Battalion ARCs are part of their respective battalions, so the decision is ultimately up to their chain of command. I would suggest they have a strong reason for requesting it or that it fits their battalion’s role. So, more specialty of the Battalion ARC's rather then just any ARC Trooper. Plus currently experimental to see if possible.

It is more canonically then what I suggested, maybe next time. The Weapon system we have on server compared to another server I played in the past might make that difficult. 1
