Battalion/Area you are applying for: 38th ENG CORPS Battalion Commander

 

 Experience:

I joined on Icefuse just before SR started and moved over here when it started. Since then I have played daily and worked my way up the ranks.

 

Why should you become a Commander?:

I feel that if I was given the role of 38th Commander I could build it into the example of what battalion RP should be. I am focused on not only putting out great RP but also giving great RP scenarios. I have had a few times where I would do random patrols or ENG checks during slow time and it would lead into long passive RP scenarios with other battalions and Naval. I always enjoy it and usually a few people mention it being fun. I want to make that a normal thing and by being in a position to help keep that flow going is what I am offering. If I were to get the commander position I would not only be open to criticism but I would encourage it so I could grow into the best possible version of myself. I am truly just looking to make 38th the best version of itself that it can be.

 

 

Do you understand the lore of your battalion?

Yes. I have researched all lore related to the 38th even though it is limited.

 

Availability:

I play daily. I work 5 days a week but when I am off I am here. I am always accessible via 3rd party contact even when I am not on.

 

 Estimate of how long you've played on Synergy Roleplay?:

Since the creation. 1.5-2 months

 

Do you have a microphone?:

What plans do you have for the battalion you are applying for?:

I want the 38th to be known for its RP and its hard work ethic. I will make sure the tryouts remain challenging. I want the specialization tryouts to be top tier and difficult. I will personally work to ensure all training hosted by 38th is thorough and a high level. My goal is for people to see 38th troopers and know they worked hard to gain entry and that they will have exceptional RP and exceptional game skills. 

I also want to build more passive RP. I would love to see constant RP at all times and I feel with 38th I can help to grow the passive RP during non event hours. At the moment I am working continuously encouraging passive RP such as: formation training, face training, lore training, ENG & MED training, patrols, ship system optimizations, and many more related situations. I also hope to get other battalions involved to build on their specialized lore and build the bond with the 38th.

In the time ive been in the 38th I have been working on increasing the RP output and the image of the battalion. I am completely dedicated to this battalion. There is no other position I am interested in as my focus is solely on building this battalion to everything I can.

 

Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?

Even though the 38th is still a small battalion, it's growing everyday due to his commitment and time. This application says that he is applying for BCMD, but given his involvement in the regiment I feel that he is already at that level.

+1, In the time that I have seen 38th on the server, I have noticed one person who stands out among them and would make for a good battalion commander. That is you. I feel that with your experience, along with your vision for how you want to change the 38th would make for you to be a great leader & battalion commander of the 38th.

I'd like to add one key comment to my app but I will add it in the comments since it might be missed by a simple edit.

I in no way want to make this my battalion. I plan to setup trusted and well trained officers who will handle various sections. A strong SMB to run the sergeants. A strong Leader for each specialization to lead that group and do tryouts and training.

I feel this will help to have key pillars to support it and 38th as a whole will stay strong. 

As well as I am thankful for all those who have given me the chance to even be able to do what I am currently doing. 

And a big thanks to those who believe in me and have given their support. This is for Lords Jek, Sparks, Medic and Lord Adviser Ginyu.

+1 for Apache to become BCMD of the Dirty 8.

I would say so many amazing things about Apache (Great RP, good work, very active, humble, etc.) but we would be here for days.
