Moz gun Bug

Recommended Posts

Bug Type (server/forum):Server

Severity level (1-3): 3

Evidence (if you can):https://i.imgur.com/EMpiSwD.jpg

Description of the bug: SO what happens is when you aim down sights  your screen shakes so bad that if you don't equip your hands you screen goes black and you have to rejoin the server sometimes this even happens when your not even aiming. I hear people talking about it on the server a lot but no knows how to fix it. the only solution is is not  even permanent it last 30 sec you have to re-spawn but it just happens again.

How can we recreate it: i don't know if you want a video recording ask Dro in covert ops because and don't know how to recreate it

Current: Wildfire

Thanks! I'll test around with the guns and see if I can use a different one for a bit!

Aha! So other people have been having this. I have some bonus screenshots, specifically of the console.

Mine happened with the clone minigun, but it's the same bug described. I happen to have the middle dot on my TFA crosshair, so I can see a little bit of what happens, and what happened was the dynamic recoil parts would just fly off the screen, and shooting like that would cause HORRENDOUS recoil, to the point of either throwing you into the ceiling, or completely destroying your rendering. @Maxwells

Like i said i am Taking a look at it rn as we speak, It appears to be a heave miscalculation of the Weapon Vectors:

https://gyazo.com/b17908fb1dea88256c00de647989d93e

All the

[Entity]:SetPos(x, y) or [Entity]:SetPos(Vector(0, 0, 0)) -- This Basically means where the Gun is being put and how the Tracer Is Shooting out
-- The [Entity] Very well could be the weapon or Yourself (Althought is not likely to be you)

--[[ Now you saw that ]]--
-- C_LuaBase
-- and
-- C_LuaEffect
-- are being called the C_ meaning ofcourse Client Only

--[[ LuaBase is just the TFA Base for the weapons i think theres is two params overiding eachother which is causing this huge mess i am currently looking into it and i have stubbled upon a miswritten param that was overriding one of the weapons ]]

And because the last part just ignores it, its putting your weapons in random Spots Like the shacking and shivering of the weapon

Hello,
Sorry you’re having an issue. Here is the first solution I would recommend:
-Close Gmod.
-Open Steam workshop, go to subscribed addons and unsubscribe from all.
-Go to library and right click Gmod, go to local files and press verify integrity of the game cache.
-Now navigate to your Steam folder.
-Go to steamapps>common>GarrysMod>garrysmod>addons
-Delete all the files in here.
-Go to this collection:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1363545204
-Subscribe to each addon one by one, do not use subscribe to all.
-Let them all install, then launch Gmod.
-Allow Gmod to mount all the addons.

Join the server, and check if your files are working. :)
Resolved.
