Tell us why you wish to be an administrator (6 sentence minimum):

Ok, I have a number of reasons... The first I'll talk about is I like to help where and when I can, and I'm available to do just that and I have not only the availability but the desire to do so as well, its the reason I became a TR nearly 3 weeks ago, I saw a need (CC's European time requesting trainers when none were available) and helping to fill that need, also being a GMT +1 player there have been some occasions albeit a few where I've needed CC's whitelisted or we've needed dupes built for sims when no one was available, being an Admin would help fill some of those needs and as I said i'm often available during the day (GMT+1) and I'd be more than happy to help. Another reason ties in with what I last mentioned and it's to do with my long term goals, I'd love to one day help co-ordinate and plan events, events with storylines that don't necessarily end up with the republic always winning or being finished in one go, but ones with multiple parts that are continued the next day or even week later as they have a strong RP and real life like core, also tying my previous dupe comment in, sometimes during the day it can be a little dead at times fortunately there have been times when a 2LT has hosted a sim for me or I've organised Baton training for the CG on so that we can improve our response times etc, what would be great though is if we could get some proper battle sims organised, for example sims with defense and attack positions or sims that we can use to train and improve our skills in the battalion but also sims with a purpose (not just FFA) that can be roleplay orientated that other battalion members who are also on during the day with not much to do can take part in also. That said I realise those are big ambitions for someone taking the first step to join the staff team and to help with events and place dupes etc the privilege won't come right away but at the same time I realise I have to start somewhere, and I think I'm now ready and experienced with the workings of the server to help out and maybe add something.

Tell us a little about yourself (3 sentence minimum):

So as mentioned before I'm originally from England, just south of London. I moved to Spain with my family 3 years ago, so far it's going well! Moving to a different country has been eye opening but at times frustrating especially when you're used to rushing about and getting things instantly, mañana mañana at first was unbearable, now i'm pretty much used to it (I've heard this approach is great for stress.. and should add a year or two to my lifespan.. so I'm told anyway xD) In fact one other benefit of moving abroad is that I've had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world - it's been enlightening to meet personalities and cultures from around the globe and I've benefited for it. 

Do you have any previous staff experience?

Sadly no, in fact I recently installed Gary's mod and joined a few Starwars RP servers, this is the one I thought was the best for a number of reasons and now I'm hooked. In my day to day life I do have experience though, my first job was in retail so I was used to dealing with customers and helping answer any questions, through my other jobs and current roles I have responsibilities too, I like to be diligent in caring for these assignments and also I'm not afraid to delegate when it's needed otherwise I can very easily get burnt out, this has been an important lesson as well as making sure I make time for people to express their feelings and concerns - I've found just listening to someone and letting them honestly express themselves goes a long way in making someone feel valued and appreciated and although there may be no solution to their problem they feel better for it.
