Conrad Posted March 10, 2025 Posted March 10, 2025 (edited) Question: Why was it changed so that commands can now only be used in admin mode? Comments/Concerns: Before the update It was quite easy to use most commands outside of admin mode, but now requiring admin mode means you have to go into staff mode to do anything, even cloak. This results in the immersion breaking B1 being seen more often, and stops you from being able to do things on the fly with commands that you might need to. This feels like a pretty big negative and curious if this is something that can be changed so that more things can be used outside of staff mode to make things easier and less immersion breaking (i know immersion, but its important for me). Staff Member you're asking: IDK @BUB maybe @Jayarr Additional info: Just feels like its a hassle without a lot of benefit. Edited March 10, 2025 by Conrad 1 C

That way you can be cloaked before you do anything else. Stopping the b1 from being seen is key. Second are setmodel and setscale, because now you can't do these to yourself since you have to be in staff mode to set these, which getting out of resets. @Quillhan has had to feel the pain of this one greatly, and so will any GM trying to set themselves for a event After that the punishment ones like mute chat and mute voice, to stop mingy people quickly. 53 minutes ago, Charles said: Respawn, Sethealth, Setarmor. Azara Posted March 10, 2025 Posted March 10, 2025 Hello, creator of the staff system here, We have this functionality built in already, we just need to hear your opinions and an approval from your leadership (Danny or Moose) to make these changes to commands. Current: ❌ Former: ✔️

Not to say that making tickets is bad, but in events where we are dying often or scenarios where I need to reset myself I could previously reset myself with binds using said commands. It still takes a while to set myself with force abilities on the bar, adjusting my model, adjusting my hair color, and then using the binds for setting my scale. Without that, I have had to decide whether or not to bug others to set me every time I am killed or use normal scaling. I just don't want to be bothering other people to set me up frequently. BUB Posted March 10, 2025 Posted March 10, 2025 I will speak with Directors regarding the suggestions made in this thread by both @Conrad and @Charles to see what they would like done. 1 hour ago, Quillhan said: setmodel and setscale, because now you can't do these to yourself since you have to be in staff mode @Quillhan, if you run those commands on yourself the system kicks you out of admin mode. So run them on yourself, then boom you are no longer in admin mode. @Azara can correct me if I'm around, but that is how we discussed solving this problem.
