Freck's PC Nightmares

Recommended Posts

Now this isn't a plea for sympathy for any of you who think it is.

I'm looking for a new PC+Monitor. Budget being incredibly low (Lets say 350 pounds)

I'm struggling with where to look and what's "best" considering the price range. For those that will probably comment "Just save up", I'd just like to point out that not everyone is in the same financial boat as you, and simply "saving up" cannot be an option. I live with three younger siblings who obviously take priority. We aren't a "rich" family.

Believe it or not, I run at a consistent 15-20 fps... brilliant stuff, right?

Just to answer the question "What on earth are you running on?!" I've attached an image below: (This isn't mine, this is an image of someone else's that I found on the internet, as I cba to take a pic of my own lol)

TLDR: I'm asking for assistance from you computer/tech gurus to help me find a PC that's sustainable for School Work alongside playing the server + other games like League.

Love you all <3

So homie, 350 pounds isn’t that good, whatever you buy for that price will just be as bad as what you currently have. I get that saving up isn’t a option but if you’re going to upgrade then you have to actually upgrade, which requires a little bit more money then what you’re willing to throw down.

So I don't know the conversion, but there's some really good MSi laptops that aren't running great graphics but have a lot better power than what you're running rn. I bought my laptop which is running intel i7 9th gen and an RTX 2060 and I can run games like battlefront 2 2017 at max settings at like 100 fps. The server is still pretty shitty so I only get like 50-75 fps most of the time, but this laptop only cost me about 870 pounds, if I converted it right. I'll try and link some stuff that'll be a little more affordable for you.

317.84 pounds- please understand this one is pretty fuckin shit.

556.82 pounds - MSi is pretty good, I have a different one, but this one is only running intel core i5.

Just some ideas, I'd stick with MSi, and whatever you do don't get a fucking chrome book or an Acer.
