Night Staff Idea

Suggestion: This is a little unorthodox, it doesn't follow the standard template because the template doesn't fit what i'm recommending  but it's something I've thought on for a little while and i believe some will find it to be a valid idea. Myself and others are only on the server during odd hours. I find myself sitting with many other players having nothing to do late at night 6 out of 7 days in the week. What i am suggesting is a Night Staff rank. For those of us that are new admins, it's very difficult to get moved up if we're only on during these odd hours. The CC recruitments are almost non-existent. White lists rarely happen. This makes it near impossible to really strive for the admin/senior admin rank.
 

So what would a "Night Staff" do? For starters, making a night staff a combination of a game helper and a new admin would be sure to keep late night players entertained. We could host small encounters while also having the ability to spawn things for players that are trying to host tryouts or passive RP late at night. I believe it would just bring a more enjoyable experience to players that have a hard time being on during prime time due to work school ETC.

This is kinda what EU staff do...so i can see this becoming a thing...combine EU and "Night" staff

Just like when I was staff it was hard for CCs. Game helpings help aswell and being noticed not just trainings, unless it's still 10. I dont think this will be added but the rank most likely wont

To be honest, I would rather focus on putting people into positions that in turn can notice the lower level staff members doing well during low pop, who in turn recommend you for promotion, instead of making a new rank which kind of seems like a bandaid fix.

I’m aware there has been some communication issues, and lack of oversight in certain time zones, but this is being internally discussed and solutions should be present in the coming weeks.

It would make more sense if you apply for GM and staff rather than create a roll which sudo combines the two. 
If for some reason late staff can't fit the requirements to get these positions that is an issue with the staff team members themselves not the staff structure.

Its not really saying its an issue with a staff, just an idea to help give late night players a more entertaining experience.

This is more of a high staff thing because if people aren't doing the things they need to and it has been seen multiple times where people ignore tickets or helping players then they will be punished. In regards to a new role of night staff it will honestly end up being the same thing as staff now, we need EU staff and other timezones to fix what the issue is now.

 

I personally try to be on late as I can but work has been cucking me the last few days. So -1 from me for my reasons stated above.

you have a point, just from being on late night all the time there's never anything going on. Just players running around minging. I think its an opportunity to add a little more life to the server

Denied, we are currently working on the management structure and are fixing this as is. Our staff rank structure from New Admin-Director is perfect and does not need changed. Thank you for your suggestion.
