  1. Bounty hunters deserve what they get.

     

    that being said I’ll host events for them all day if I could, because I love them, and being antagonists is roleplay that is scarce. BH RP has a lot of lost potential because this is clone wars first, so being on base is the only way to get mass interaction. Otherwise, it’s bounty v bounty RP, which isn’t utilized as much.

    Description of event/encounter (required if no document provided): "The Banker" put out a bounty on a woman on geonosis who had a rough past with him, as she is aligned with the CIS. After some diligent fighting and sacrifice, the bounty hunters were able to eliminate her.

    Circlejerking aside, as the overall life of the server gets more complex with more weapons, subclasses, etc, DU started to lose its purpose as the z6 carrying convoy running gamers they are. 

    Drama wise, even when I was director there was problems, and they're not always there, but the same battalion having problems is not a normal thing. I don't remember the last big drama that CG had (for example) unless it was one specific player rather than battalion structure. In my time, battalions attract recurring problems if their old members can put themselves into the battalion and still have some authority.

    I know DU has no Honorary System but if it's anything like many others battalions/factions, then previous BCMDs have a place where they can all talk and discuss current issues. From what I can tell, this is almost never an issue in other battalions, but if this is still a problem a year and some change later where members are having issues recruiting and running the OfC ranks, and former High-ranks are shadow-running the battalion, then there's no telling what may happen. It could be a dead job-slot like C3-PO/R2-D2, or it could have a small niche of people that bleed green. However, I don't see it coming back to 15+ a day every day any time soon.

    +1 For removal; if for any reason it does not get removed, I'll join DU as a Jedi to put in my part. It's really easy to say that something is irreparable from the outside, so if DU gets a second chance, I'll dive in to see what's the culture about, and what can be done.

    Description of event/encounter (required if no document provided): A jawa was chased into Anaxes base by droids, seeking refuge. A CIS Captain was searching for this Jawa, but after being refused, attacked the base with his magnificent Lucrehulk ship. Unfortunately, the Jawa was non-cooperative and made the Republic's life harder. The Jawa ended up being in possession of CIS intel, and upon capture, was used to annihilate Tuuk's Lucrehulk. Unfortunately his ship survived the assault, but not without heavy casualties. Until next time...

  5. We get money for killing NPCs already, so the droid part one is redundant to an extent. 
     

    I would like to see (and hear me out) some kind of weapon parts for clones similar to Jedi. Even if they’re non-functional, being able to sell randomly spawned parts to the armory would be neat. 
     

    but if the development was there to make functioning scopes/silencers/etc that would be epic

I mean don't get me wrong I'm not a big DU fan but you could have gone about this in a much better way than saying:

    You get paid ever 3 minutes. This math is way off because of that. It takes a 350 (base battalion trooper) credit pay day job a bit under 11 days and 22 hours to save up 2 million credits. Which is roughly thr amount you have for the x5 for a specialization job. 

    edit:perms weapon wipes have always offered 100% refunds (outside the two josh did like 4 years ago where he wiped credits also.)

    i understand this is a business, but the sunk-cost fallacy only stands for so long.

    I was thinking of buying credits for my 10mil AR, but after seeing the price, I couldn’t stomach doing that.

    this won’t reduce the number of people purchasing stuff on the synergy store, I’d be willing to bet credits is one of the least purchased items on there. Allowing players to spend more time acquiring credits increases population, and dedication to get the weapon of their dreams

  9. Most of your encounters have lacked a story from what I’ve seen, a lot of time-killer types. 

    also I agree with Conrad, give some more detail to your deployment, you’re on the right track, but I’d like to see either more story in the deployment or your encounters in the future.

    I’m willing to bet you have the best intentions, I just haven’t seen the the history to ensure you’ll be the highest quality GM.

    I’ll throw my +1, but please put more detail/effort and I’ll support you wholly :)

    Description of event/encounter (required if no document provided): A research ship crashed through Nosegate, reporting that aliens were on-board. They were not hostile, and warned the troopers to not engage in combat. However, the aliens did get in combat, and evolved into more lethal ones. Eventually, the Naval managed to harvest eggs from the creatures, and hatch it, but didn't feed it so it died in debrief

    Description of event/encounter (required if no document provided): The CIS discovered a powerful invention: Hull Breaching Drills. Drills were deployed all around the venator, causing droids to enter through the newly made holes. However, the main drilling droid fell through one of its holes, and was thrown into moonpool. Alpha ARCs left the ship to destroy the remaining droids preparing to enter.

    Description of event/encounter (required if no document provided): The temple was attacked in the night by chemical weapons, a lot of zombies and younglings were present, and the responding troopers watched as zombies annihilated many younglings. In response, the Jedi researched and found out about who sent the attack, and decided to dispatch them, bringing justice.

    I would suggest getting better helpers, or not allowing people to place tacs in zones of active fire.
