Yea thats fair enough. if it does get accepted and worked on i hope they just make it the 1 shield because it is just generally better for people with diverse playstyles. i could definitely live with it being 2 shields though

i see your point. although having separate shields isnt really the best idea either since then if DS use their shields we have to have 2 sweps instead of it being centralized in one swep. also with the shield being strong i agree it is very strong when deployed the problem is when youre holding it its not that great in pvp or pve (especially now that the animations are broken)

Name: CheesedGod / Stone RP Rank: MAJ Suggestion: allow shield user to shoot Implementation: make the current deployable shield more usable in combat by allowing the user to shoot with a dc17 pistol or Dc15a . example when the shield is held you hold the shield as normal but once you aim in you lower the shield to allow you to shoot like in R6 siege this giving you the ability to help more in combat but with the disadvantage of making yourself more vulnerable to fire while also still being useful as a shield for the advancing force. [Also note we do not want to remove or replace the ability to place the shield down] Lore: as seen in the Clone wars show on ringo vinda with dooms unit they utilized a dc15a and shield to protect the squads advance while still contributing with firepower.
