  1. +1 A damn hard worker, a great leader, and a good man to have as the next Bly.
  2. Steam Name: Spud RP Name: 501st REGL Commander Kix Steam ID STEAM_0:1:427800520 Battalion or squad you are applying for: 501st Legion Experience: Combat Overseer, Support Overseer, Disciplinary Lead, Intel Team, 2 Terms Of Warrant Officer, Quartermaster, Regimental Lead Why should you become a Battalion Commander?: I believe I am best suited for the role of Battalion Commander mainly because, for the 8 months I have been on Synergy, I have been a leader. Although, it was quite the new concept for me to have, I quickly adapted with ease when it came to leading the 501st as Warrant Officer, and later Commander. I have the respect and commitment from my men that have proven the success of my leading and our team work. Team work is a key factor in my eyes, without team work, a battalion is doomed as soon as they touch down on the battlefield. Everyone must be on the same plan, one leader, and a unit full of men following that order to the code. Yet, if he forces his men to do his command through threats and yelling, he is not fit to lead. I have had my fair share of yelling and threatening commanders, and I also have been in combat with great leaders through which their calm nature and persistence usually leads to little to no casualties. I have learned to be the second option, and if need be, remind them of the situation and bring them all up to speed upon the effectiveness that is expected of us. As a second part to my reason on which of which I believe I would excel at Battalion Commander is because I keep everything organized, no matter the amount of people there are. I enjoy a challenge, and with the size of a battalion like the 501st, it is always a fun challenge to tackle. Whether it is setting up simulations or setting events up with Miguz, it is part of the fun setting things up for the boys, it is worth it, no matter how hard the work it is. I also believe I am a great person to, if need be, handle the disciplinary issues that arise. Being the former Disciplinary Lead, I did whatever was necessary to fix issues within the battalion. Many times when I saw fit, I would demote, or even remove troopers over many ranging issues, and it would always better the battalion with fixing issues ranging from officer disrespect to FailRP. It is a thing that I cannot let idly happen, especially since we are one of the biggest battalions on the server, and that most of the other battalions look up to us for guidance. Finally, I believe I would make a phenomenal Battalion Commander because, even under rough and troubling times, I stayed with my men, and continued leading. When the previous Rex left and we were stuck out in the open, with nowhere to go, I took charge. I set everything up for new regiment leads to step in. I removed the problems, and gave the 501st solutions, I assigned a new Disciplinary Lead, I assigned a new Arc Lead, and I assigned a new Advanced Recon Lead. These sort of changes and movements worked with ease because of communication on both parties behalves. I also believe that being understanding is an important factor on being a Battalion Commander. If there is no understanding, then it is no different than being a dictator. In my eyes, if you are willing to work and listen to your men, when it comes time to fight, they will follow your every move. That is one thing that I personally is earned, not immediately gained, and like previously stated, the men I fight with will have my back every step of the way when we touch down in the combat zone, and are great communicators, ranging from spotting enemies to the medics rushing to the injured men and treating their wounds. In conclusion, I believe that I would be the best route to go for Battalion Commander for many reasons. One, I am level headed in the heat of battle, I think quickly and get my men to cover and make sure everyone is in unison. Two, when the time comes, I will be the first to touch down, and the last to leave, I put my battalion before myself, which is a humbling thing but something that all Battalion Commanders should do out of pure necessity. Third, I will be stern but fair to the battalion at all times. I know there is a time and place to have fun, and believe me, I'm all for it. Yet, if you go out of line, you will most certainly be dealt with accordingly. Last but not least, I have a strong history of leading. Whether it is being Disciplinary Officer, or Quartermaster, I will help lead the men in any scenario seen fit, I will make sure that they almost always having something to do, so that way they are not bored, or tired of repetitious things. Thank you for taking the time to read my application, and I hope to see you all as the next 501st Battalion Commander Rex. Do you understand the lore of your battalion or squad?: Yes I do. The 501st is one of the most regarded Attack Battalions in the Republic, with it's leader being Jedi General Anakin Skywalker, and his loyal and sharp-minded Padawan Ahsoka Tano. and his Battle Proven Captain Rex, who leads Torrent Company, alongside the remaining 501st. The 501st would be the first unit to have boots on the ground and it'd motto was minimum casualties, maximum effectiveness. Availability: 7 days a week, preferably 5PM EST on the week days, anytime on the weekend. Estimate of how long you've played on Synergy Roleplay?: Around 8 months, and 1750 hours. Do you have a microphone?: Yes I most certainly do have a microphone. Where do you want your battalion or squad to be at the end of your term?: I want the battalion to be like the former days, when the usual number were averaging 10 instead of the low numbers we have been dealing with recently. I want Officers to regain their competency and to have the Officer and Senior Officer slots filled, with competitive nature being set so that way people have to earn their Officer spot so that way things are not handed out like candy. I also want for the recruitment from NCO's and SNCO's to skyrocket, along with sim's and training to have excelled. Do you understand that if you go inactive that you will be removed from your position?: Yes, I am aware and fully understand the role and job characteristics behind the role. Do you understand that your position has a three month term limit and you must reapply after three months to maintain your commander rank?: I most certainly do and fully understand the requirements and commitment of what is needed to re-apply.
