Event Name: Geonosis Factory Part 1 (RETRY?!)

Summary of the story: Intel was received that there is an operational droid factory on Geonosis. Recon regiment was deployed by the Chancellor to gather intel on the factory. 

What was the result of the event?: During the mission, the troopers found and defeated a Tactical droid which gave a third of the information of what looked like co-ordinates. However, the republic decided to retreat and regroup. (Server crashed).

Was this more of a role play oriented or "shoot em up" oriented event: Shoot 'em up (didn't get to the Roleplay parts ;-;)

2/10 make the sith obey the rules, less droids on the walls, wider maze, a lot of people not being brought to the spawn.

The rules in which you are talking about, are rules set in place by the Jedi and Sith that are for their trials, they don't event jobs don't have such rules.

The droids on the walls was to make things more challenging as you had multiple things to think about and couldn't just push through easily.

Staff were helping to bring people back as much as possible, as the defibs didn't seem to work properly as people were insta-respawning instead of being in the defibable state.

What @Scribbles told me that he was seeing, was blaster bolts bouncing from jedi to jedi, being reflected constantly in which caused mass latency on the server. This is a known issue with no fix but for people to be cautious.

Thank you for the feedback.

I would just like to point some things out towards the points in which you provided.

"Too laggy" - That's an issue almost all events had, I underestimated how many members were online in Recon regiment. I had to spawn larger amounts of droids, which creates some lag, otherwise there'd be no real challenge for the players.

"Too much spam from Dooku" - This is an opinion in which I respect, however there is no rule against it for event jobs, and I did talk to Dooku about less spamming once people were complaining about it, unfortunately the server crashed before Dooku got to go back in.

"Too many droids' - Answered in the first point.

5/10 Not sure how dooku is able to reincarnate after being shredded by blaster bolts and starts to unleash hell on people with his never ending lightning and heavy spam. TOo many battalions in a tiny spot ensuring the death of every single trooper.

Thanks for the feedback, as I have with others I would like to discuss the points in which you have pointed out.

 

Dooku didn't die, he used force Teleport  to escape when he was at low health, rested up (to regain some health) and then jumped back in. Same with Grievous.

Same as stated earlier, no rules against spamming for Event Jobs, however I  did tell him to slow it down, before we crashed.

There were only 3 battalions, 41st, Rancor and 91st... 91st only had roughly 6 members.

It was a solid event, and quite a good idea with the rock maze.

However you cant blame a guy for the instant respawn bugs that comes with the defibrillator system.

Aside from the server crashing.

Only peeves i have with the event was the heavy spam and pingponging, also the admin response time. As a game master you should make sure tickets are tended to almost immediately unless something more important is going on. I.e the constant instant respawn tickets weren't being paid attention to by admins, it got to the point where player admins had to TP people. 

Aside from that it was a really intense event, and actually made me feel like there was a sense of constant death. Close quarter absolute fun. 

Also for those complaining for lightning spam, it's not a rule for event jobs. Only the sith empire.

I.e Event jobs may spam lightning if they so wish. It may be tedious and annoying but it isn't against rules.

For those complaining on the lightning, grow a pair, as for the heavy spam, get used to event jobs doing it, it won't be your last event seeing EJ's spam heavies.
