Looking to see if anyone has any opinions/thoughts on the build I have for him. Price range is 1500 Max (just the pc, he has monitors and what not). Use case is work and light gaming, usually online stuff like valorant/league/mmo's. Find a little more powerful GPU or bump up to 32 gigs of RAM. Otherwise this is a great build. 5800X is easily one of the best budget CPUs right now Alternatively, you can swap to a B450/550 board and save some cash to push towards a better GPU. Maybe a 6700XT. All for 1400$ One of the only issues here is you risk bottlenecking your GPU with that CPU if youre aiming at a 1080p resolution. This is a much higher resolution build.
