When designing job weapon classes we try our hardest to ensure all weapons on said job have a purpose other than looks. In this instance it would just be your standard pistol that serves no other purpose. I see peoples arguments of wanting it for RP purposes or just so you have a pistol. But anything you could accomplish with a pistol you can accomplish with any other weapon in your standard load out. The weapon vendor offers many pistols if you wish to go that route.
