  5. Steam Name: beaverraveparty RP Name: 332nd Executive Officer Vaughn RP Rank: Executive Officer Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:104907581 Battalion or squad you are applying for: 501st BCMD Rex Experience: PVT-XO Since day one, I have spent all of my time on this server in 501st and worked through just about every rank throughout the battalion, with a few exceptions where I’ve skipped a rank or two. My time in the NCO core is when I actually began working hard and finding myself enjoying the server more and more. During my time as an NCO/SNCO I was a part of the JT regiment as a JTO and the 332nd subunit as an officer there as well. Both of these positions have helped me learn leadership skills and also the skills to be a good mentor and role model to others in the battalion. I learned how to also host training, recruit new people and train new people into this regiment/subunit and make sure they understand their role in it. Once I achieved the rank of Warrant Officer I decided I’d help the battalion out more and joined a dead ARF regiment as it’s only ARF Officer and with no ARFL I was basically running it all alone with the help of REGL at the time. During my time as ARF Lead and Warrant Officer I decided I’d leave 332nd and join Torrent Company as Boomer. This was a big step for me because I never saw myself being a Lore Character on the server. After getting Boomer I got ARFL and grew the ARF regiment into one of the most popular regiments in the 501st at the time. We had more ARFs at this time than I had seen since I had joined the battalion. After my term as Warrant Officer and working with the NCO core on making sure they are doing things the right way and being like a big brother to them, I was promoted to Captain. This was kind of crazy to me, I never expected to make it this far at all. As a Captain of the 501st I began helping out wherever I could. I was helping the new Warrant Officer’s with whatever they needed as well as keeping up with the NCO corps still. During my time as CPT I also began learning from the Senior Officers how to be an even better role model and mentor to everyone wherever I could be of use. I learned how to do some officer tasks such as disciplining when needed and also promoting when deserved. Eventually after putting in work as a Captain I was promoted to Major and eventually Lieutenant Colonel. During my time as a Senior Officer I helped the Junior Officers by teaching them all the skills I had learned from the Senior Officers before me. After some time as Lieutenant Colonel the position of 332nd Vaughn opened up. After applying and getting an interview I got the position and a huge promotion to the rank of Commander. This was amazing for me. I now had a unit to myself to help grow and become better people in the 501st. As Vaughn I have worked hard in getting the 332nd to be somewhere a lot of people want to join and I have consistently had a really good group of active troops as well as a good group of Officers and Jedi to help me lead and make some slight changes to the subunit. Also during this time I was now a Commander in the 501st. I learned from the current Rex of the time (Marvel) How to lead the battalion as a whole and be a real leader and mentor to all those around me. Him and Atlex have taught me so much throughout my 5 ½ months as a Commander under each of them. Recently I was promoted to the rank of Executive Officer of the 501st. This was an amazing blessing and since then I have been working as hard as I can to make sure this battalion is running smoothly, even though it isn't very tough as we have an amazing core of Officers who are always eager to help out and help wherever they can. Why should you become a Battalion Commander?: I think I should become Battalion Commander because I have the maturity to help lead and get people to listen to me. I have the approachability for people to come to me about problems or anything else they ever need to talk about. I have the patience to always try to get into most situations level-headed and listen and observe before I react. Another thing I am good at is being a mentor and guiding people to be their best selves. I have worked with several of the people in our battalion to help them grow into great officers who I am very proud of. I’ve been in the battalion for quite a while and with that I’ve come to see what the battalion needs and how to tend to this specific type of a battalion. With this experience, comes knowledge and I’ve come to know and understand the ins and outs of this battalion and it’s something I treat like a family. Do you understand the lore of your battalion or squad?: I do. Availability: Availability: I work 7 days a week from 6amEST-6pmEST, so anytime after 6pm EST till whenever I go to sleep just about. But everyday changes due to my field of work. But discord I am available pretty much 24/7 as I always have my phone on me. Estimate of how long you've played on Synergy Roleplay?: Executive Officer Vaughn has played for 1290:34:39 Do you have a microphone?: Yes Where do you want your battalion or squad to be at the end of your term?: I want the 501st to continue the activity and roleplay we have had for the past 2 Rex’s. We are in a great spot as is but a few little things i’d like to change/fix are: Jedi: I would like to work with our current Jedi officers to make the 501st a more appealing place for a Jedi to be welcomed into. Senior Officers: I’d like to create a system that gives the Senior Officer corps a more set picture of what their roles are in the battalion and have them have more say in things. Junior Officers: We have had a good group of officers throughout the past few months and would like to see them continue moving on. I'd like for them to be able to be more independent and not feel like someones watching over their shoulder constantly. Warrant Officer: Continue the system we have for WO but have them work closer with Senior Officers to help guide them to be the best officer they could be. NCO/SNCO corps: The system we have in place is great but there's always room for improvement, I’d like to get the SNCO corps working more with the NCOs to guide them and be a good helping hand when needed. 332nd Company: I have worked very hard to get the 332nd to be where it’s at right now. We have a great number of clones and Jedi who are active and work well as a whole. Would like to work with future Vaughn in finishing the new tryout we have in progress and try to keep a steady number of active people and teach them how to be good mentors to the rest of the battalion. Torrent Company: Torrent Company is in a good place and spot with the current Appo but one thing I think could be worked on is having the people in these positions act more seriously around base during events and other times. Most of these troops have been shown to be serious in the show and they should portray them as such. Regiments: Our current regiment system is in a good place, but nothing is perfect. I will work with the current REGL in making sure the regiments are run properly and have a good influx of people. Intel: Not gonna lie, I am terrible when it comes to Intel stuff/doc stuff but our intel team is amazing and our ITD is a genius. I have no suggestions for them as of right now but there’s always something that comes up through each day. Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?: Yes Do you understand that your position has a three month term limit and you must reapply after three months to maintain your commander rank?: Yes
  6. This guy is awesome, does a lot around base from what I can see and has shown himself to be a good leader, good luck! +1
