Tell us why you want to be an administrator (6 sentence minimum): Where do we begin? So I’ve been a member of this community for a good portion of time and I’ve had a hell of a blast so far. I’ve had the opportunity to meet and develop relationships with new people in a variety of battalions. It has been a fun experience and I’ve had the chance to progress and develop throughout the community and will continue to do so. I feel like after two years being away from the Garry’s Mod as a whole, the community has opened my eyes on how enjoyable the experience is and is the reason I am applying today. I wish to develop further throughout the community in a way where I am able to allocate my time and assist the community to the best of my abilities. In other words I wish to give something back to the community as well as joining a professional and friendly staff team.
I believe that I am motivated and dedicated enough to be a member of the staff team and I’ve only ever had friendly encounters with the staff team. When I first joined the community I felt welcome by the staff I had interacted with for assistance. I wish to be on a team and be at the forefront as I believe the staff are not just there to keep the peace, but also engage and be an active member of the community, being directly involved and overall engaging and talking to the community as people and not as robots. And so far this seems to be the only community which has a diverse and honestly human staff team.
Tell us a little about yourself (3 sentence minimum): Nothing really to say about myself, I reside in the United Kingdom to begin with, England to be exact. I’ve been a member of this community for a small time, not as long as other people but so far have had a blast. I am usually a friendly persona and strive to improve and develop on a personal level. I’m a man with an ambition to work for either the Police or possibly become a Lawyer in the future, that is why university is on my agenda. I like to have a joke, I’ve been told I can be quite stubborn at times and that my laugh is the most horrendous thing to listen to. But that’s me.
Do you have any previous staff experience? If yes, please elaborate on what you have accomplished: In this community, no. Outside the community, it has been roughly two years since then. I’ve worked for a community team for a small while, which dealt with suggestions and community queries and overall engaging with the community. I've also dealt with development which I’ve not done in years, however gave me some insight during my time at College and gave me a foundation to work and improve on. I’ve also worked my way up on a previous community to Head of Staff which honestly was a lot of fun, running and managing a staff team and honestly building something professional can be stressful and challenging but the end result is brilliant.
I’ve also run my own community for a short while during my Arma III days, in which I ran a unit of forty people conducting four operations on a weekly basis. It lasted for a good amount of time and helped me understand how to run and work along-side a medium sized community I would say.
