing. We got really confused at certain points and it was made a bit too quick but regardless it was pretty fun and really good for your first event. Keep it up!

-1 we didn't need all the battlions we could have just used 501st

True. But i was told that 501st had been getting deployed a lot so i thought it would be nice for other batts. to have some fun and be deployed. but thank you for the feedback

There wasn't enough to do for the amount of players that were in that event - a lot of us were just sitting doing nothing for 10+ min

Yeah that was my bad. I planned a lot for the Event but half way through i realized i should of put more things. Thank you for the feedback

To start off I'm not going to hold anything back most ratings on events just give a +1 because they are scared to cut bridges with people.

The event started off with a debrief that was led by Kit Fisto (Medic) while this is happening Bad Batch randomly show up and walk up to Medic barely explaining themselves or what's going on. Bad Batch should have been introduced by (Medic) if not by him they should have asked Medic to speak but they didn't they stared at Medic who was confused in till he told them they could speak.

After Debrief

All battalions headed out into the city to search for the CIS Base that was in the obvious location "The Citadel" all battalions herded themselves outside and inside the Citadel and while one battalion cleared out the Citadel most battalions were sitting outside twiddling their thumbs, with an occasional player event job sprinting by to get shot down in 30 Seconds.

Once we got Echo and the Scientist, the scientist proceeded to sprint by himself while spewing random gibberish into the city by himself.

Once Echo moved out and all VIP Event Jobs went safely to the Spawn, all battalions mindlessly ran around doing nothing for about 10 minutes. After the long jeopardy music played in most troopers minds a small amount of droids spawned in the streets and were killed in seconds and this would occasionally go on for 20 minutes while we had every VIP at spawn we stayed for half an hour doing absolutely nothing but wait for a couple droids to spawn at a random time. (We should have left long ago.)

We finally left with Kit Fisto finally saying head back to spawn and we marched back to the spawn with sullen faces.

Conclusion

The event should have been one battalion there was no need for 100 Troopers to walk to The Citadel of Narshadaa kill a few droids and extract Echo and a few VIP's.

Droid spawns need to be worked on such as keeping all battalions engaged with the event.

A debrief that has a guideline to follow to keep up with the flow of the event.

Neutral. Lead up to it would've been better. Maybe recreate the citadel somehow. I liked bad batch but didn't like their rp of hate everyone, that isn't them. Only thing i didn't like was all forces, pick specific battalions to come. All forces means a massive event.

i escorted the scientist out of the citadel by myself to the hotel, where 41st and 91st was.

then I went to the top with him where he jumped off the balcony and commited suicide
