A Method to fix/increase FPS [Less Lag]

TL;DR:

Here's a way to improve your FPS on the server.

Steam Library-->Rightclick GMOD-->Properties-->Betaversion-->x86-64 - Chrominum + 64 Bitnaries

[=] Extensive Step-by-step [=]

1. Open Steam.

2. Go to Garry's Mod on your steam library.

3. Right-click Garry's Mod.

4. Go to the "Betas" tab.

5. Select the beta you would like to opt into: "x86-64 - Chromium + 64-bit binaries".

6. Close.

7. On the Steam Library, hit the "play" button.

8. On the popup (launcher options), select "Open in [x86-64]".

9. Done!

 

< I personally went from 30-60 fps to 60-190 fps with this. Big epic. >

Don't consider low FPS lag compared to the 500 ping players get during an event. Rather run 60 fps on constant low ping vs 200 FPS on 1000 ping.

Or just get a good computer  also i get good fps in general its just lag

100% Agree here. However, there's not too much we can do in regards to server lag/ping. That's something high staff have to take care of. As per the last community meeting, there's already progress to update the server box and relocate it towards the central of the US. In additions to improving content to produce less lag, over the course of the next months we should see vast improvements to the current condition.
