Scribbles Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 Name: Scribbles Suggestion: Bring Back Tantrum Rantums Why should we implement this?: I feel an extra addition next to Offtopic/In off Topic would help as some people just want to vent some frustration or complain about arbitrary thing. How will this improve the Forums?: Well as far as i'm concerned when i saw this was removed, a lot of people were confused and upset why they were removed, and i believe a place to vent frustrations would be a helpful area. NOT To be confused with direct callouts/Complaining about stuff being worked on, IIRC: Calling someone out and stuff that meant harm towards an individual was removed. Extra: I never knew why Tantrum Rantrums were removed, if someones knows can you comment why? I'd Also like to hear your thoughts on adding it back. (Idunno if this is gonna get Vito Denied but its always worth a shot)

Retired Founder Ron Posted December 27, 2019 Retired Founder Posted December 27, 2019 When I took over forum dev, the section was just called “Spam Center” or something, and I renamed it to Off topic, while keeping the current “rules” in place you can pretty much most anything there but it can’t be server or staff related as you said, and has baseline rules that follow normal rules like no porn or gore

Because at some point in the past whilst people did use it to complain about the server, some people actually contacted the ranting individual to potentially ask whats up and whats wrong. IF anyone can correct me then by alll means.
