  1. Well it's finally my time. I've been on Synergy for almost a year and poured hundreds of hours into it. I started off as a 91st, then went to RM when 91st got the boot, and finished it with the 501st. Below I'd like to mention some people that I laughed, had fun, and made memories with. @Joah Starting off with the big man himself. I didn't get to spend that much time with you when you were Anakin and Rex but they were some of the funniest times. My favorite being a forbidden order event. You, a few other troopers, and myself walked into the High Council Chamber and found a few younglings. One of them was Kitty and she walked right up to you and said that classic line we all know. To which you then proceeded to force choke her and I died of laughter. By far one of the highlights of time on Synergy. @Quill Khan My original 501st dad. It was great playing with you and having a Rex that was down to earth. I'll always remember the "golden days" as we call it when we would take up two rows in DB. My RM brothers. You know who you are. You guys made Medbay feel like home to me and took me in when 91st got the boot. We may have disliked it at the time but deep down I think we all enjoyed having bored troopers coming into Medbay and throwing random symptoms at us to treat. I'll always love the running around we did from bat to bat and getting five shoutouts every DB. @Jags Whether you like it or not you are my child. I watched you go up the ranks in 501st and Rancor. Hell you even surpassed me in rank. This is coming from a dude on the internet and doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things, but for what it's worth I'm proud of you. I'd hope to have a trooper start below me and one day salute him and I'm glad it was you. My 501st HWS and JT boys. Whether it was jumping from ledge to ledge or being a bullet sponge in the front I enjoyed it and loved being your Combat Overseerer. Jaxxx my man. It sounds stupid but sometimes I see myself in you, thats meant as a good thing 😉, and you're gonna go far kid. Stick with it and once you get those big officer boots I know you'll learn to fit into them just like I did. As one of my last actions in the 501st consider this my personal recommendation. Finally the best two for last. Omalic, the man who stood firm. What can I say? It's been a hell of time. You're a great guy Rex and an even better guy. You always had/have my respect and some healthy fear. Whenever you would said the classic line "Runner I need to talk to you" I would always think "Wtf have I done?!" even though I knew I did nothing and those conversations never ended in anything bad. Im honestly having a hard time putting my thoughts to words to describe everything weve seen and been through. For what it's worth it was an honor serving under you. You and the next person I'm about to mention are the main reason I kept coming back and stayed in the 501st. @Phil You joined about a month before I did so for most of my time in the 501st I spent it under your direct command. Never at one point did I have a problem with that. You're a pillar in the 501st man. You and Omalic were people I didn't think of as superiors or fellow troopers, it was/is as friends. Some of my best laughs were with you guys and I hope to stay in touch with both of you. Also that restaurant of yours is on my bucketlist now. So if I'm ever in the neighborhood and ask for it you better be ready for a dorky lookin kid to walk through the front door. Just because I didn't mention you personally doesn't mean I didn't love our time together. You people know who you are. Synergy is the only Star Wars RP I went on. I stayed because of the people, the immersive moments, laughs, and the occasional "edgy" things that risked us getting in trouble. Like that time those people nuked Coruscant, blamed Nade, and then nuked Geonosis. My life is starting in a few months and I need to focus on that so I'm stepping down from all my positions in the 501st. It was fun while it lasted everyone. If anyone of you would like to stay in contact please hit me up I'll gladly touch base with you guys from time to time. I'm not one for goodbyes so I'm just gonna leave this at a see you later. 501st Pilot Job

-1 and here's why. I dont agree with removing a regiment because then it will require ANOTHER vote to decide which one gets the boo. Secondly I think pilots is just fine right now and should stay this way. By not having pilots as a job in the 501st it allows PLT to coexist, so to speak, with our other regiments without hurting anyone's numbers. I think it would be better if pilot jobs are left to 104th, Hawk, and Oddball (Sorry if I missed any other named pilot character). While pilots are being allowed to fly a lot more lately it still isn't a lot and often limited to an LAAT and adding in another pilot job I think would only increase conflict of who gets to fly.
  4. +1 I joined the 501st when he was Rex and always looked up to him. He was someone I had tons of fun with but I got serious whenever the time came.
  5. +1 definitely the type of the guy who steps up to the plate when no one else will and cares about his men. You both deserve it and wish the best of luck to you.
  6. +1 I joined roughly a month after he did and have watched him go up the ranks/positions. When he was HWSL I gladly followed beside him and I have never had a doubt in my mind he didn’t earn the position he was in.
  7. The 501st is targeting you? If the numbers are correct we have approximately 72 people in the 501st. It's one thing to claim that a few people are targeting you but it's another to claim 70+ are. If you are going to make a huge claim like that then I suggest to come with evidence, EX: screenshots, rather than group up the entire bat because it just makes your claims look false and irrational.
  8. Let me start this by saying I've been on Synergy for around half a year now. Ive been in the 91st, RM, and now the 501st so I've seen the sever from different perspectives on the ground. In all that time I can't remember the last time I've been told in debrief two simple but meaning words, "Mission failed". I'm not saying it's never happened but in my experience it hasn't happened to me and please tell me if it's just me that hasn't heard that. However if a large portion of long time members have the same issue then I think something needs to change. Yes mission failures aren't fun and suck but we have to earn the victory because it gets boring winning again and again and again. Which brings me to my next point. Secondly I wanted to give an event suggestion, a campaign. No not two part or three part events I mean a legitimate planetary invasion campaign. It seems hard, and is hard, but with the proper planning I think it can be done. Here's my idea Story: Two Republic Frigate operating as scouts have discovered a new temperate planet in the unknown regions, no not earth but similar in its climate and diverse landscape. As they begin charting this amazing new discovery they notice a lone CIS frigate comes out of the planets atmosphere and jumps away, not noticing them. It seems the CIS have beaten us there. You may be asking me "Why don't they have a blockade?" well it's because they don't want us to know they are there. They wanna stay low profile. Is this lore friendly? No. It won't be lore friendly and will be extremely unlorefriendly at times but you know what sometimes we gotta push the boundaries to have fun. How it will be done: Ahead of time maps will have to be pre-selected off the steam workshop, don't limit yourself to star wars maps GMs, and put all of them into a list so that way we can alert everyone ahead of time and they will have the proper add-ons. Hell add modern day tanks into the list, you'll understand why later. New maps will have to be selected for this to work. Maybe a few of the ones we already have but new ones are badly needed so we are forced to work in an environment we are unfamiliar with. How our actions will matter: Here's an example to explain this better. I was thinking the first part would be only recon being deployed, in secret, to the planets surface to find out what the hell is down there. No engaging just get in, find out what we are up against, and get out. What would be there is a base with CIS troops, tanks, etc. but make them get dangerousouly close to find out extra Intel. Maybe hide a terminal outside the base somewhere that had the flight patterns for the next few days of fighter patrols, you'll see why. If they got all Intel THEY THINK there is then they have to decide to pull out thus ending the mission. If they are successful they are told what they accomplished but not what they missed. If they fail then it changes the entire campaign. Here's what would be the outcome possibly -Mission Successful: CIS are unaware of us knowing they are there and in the next event it will be a pilot only event where they are sent in on unsuspecting patrols to take them down to clear the way for the "LAATS that are on fast approach". If they got that extra bit of Intel I mentioned then it becomes even easier for the pilots and they don't have to shoot down that many fighters as they normally would. -Mission Failure: CIS now know that we know they are there so when the event mentioned above happens now the pilots have to deal with more fighters this making their job harder. You see what I'm getting at here? Each event affects the next one down the line. This campaign could go perfectly, horribly wrong and be a failure, it could be a phyric victory, etc. Now let's say the pilots fail. Well now the attack battalions are deployed but have less lives because they failed and "on the way to the drop zone LAATS were shot down" but here's where it gets better, in my opinion. The 212th get their own event where they attack something like a town idk buuuuuut all the other attack bats are deployed along side them and will be colored orange, unless you wanna white list everyone as a 212th, to give the illusion that this is a 212th operation only. Later on the 501st, 327th, etc. get their own events like this but technically all these events are happening at the same time in the story. Now if you've made it this far first off thank you for taking the time for reading this essay from a pleb like me. This event would take major planning but if planned and written out correctly then any GM could pick it up and move on with it so we don't have to wait for a specific GM to do it. Go all out GM on this. Use Gmods vanilla humans and ballistic weapons, have them be the locals and if troopers kill too many of them then they become hostile and now we have to fight them AND the CIS. Hell put the columbine in there but don't call them that. Have them fighting the humans and we can ally with one or the other, or at one point get a senator to barter an agreement with one of them or if they are persuasive enough get them to make peace and both ally with us against the CIS. This could be something amazing that everyone enjoys and every single job gets to do something pertaining to them. Thank you This is 501st Runner signing off
