Name: Gears Suggestion: Create a Serious topic section for specifically synergy topics. Why should we implement this? I think we get numerous posts on the forums that have little moderation when people are actually trying to have a discussion and about the community/server only for them to be hijacked by old members or people who dont really care. Now I dont want to come in as the "fun police", i think we have our fair share of trolling and joking on posts and I dont think we should preventing that. Just feel we should add a section for topics that usually get hijacked would benefit us and actually create better discussion. How will this improve the Forums? More proper discussion.

I mean like, there's got to be some level of self-awareness when it comes to starting and perpetuating drama that goes beyond slop forums post right? Like I'm assuming that you just kept starting stuff in discords and PM's when told not to or warned or som like that. (If not then I would stand corrected) but your Reasoning isn't really helping your case out other then relying on your friends to be in support. Like it shows that you still don't really plan on avoiding the reasons for your previous ban. Like just give a blanket statement saying like "I promise not to start drama" would be more efficient then what you put. +1 though since I don't play and don't really care either

As the current 104th BCMD I see absolutely no issue with allowing him back in the discord if that’s what he wants. +1

I don't mind this suggestion at all, even though I think it's use would be incredibly limited this day and age. I'd be interested to see what you'd imagine rules for that sort of section would look like, or if the emphasis would be on moderator discretion. I'll be candid here. My moderation has been incredibly lax as time has gone on. As the community has become more disconnected to the forums, so has their care for following the rules. Once it got to the point of VA's, HA's, and Directors not following them, I decided to just step back unless it was a serious violation. It seemed to me that top down, no one really cared anymore and my actions would only be viewed as a nuisance, not as protecting good conversations. Also, while it might look like that, there has been plenty of edits to the community rules and guidelines since 2021, the edit history is just hidden.
