Event Name: Research Distress 

Summary of the story: A research facility fell under attack by CIS forces. After sending a distress signal that the resolute received they began departure to the location immediately. Upon arrival the resolute found the space station getting bombarded by CIS forces and quickly deployed ships to assist in the defense. Since the republics response time was so slow... CIS reinforcements came in to blow up the station after getting the data . CIS reinforcements then attempt to disable the resolute and secure the research but ultimately fail and are pushed back by the clones.   

What was the result of the event?: CIS secured the data but the republic eliminated all CIS forces in the sector. 

Was this more of a role play oriented or "shoot em up" oriented event: RP/Shoot em up
