Name: SCribbles RP Rank: Major Suggestion: Allow the LAAT/Ie Or the Patrol Transport to have a special training much like AT-RT's and BARCS. This can correlate with a new type of training that Base-Ops can oversee. Such as Gunnery training for Co-pilots to operate in the vehicle. It can keep things alive while maintaining the stupidly overpowered usage of this new vehicle. Refer to when we first went to endor, our base map. We got BARC and AT-RT trainings that stayed. That were over-saw by their respective battalions. But open to everyone. Eventually the trainings will rack up to the point of it not even mattering, but a proper maintainment int he beginning i believe will help. Implementation: Introduce a new training. However you must have pilot training to get this training as it pertains and correlates with such. High Command will be over-seeing it to make sure it does not get out of hand. Lore: Patrol Transports were made for Controlled enviroments, if we allow just anyone to hop in one like a LAAT it would be stupidly overpowered and not fun. Tl;Dr: Dont Limit it to specific battalions, HC will oversee trainings while base ops can introduce a type of co-pilot gunnery training for this vehicle.

It keeps certain things relevant. allowing any normal pilot trained individual to get access to the most OP republic side vehicle at this moment would be silly. And restricting it to specific battalions would be a severe mis-use of an addition to the server, it would be a better middle ground.

oh, another comment on this. Remember when we swapped to endor? How no one was allowed to use BARCs but 91st or when 41st had authority over who got to use The AT-RTs? I Personally think this should be `similar` as it is a special vehicle. Not in the contents of restricting it to a battalion, but making a Special Co-pilot gunner training and working along with the driver, as the co-pilot gets control over the guns. E.G you wouldn't be able to fly it unless trained for it and pilot trained. As silly as it sounds to being with, it will eventually evolve into everyone having it. So no need to complain at first, just make sure it gets proper management. It sounds odd i know however at the moment this is the most over-powered republic vehicle in regards to vehicle HP. 2nd tier when it comes to weaponry. As to who this training should fall under, dunno as Shock are a battalion to have posts and needing to arrest poeple, so i feel like a training that they would over-see would be unnecessarily adding onto their weight. I feel like this should be more of a high-command thing rather than a server suggestion. Since i thought the MCMD Was going to write rules about this? I still think the patrol transport should be for rare occasions. Its the 2nd more overpowered ship in the server.

@Rose You know endor is still a map on the event server, people just have to DL it its endor v3 however. Since it has the Jedi temple that's int he corner of the map. Sith temple, and senate chamber TP. Hell, crystals even spawn on there still with all perma props. LOL

Im gonna be honest. I feel like if we had a ship Baseops/Naval would more relevant as yknow. Ships. +1 for now though (Sorry Baseops)

I will be giving the 187th commander some time to see how the battalion goes under the current BCMD's leadership. I am not opposed to this suggestion. However i will be -1'ing due to the 187th just getting a new BCMD. If their batt doesn't pick up then i will +1 this. overall -1 I think other people should see how the current BCMD does of course.

I made this suggestion a while ago It was denied :c Only reason it got denied was because the files couldnt be messed with when it comes to the whole "Players lose all armor" thing. +1 though.

can we lock this thread, while this is a problem yes, it cant be fixed unless the join system is changed.

This is a known glitch. This has already been made aware to most.

@Gene Starwind This is a known thing that happens continually. You might want to void this as this cannot be helped unfortunately, the said individuals are banned. How it works is that when you click join on the server, it will appear as the white text, but then they will be greeted with the "you are banned" message. The green text with the steamID is for when they connect. If they cannot connect and are given the ban message, they are capable of spam joining which floods the chat with the "Player has joined" message, they will still be banned and unable to connect. It is nothing that is fixable at the moment. Many other users in the past have done this, however they just get bored and stop eventually, nothing to worry about as if said individuals come back they can be dealt with.
